Kobe Sizzlers in Leicester

We went for dinner again at Kobe Sizzlers - ramadan iftar meal - and as usual the food was amazing. Steaks and Kobe burger all on point and very gracious host/service 👌

Food was amazing. Service was extremely fast even during Ramadan which is extremely impressive.

Customer service was excellent but the food was bland and definitely the worst steak I had in my life. No flavour or any seasoning on any of the food.. definitely not worth the price. This was the first time I attended and definitely be the last! Dunno how businesses like these remain open because their food is not fit for consumption.

I am in Leicester City for work for a few days. I came to Kobe Sizzlers for dinner yesterday. I had the Kobe burger and a chocolate brownie. The Kobe burger is effectively a gorgeous beef burger with steak strips on top within a brioche bun. It is served with chips. The burger was so tasty as were the chips. I opted for cheese and truffle topping on the chips. I then had a brownie. It comes on a sizzling tray with chocolate sauce oozing and sizzling in the serving dish. It is actually really nice to watch the sauce sizzling in front of you too! I was served by a delightful young lady named Asiya. She told me about something promotional there the following day. Easily persuaded, I have returned again today. It was sirloin steak and chips for me today...and another brownie of course! I can not recommend this venue enough. It is warm, inviting, with great food and the manager, Assad, is so attentive and a really humble and welcoming host. I will make this my go-to place for dinner whenever I return to Leicester from London on business.

Absolutely amazing experience at this steakhouse for our birthday dinner! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server made us feel so special and was super attentive, recommending the perfect wine pairings for our steaks. The steaks themselves were cooked to perfection – juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. We also loved the sides, especially the truffle fries (a must-try!). The atmosphere was warm and cozy, making it the ideal spot for a celebratory dinner with friends. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Absolutely divine!!!! Amazing atmosphere and very very friendly and good service. The food was delicious, we got 3 starters: onion rings, crispy prawns and crispy chicken. We also ordered 4 drinks: piña colada, virgin margherita, original mojito and a Mexican coke. As main dish we asked for 4 Kobe Burgers with standard chips, truffle and Parmesan chips and garlic chips. The food was a burst of flavour and will definitely recommend for friends, family (including children) gatherings!

Been a a few times and each time iv been, i havent been able to rate it more than 1 star! But judging from just the recent visit, food was so tasteless, as expected. Just lacked flavour. Didn't feel it was worth the calories or the price! Veggies were also just so meh. The only good thing was the virgin mojito tbh. We were sat fairly quickly without a booking, on a Friday night, so that was good too.

We ordered the chicken burger which is very disappointing as it isn't a fillet of chicken, it's chicken pieces. They used cheap plastic cheese too. We also had the lamb steak which was not good quality, they gave 2 thin slices too. The noodles were overcooked and just became one homogeneous gloop. I was disappointed in thee Schwann sauce and BBQ sauce, both were overly sweet and probably from a bottle not made fresh. The chips and fries were really good!

The food was spot on 10/10 we had steak, chips and salad. The service was absolutely amazing too, the staff were polite and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place. Overall, a great experience!

Por si fuera poco, pedí una lata de cola, que no tenía marca y costaba casi 3 libras y una botella de cola 5 libras. El precio era escandaloso. Nuestra factura total llegó a más de £ 65 para solo dos de nosotros, y nos dejó sintiéndonos no solo hambrientos, sino completamente estafados. La comida sosa y cara y la experiencia decepcionante arruinaron por completo lo que debería haber sido una noche memorable. Si eso no era suficiente, me enfermé increíblemente esa noche y tuve que tomarme un día libre del trabajo al día siguiente. Fue una experiencia tan decepcionante, y no se lo desearía a nadie. We’ve been to Kobe a dozen times, special occasions! family love the steaks and I love their succulent grilled chicken burger. However I was really dissatisfied today as you’ve changed your burger from the succulent breast chicken to chicken bits… seemed more like a £4 shawarma in a burger… I’ve informed the waitress who confirmed that there have been a number of complaints about the change… I hope you are listening to your customers!!

**Restaurant Review: Koba, Leicester** We visited Koba in Leicester for what was supposed to be a special evening celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary, but it turned out to be an absolute disaster. The food was terrible—honestly, it was like eating rubber bands and cardboard. I ordered the sirloin steak, which was served with rice, vegetables, and chips, and not a single element had any flavour. It was completely tasteless, as though no seasoning or effort had gone into the preparation. To try and salvage the meal, I ordered an extra garlic sauce. Not only did it look like the curry sauce you’d get at a cheap fish and chip shop, but it actually tasted way worse. It was bland, thick, and completely unappetizing—certainly not what I expected from a restaurant charging these prices. To make matters worse, I ordered a can of cola, which was unbranded and cost nearly £3 and a bottle almost £5! The pricing was outrageous. Our total bill came to over £65 for just two of us, and it left us feeling not just hungry but completely ripped off. The overpriced, bland food and disappointing experience completely ruined what should have been a memorable evening. If that wasn’t enough, I became incredibly ill that night and had to take a day off work the following day. It was such a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. If you’re considering dining here, save your money and order a pizza instead. At least you’ll get some flavour and value for your money. Koba was an enormous letdown, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere.

Many of us in my party purchased steaks with one person going for a chicken burger. The steaks were fairly average in comparison to other places, factoring in price, taste, presentation and sides. I tried some of the burger and that was tasty, if I was to come here again, I would probably try a burger next time. I most likely won't come here for steaks though. Service could've been better, staff were around but always off to one side talking. We had to get up and go over to staff to ask for anything, for example: for additional menu's, only 2 were given for a party of 7. They suggested the online menu, yet none of us were able to access it. We again had to get up to ask to place an order. Overall, a reasonable meal with a nice atmosphere. Food and service could be better.

Tried this restaurant for once and I will most definitely not go back again. Firstly the customer service was awful and the food even worse. I ordered the rump steak the food is served on a plate with bullet rice, veggies and chips. The veggies were so undercooked they probably microwaved it from frozen. The food had 0 flavour I don’t understand how people eat here. They waste such good steaks it’s sooo disappointing. Don’t waste your money here. If you want to enjoy a good steak eat somewhere else. Their price point does not reflect the quality of their food at all. It’s better to eat somewhere else on London road.

The chicken was tender and flavorful, while the melted cheese added a creamy richness that elevated the dish. The rice was light and fluffy, a perfect complement to the sizzler, and the triple-cooked chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy within—absolutely addictive! Overall, my experience at Kobe Sizzler was fantastic. The combination of innovative dishes and classic flavors made for a memorable meal. I highly recommend trying their new menu items, especially the beef meatballs and chicken sizzler, which truly showcased the chef's flavoring. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings!

También vine por mis 30 años en agosto 24 y honestamente no pudieron hacer lo suficiente por nosotros, fueron más allá para asegurarse de que tuviera la mejor noche con mi familia. El personal ha cambiado un par de veces, pero siempre gente muy encantadora. Every time I go to Kobe I always leave with a fat smile on my face , just like how their steaks are . Always fat and juicy.Also their crispy chicken burger is amazing and tender. That is why this restaurant is 5 stars all round .

Hands down the best place to eat in Leicester!! First came here about 5 years ago while I was in uni and I still come here now when come to visit my little brother in uni! Truth be told I was never a fan of steak until I had their surf and turf… now you can’t keep me away from a steak for more than 2 weeks 😂 If you haven’t got the message yet, it you’re in Leicester it is a must try!

We have been coming here fairly regularly over the years. The food, service , atmosphere are all spot on. We have always had a wonderful meal and it’s a firm family favourite, whether there are 4 of us or 15!! The menu is straight forward, we all get different things and everyone is happy. I usually get the a steak from the Dexter options which is always perfect. Definitely recommended

We went for steaks. Service was very slow. If you are used to having good steaks, this is not a place for you.

Cons: - Didn’t like the seating, I felt like the space between the tables were too tight and the waiters and customers were struggling to move. - tables were sticky - service was slow, our order could have been taken sooner. Pros - food was decent, not wow but not bad.

Decent size portions. It is reasonably priced, unlike some well-known competitors' chain restaurant whose prices have gone crazy high recently. Taste wise, good as well. Nice presentation. The place is very spacious. Service is alright. I would rather come here for my steak than than pay extra for mediocre food and poor service in the above-mentioned chain, I think everyone can guess the name.

I used to come here every month for 6 years, but I didn't realise you have to wear a bally when you come because the staff members will eavesdrop on your conversations, talk about you and spread your business to the whole of Leicester. A lot of people I know have commented that the customer service was poor and I didn't understand what they meant until one of the waiters decided to talk about his and the whole team's opinion of me with people I grew up with. Our waiter, Ishaaq provided brilliant service, and it was a nice touch that the management came out later to ensure that my wife and I were enjoying ourselves. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place, especially for those looking for quality Halal steak options.

Had booked a table for certain time; however, when we arrived there was no tables available and had to wait. Once we had gotten to our seats I noticed a lot of staff members just standing around not doing anything even though it was a full house - possibly too many staff workers? We ordered our food and took 20 minutes to arrive which is very good. Because the good is so hot there's quite a lot of smoke and having no ventilators makes it difficult to breathe. The food was very hot throughout the whole course and it got to the point where all taste buds had been burnt and your mouth had gone numb. The food was mediocre considering the price. I don't think it's a good value for money tastewise but large portions are given.

Food as well as service are excellent in this place. Safa/Saba (I can't remember the name) served us with so much politeness, respect, and care. She is truly an asset to the company. Even the owner is very nice. Amazing experience over and over again.

With Assad being back, it's like the service just magically reappears! The quality of my steak was brilliant and the atmosphere was good different, one that I've not seen in a while. Keep those steaks coming bro, and we'll definitely keep returning for them...

This is one of the best places to eat out in Leicester. Absolutely love their food. The service is always on point. Try their paneer sizzler I think it’s the best paneer I’ve tried. Their lamb chops blueberry daiquiri and crispy prawns are always my go to.

The food was Wow *Delicious*👌 Even a Wow is underrated From the second we stepped in till we left the hospitality was Amazing. My kids have never finished their plate in any restaurant but even their plates were licked clean with their kiddy meals. My steak was Cooked to perfection and the flavour with the peppercorn sauce was mouth watering. Iv become a fan of Rib-Eye Steak after this meal. I was very disappointed with my experience here after it was recommended so highly. Staff were standing around and not being helpful, at one point the manager "had a go" at some staff. I didn't like the Mocktail so left most of it. I ordered the steak "medium" but it came out "well done". My friend ordered "aspin fries" but received "plain". I ordered a side of onion rings but they were so overwhelmed by the ratio of batter to onion, so it was like eating batter balls but the batter was doughy. After speaking to the manager I did receive extra peppercorn sauce, but that couldn't save my dining experience and I won't be going back

Really tasty steak, ordered Sirloin sizzler and Dexter sirloin. Both meals were fantastic, cooked as we wanted them. We definitely will come back again when next time in Leicester

Visitando Leicester por el día durante el festival de superdeportivos. Vino a este restaurante en particular para cenar temprano. El restaurante en sí parece limpio, un montón de zona de estar disponible. La comida es fresca y muy rápida. T - filete de hueso y el filete filete no está nada mal con salsa de setas. Mi único comentario negativo sería la falta de ambiente en este restaurante. Nuestro anfitrión para la noche era un hombre joven, muy educado. Después de pedir mis alimentos y bebidas, me mencionó que han dejado de servir Coca-Cola Dietética. Tienen algo similar llamado Green cola. Que también está bien. Cuando salgo a comer, me gusta un lugar con ambiente que hace toda la diferencia. Eso es solo mi opinión para otros puede ser simplemente genial. En general, calificaría este - restaurante muy promedio. .

Kobes a definite must go! If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. We only had good comments about the food. I was blown away by the service, in particular from a young lady called Zara. She was very pleasant and accommodating.

I have had the worst and embarrassing experience in my life. I have asked the staff about their drinks who told me they had ginger ale but did not tell me the brand this was not mentioned on the menu like all the other drinks. They brought the drink to my table where I said this is not the drink I have asked for and I was not informed by the staff what the brand was, whereas they had told me about all the other brands. I have asked to change the drink to another as I was not informed about the brand and the waiter told me they would ask the manager. After eating my starters and waiting 10 minutes I had to ask again about what was going on with my drink where then they called the manager to speak to me. The manager was very disrespectful and raised his voice, started to get angry and told me had not come across this problem since 2001 which I found very unprofessional. Do not recommend this place as service left a bitter taste

If you want to have a Sundays style slap on your plate steak go here. Even after telling the manager I don’t want my food to be piled up on the plate and stacked I still got it stacked and every time I moved my food everything was falling of the plate a proper overspill. Will never recommend anyone going here again. Nayim you was missed I think your only guy who knows how steak should be served. Didn’t enjoy at all as it was like my food came out of a car crash. I wanted fine dine in steak as you charge not Tobys Carvery for the fine dining price.
