The best restaurants serving American food in East Midlands

I went to 1573 today with some girlfriends for lunch and cocktails, the waiter bought over our drinks,the waitress bought over a jug of water, she smashed a glass by accident , straight away it was cleared away including my cocktail which was replaced. The food was great, fab atmosphere, staff extremely attentive, waitress apologised, but no need all was well. A few minor hiccups with our starter sharing nachos, but was immediately replaced, staff were so helpful and went above and beyond for us all. Thankyou guys for a great meal, the food was a delight ,staff saw to our every need, well be back.

Nice place but staff think that once you've had a drink that we are all drunk,as they charge different rates as the night goes on for the same drink £4 extra being the charge so keep tabs on what your paying

We went to Toro tonight for a date night. The food was absolutely incredible. The rump steak was succulent and melted in the mouth and the BBQ ribs just fell off the bone. Topped with skinny fries and a stilton Blue Cheese sauce, it was just amazing. All the staff were lovely and polite too. Can't recommend this place enough. Can't wait to return. Thanks for a lovely evening.

No one answers the phone, they don't send the delivery orders and if you do go in they're rude. Reading replies from subway on other reviews they always ask for you to call the store, no one picks up

Great experience apart from extremely rude bar women. Didn’t welcome us and snarled at us for some reason. Had medium length dark brown hair and a stocky build.

Beautiful food, pricey but definitely can see why.

I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions previously. When we arrived yesterday we waited with no staff there. Subsequently after five minutes with still no one around. I actually called the restaurant telephone number. A lady came out of the kitchen. We were shown to our table. We were sat there no order taken. Eventually drink order taken. Still no order for food. Eventually another member of staff took our order. We waited fifty minutes for the food. When it arrived the order was wrong. My husband decided to just eat the meal & say nothing, the side of vegetables were also wrong. My food was undercooked.During our time in the restaurant we were served by five different members of staff. Very poor experience & not a nice atmosphere. When the bill arrived we had been overcharged. We addressed it & a small discount was applied. We shall not be returning.

Had a lovely lunch, staff were lovely (especially kira) and justified the price for a cheeseburger! (minimum characters)

The server Henry was really welcoming and professional, food was great will definitely go to this location again soon .

Good food prepared by Rich and great service as always from all the staff. Frankie was our server today who is always welcoming and a joy to talk to whenever we go whether it be for breakfast or lunch.

It was open when I went there! Fantastic full english breakfast, arguably the finest in Wellingborough(?) . Great service, great selection, great prices, overall great. Can't really fault it. Will return and use again, thx.
