This was once a nice place to eat, sadly, no more. The service is very slow and the food is cold. I guess like many chain restaurants, they start to take the client for granted.

Great service, great food and great drinks

Bad service, I stand at the front door around 10 minutes and their staff just ignored me, steak was rubbish and the sides came when I have already finished the steak, sweet potato fries was black colour, can’t believe it.

Restaurant was not very busy, but we waited for a server 19 minutes. They were on their phones also chatting to each other. Food was tasty. Good supervisor is needed there as service is slow and unattended. Lady in glasses deserve a pay rise as just she was working.

Visited on a Monday afternoon and was only provided with the main menu as opposed to the lunch menu. The restaurant was extremely busy as there was only two people serving. After waiting for the waitress who was rushed off her feet to finally come back we asked for the lunch menu. When the food finally arrived it looked cheaply made, dry and disappointing as you can see from the photo. I will certainly not be hurrying back.

Sorry if I've got the name wrong, but would like to say a massive thank you to bashim for excellent service last night, he really did go the extra mile. It can be hard to go out sometimes with a baby but he came over with animal balloons for her which honestly made our whole night and hers meaning we could actually sit down and enjoy our meal, food was lovely and so was the cocktails and that just topped it off, thank you again :)

This TGI has fallen off, meant to be great for the kids but waited for our food for 40 mins, no crayons or anything provided for the kids. staff were loud and shouting, just looked like they didn't care, very unprofessional. Manager was the only one who looked professional and on it. Table was sticky as guy had just cleaned it and chucked us on it.

Felt dirty and run down. The prices are extortionate given the food is essentially fast food. Our server was excellent.

The most shocking thing is that this restraunt pays no attention to reviews as we have experienced today exactly the same scenario as other reviews from 1-2 months ago. The staff....just wow, 2 or 3 clearly don't won't to be there, one in particular was literally dragging himself around the restraunt,avoiding any hint of work. Other staff generally huddled together avoiding eye contact with customers. Our experience as follows: Drinks order arrived after the main course served One meal wrong , asked for no cheese but got cheese. Finished meal waited 20 mins , but not a single member of staff to be seen on our section. Just shocking, manger should be ashamed. The business as a whole, wouldn't be surprised if they don't go bust. Vastly overpriced mediocre food, abysmal service. Definitely won't be returning.

Quite possibly the worst thing I've ever had served to me. Bland, cold microwaved pasta accompanied by flat drinks. Charging nearly £20 for a ready meal served on a plate is actually bonkers.

Lovely friendly staff. Large portions and tasty. Tried the mocktails can highly recommend.

Food etc may have been good but I don’t know as I never managed to actually find the place. We are not local so rang for directions before our visit which were totally unhelpful and despite driving round for quite some time we never found it so ate elsewhere.

Visted Earlier and had a full rack of the Ultimate Ribs, they were cooked perfectly and a good sized portion! Big thank you to TJ running by himself and still delivering good service!

Really enjoyed this meal. Friendly service and the food came out in a sensible amount of time (unlike our local TGIs which takes forever).

Very expensive for fairly low quality food which was all either over cooked or had clearly been sat under a heat lamp for too long. My fajitas came out sizzling and generally looked pretty nice but then I had to wait a further 10 minutes for the wraps and sauces to come out by which point the sizzling meat was no longer sizzling! The most unfortunate part of the whole visit was the long waits for each of the courses. It was a Sunday evening so really not busy at all. Very poor experience and one we definitely won’t be repeating!!

Very expensive for what it is. We were sat at our table for 10-15 minutes before we were able to flag down a member of the nearly non-existent staff to order drinks. No usual check up to see if everything was ok with the food when we were served.

I've been to TGI before, years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time we walked in and back out again within 5 minutes after seeing those prices. I don't have the prices on hand, but they were taking the piss. About £9 for mozzarella sticks starter. North of £15 for simple strips and chips. I know inflation has hit, but this is more expensive than the food I get in the financial district in London. No way will I be eating here until those prices regain any sense of normalcy.

Where to begin - with the sort of youth staff they hire you can’t much in the way of anything resembling service, not from a bunch of early 20 somethings who don’t give a monkeys. Far too busy play fighting, bantering each other & counting the minutes until shift end in an attempt to get away with doing as F all as possible in the meantime. Waited 35 minutes after being seated for a drinks order to be taken and that was only because I called someone over from the group of ‘yoots’ standing around together scratching their backsides. Took another 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. They then asked for our order - a full hour after being seated - it was only then we could point out that we hadn’t even been given the kids menus we’d asked for when ordering our drInks. Asked the waitress to come back in 2 minutes after the kids had had a chance of choosing their meals - a further 25 minutes later we were still waiting. 90 minutes after arriving we had enough and walked out having never even had the chance to order. Disgraceful service beyond belief and the prices are an absolute joke for some basic burgers

Came here with my Vegetarian girlfriend as she loved the meatless chicken strips which is always her go to order when we come here: I ordered a cheesy burger and upgraded my chips to the PLANT BASED chips so my VEGETARIAN girlfriend who has been a vegetarian of 10 years good enjoy them. The waiter took our order (baring in mind my girlfriend pointed to the meatless chicken on the menu) and I explained I wanted to upgrade to the PLANT based chips as she’s a vegetarian (which I confidently said) so she can have some as well. Got our order, eating away baring in mind my girlfriend is a little poorly so has lost some sense of taste and smell. After the 4th “meatless chicken” she ate and questioned it, it turned out to be chicken. Long story short; the waiter who took our order blamed us for not confirming the meatless chicken and went to explain he is a vegetarian himself. Didn’t offer anything as an apology for 10 years wasted of not eating meat so we had to ask for compensation. Disappointed is an understatement.

Staff did not want to be there. Didn’t make for a good environment. The restaurant wasn’t busy, mistakes were made with food and drinks. After singing happy birthday to a younger person, one female staff member walked away towards us and motioned fingers to the head “kill me now”. Absolutely did not care that it was in front of customers. We will not be visiting again.

You basically know what you're going to get when you go to TGI's but this branch actually exceeded my expectations! The food was tasty and hot and took a reasonable amount of time to be served but the difference was really in the service. Our waitress Nicola was friendly and efficient and really went out of her way to ensure my son had a great birthday dinner. We will be back for sure!

Friendly staff was seen to quickly and taken out orders in good time. Waitress was really nice and helpful. The downside is that I couldn't find a baby changing room so had to deal with that… 2 people supposedly staff where sleeping upstairs in the seating areas which was a nice touch. Food took awhile to arrive which was decent but had gone up in price about £20 for the sesame seed chicken and some if at all any salad on the plate smaller portions compared to previous times going there. Doubt I’ll be going again.

The Two Waitresses When We Arrived, seemed disinterested In What they Were doing...we waited 10 minutes before we ASKED if we could have a drink, one Waitress was even running her fingers through her hair,not ideal when your serving food ,food was very good,but the waitresses shouldn't have an attitude When you dont leave a tip...

I have had some awful food at TGIs over the years and coupled with the rip off prices (e.g. £5 for a small portion of fries...) I tend to avoid it like a plague. But my granddaughter wanted to go there for her birthday so we did. The food was surprisingly good and the service was excellent at the Watford Hight St store. Still expensive though in my opinion.

The staff in TGI’S are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is always kept clean. The food, not bad but disappointing with how expensive it has become. The food just tastes like something I can get in a local pub for cheaper.

1st time eating at a tgi Fridays and won't be a 2nd time. £20 for a chicken burger where the chicken didn't even cover half the bun. Service was very, very slow despite being fairly quiet. The waitress seemed to prefer sweeping the floor over actually providing a decent service. Overall, pretty awful.

you sent completely the wrong order plus it was inedible and went in the bin, also just eat you are a disgrace in not offering a refund even with photographic evidence that you asked for. Both absolutely disgusting

We visited on a busy Friday night and were seated within 2-3mins. Our waitress was kind and helpful and we got a pretty good table despite how packed the restaurant was. Our drinks came quickly but there was a 20min wait for the food, which I'd say was pretty underwhelming for the high price point. The half stack ribs seemed like a small amount, and the burger was so overcooked and dry, not much flavour in it. The sweet potato fries were great and came with a tasty mayo sauce and our drinks were great too, but the mains were a little disappointing. There was a group sorting out payment right next to us for a good 25 minutes and another group threw ice at us (?) as well so atmosphere-wise it wasn't the best. Overall, kind waitress and good fries/drinks but the food is soooo overpriced! Two mains + drinks (one £5) totalled up to £63, definitely could've had a better meal for way cheaper elsewhere.

Jesus Christ Mother Of Mary, be prepared to remortgage your house on this one!!!!! don’t mind spending top dollar on top food put this is no different than a hungry horse or table table!!!! frozen fries, cheap meat, small portions! Cooked ok to be fair! But my God £38 for the ultimate mixed grill and nearly every other meal for basic food all north of £20 you’re having a laugh!!!!! And nowhere near worth it!!! Also the 2for1 cocktails they entice you in with!!! Again beware because the cocktails are £16 each to start with!!! And again although there is nothing wrong with them! You gotta be pretty daft to think you’re actually getting a good deal here and they must think we are all daft as Donny!!!!! Staff were good though and the restaurant was clean and tidy!!! But there are much better places out there you can eat for this type of money, and the food was extremely underwhelming. And the cost was hurrendous

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and well done up! Our host Nicola was fantastic and super attentive to our group! We were here to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and she made the day very special!

T.G.I. Fridays is okay, but nothing special. However, the chips were nice and so was the hot chocolate. The steak and the corn on the cob were both a bit disappointing.

It was horrible. Dirty, sticky table, you almost had to beg for cutlery, what was brought out was dirty. The food was tasteless and expensive. I don't recommend it to anyone.

The tables and the silverware were dirty. The service and the foods were awful (and very overpriced).

I wish I could give 0 stars. When we arrived our table was not ready. We had to wait 15 minutes for a sticky and dirty table. The waitress holded our glasses from the inside. The dinner set was also used or not cleaned properly, couldn’t tell… We asked for a gluten free vanilla icecream with cream, and they put a whole cake(!!!) inside of it. The food was plain and the desserts were feozen. We had only apple pay and we had to argue for over 10 minutes to split the bill in two because it was over the limit. Don’t recommed.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, just ordered a cheese burger sweet potato fries and wings, the burger was half a little piece of chicken and 1 small bit of tomato plus it was barely edible because it was so sloppy, the sweet potato fries were all wet and hardly cooked, it was just mush, and the spicy chicken wings were horrible with hardly any spice ,DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Was a loverly dinner food was great and the waiter the served us he was lovely and attentive. It was a shame we were sat next to the bar as the staff drinking there were terrible, loud, in the way of workers. The second gand embrassment I felt was unbearable made the atmosphere awkward. Okay so meal came to 75 for 2 people. We got the steak with fries and a coke Sharing wings sweet potato fries and a cocktail Coke syrup had run out had to be replaced twice steak ordered medium rare was dry, flat and over cooked which cost 29 pounds aswell!! Wings was a tiny portion not worth the money Sweet potato fries were £6 and the portion was tiny Cocktail didn’t taste right either. Table was sticky Not worth the money tastes like whetherspoons food just heated up in a microwave or airfryer Won’t be returning Staff tried to help but it seems like it’s just a load of teenagers running it, dissapointing

Pretty dead in here. Asked to do a substitution they've done many times before but was denied. Waited ages to be greeted and even longer for drinks. Staff don't care if you come or go. Terribly disappointing.

Staff were incredibly rude. On arrival the guy at the first desk was slicked, no hello or how can I help you . I asked for a table for two was grunted at and shown to a booth. On the way another man, who worked there walked right into me, with no apology. We sat down looked at the prices and based in the service decided to leave . Staff were so rude .

i ordered a rump steak medium rare and was given a chunk of hard, flavourless meat. then on the side with the steak you get a pot of butter- which is still unable to give some sort of flavour. somehow even managed to give the franks hot chicken sandwich no flavour aswell. the fries and the calamari were nice and thats about it, service also wasnt too bad. a shame since tgi fridays used to be my favourite when i was younger

There's an expectation vs reality here which doesn't meet the mark, as you can see from the photos. Stock photo vs reality. £20 for the cajun pasta, with a tiny piece of chicken, I was stunned. We will not be returning...too expensive for the quality and quantity

The staff are more interested at Fortnite emoting at each other than working for money. There’s a reason they don’t auto-add the tip, don’t bother unless you are starving and out of options…

Not sure where to start. first of all I hate to leave reviews but feel like tgi honestly need this and hopefully action is taken. how does such a big chain get away with this Ok the staff were brilliant five stars no problems there The food had no flavour no even a hint of salt or pepper Ordered Mac&cheese horrible. no flavour no cheese. just had some sort of bread crumbs on top that were not even toasted Even after I put salt and pepper it still couldn't hide the fact there was no flavour. Plus it was cold it was served in a cast iron dish but it was still cold... We ordered a full wrack of ribs no flavour or seasoning just plain with BBQ sauce on top Also cold but they were soft and fall off the bone. The side of coleslaw was one tablespoon in a dip pot. corn and chips for 30 pound is very expensive Cajun chicken with pasta had a little flavour chicken was soft We complained and was offered to get the food recorded but who the hell has time for that when you're bloody starving. If we wasn't so hungry we would have refused to eat any of the food and demanded our money back. Drink glasses dirty

Shockingly bad service! We booked for daughter's bday and they did nothing at all, waited a VERY long time for drinks and food, no one at the door on entry, Manager apologetic but did nothing to remedy our terrible evening. Don't bother going!!

Discusting,gross an encyclopedia of horrible words could describe the Mac and cheese for 1.the presentation looked define there was great cheese pulls 2. It was likes wolf in sheep's clothing even though there was a cheese pull there was no cheese at all 3. It was UNDER COOKED PS: you have ruined my love for Mac and cheese.

This time bad experience in terms of food- ordered on kids menu - only veg option was pasta but did not have sauce available, so child had without sauce. Sides ordered beans and rice which tasted awful.

Worst Mac and cheese I have ever tried so much so my gf can do better! I have tried better food at wetherspoons! Avoid at all costs a complete rip off for something that is barely palatable. I am never going to this establishment ever again.

Well this is the worst experience I’ve ever had going out to eat. My wife and I arrived and was shown to our table, the table had just been cleaned but was still rather sticky. We looked through the menu and could not believe the prices they were charging for some items, for example £4.30 for a can of Dr Pepper is absolutely extortionate. We only ordered mains as the starter prices were absolutely ridiculous £9.50 for 3 halloumi fries is again extortionate. My wife ordered her favourite as normal, sesame chicken. I ordered the New York strip (which is a steak) I ordered mine rare. We ordered drinks at the same time. My wife had a bottomless soda and I had a Moretti. It took a long time for the drinks to come and when the waitress finally brought our drinks they were not on a tray and she was holding them at the top of the glass. My beer was flat and when our food arrived I was disgusted at what was brought to me as in the pictures I have posted my steak was over done and flat. It was the cheapest steak that had ever been served to me at a restaurant and this meal was being charged at £29.80. I had to get the attention of the staff so I could send it back and I told them I didn’t want another one. So only one of us had eaten, no one checked to see if we was ok and when I asked for the bill we had to wait 10 minutes for the bill. It was very quiet so I don’t understand why it took so long. I will not be returning to TGI Fridays again until there are major changes as this is not worth any of my money and no one should be paying these prices for the quality they offer. If I could give minus stars I would, there is so much more I could write but I think I’ve said enough. Shame on you TGI Fridays.

The food was okay but definitely didn't meet the price point, especially as it took a long time to arrive, even though it was a quiet Sunday night. The decor was decent with lots of Americana really meeting the theme, and the staff were pleasant.

It was quiet when we went. Food was lovely the service was great. The only thing I would say it is very expensive we paid £96 for 4 meals and 4 drinks

Wanted to seat down on the sofas along the window. There was no reservation and they all were empty. “It is unfortunately not possible. You need to take table for 2, as those sofas are for 4 people only.” At the same time other couples being placed at 4 seats sofas while we were squeezed at the table somewhere else in the corner.

Always had great staff serving. Portions have changed after the pandemic and its clear they have reduced. Range of different items on the menu for the whole family.

Thought I'd try T.G.I since, I've always heard good things about it and I honestly regret it. I enter and get told to be put in table where it's very tight for me which is why I changed seats. They then say we won't serve you unless you go to those seats. I ask for the American platter and am told two items of the platter are unavailable. I get asked my options and how I'd like my steak "well done", she giggles at me. By far the worst is it being my birthday and the birthday sundae cake was unavalible, so I got a chocolate.

My family and I ate here last night. We got free desserts using the App. I used my blue light card and with this the food was reasonable. Without discount I wouldn't be able to afford to eat here. Food is very expensive. The food was delicious but overly priced for what it is. Staff were friendly and quick service. Plenty of seating Wheelchair friendly.
