One of the best steaks I have ever had in the UK.

Had booked a table for certain time; however, when we arrived there was no tables available and had to wait. Once we had gotten to our seats I noticed a lot of staff members just standing around not doing anything even though it was a full house - possibly too many staff workers? We ordered our food and took 20 minutes to arrive which is very good. Because the good is so hot there's quite a lot of smoke and having no ventilators makes it difficult to breathe. The food was very hot throughout the whole course and it got to the point where all taste buds had been burnt and your mouth had gone numb. The food was mediocre considering the price. I don't think it's a good value for money tastewise but large portions are given.

Food as well as service are excellent in this place. Safa/Saba (I can't remember the name) served us with so much politeness, respect, and care. She is truly an asset to the company. Even the owner is very nice. Amazing experience over and over again.

With Assad being back, it's like the service just magically reappears! The quality of my steak was brilliant and the atmosphere was good different, one that I've not seen in a while. Keep those steaks coming bro, and we'll definitely keep returning for them...

This is one of the best places to eat out in Leicester. Absolutely love their food. The service is always on point. Try their paneer sizzler I think it’s the best paneer I’ve tried. Their lamb chops blueberry daiquiri and crispy prawns are always my go to.

The food was Wow *Delicious*👌 Even a Wow is underrated From the second we stepped in till we left the hospitality was Amazing. My kids have never finished their plate in any restaurant but even their plates were licked clean with their kiddy meals. My steak was Cooked to perfection and the flavour with the peppercorn sauce was mouth watering. Iv become a fan of Rib-Eye Steak after this meal. Will definitely recommend and will defo come back when I come Leicester again.

The food is amazing. Their crispy prawn starter, paneer sizzler and blueberry daiquiri is our absolute favourite. The customer service is 10/10. The owner of this restaurant is so kind and generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was very disappointed with my experience here after it was recommended so highly. Staff were standing around and not being helpful, at one point the manager "had a go" at some staff. I didn't like the Mocktail so left most of it. I ordered the steak "medium" but it came out "well done". My friend ordered "aspin fries" but received "plain". I ordered a side of onion rings but they were so overwhelmed by the ratio of batter to onion, so it was like eating batter balls but the batter was doughy. After speaking to the manager I did receive extra peppercorn sauce, but that couldn't save my dining experience and I won't be going back

Really tasty steak, ordered Sirloin sizzler and Dexter sirloin. Both meals were fantastic, cooked as we wanted them. We definitely will come back again when next time in Leicester

I recently dined at this steakhouse with friends, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of our meal was the Dexter ribeye, which was phenomenal—bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was fantastic, combining a warm, inviting ambiance with stylish décor. Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience that I highly recommend.

Visiting Leicester for the day during the supercar fest. Popped into this particular restaurant to have early dinner. The restaurant itself looks clean,Plenty of seating area available. The food is fresh and very quick. T-bone steak and the fillet steak not bad at all with mushroom sauce. My only negative comment would be the lack of atmosphere in this restaurant. Our host for the evening was a young man ,very polite. After ordering my food and drinks, he mentioned to me that they have stopped serving Diet Coke . They have something similar called Green cola. Which is also okay . When I go out to eat, I like a place with atmosphere it makes all the difference. That is just my opinion for others it may be just Great. Overall I would rate this-restaurant very average. .

Came here for the first time today with our two daughters and I have to say....you guys are doing a great job and the food is fresh, tasty and presented well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely come again!! Thank you so much!

Kobes a definite must go! If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. We only had good comments about the food. I was blown away by the service, in particular from a young lady called Zara. She was very pleasant and accommodating.

I have had the worst and embarrassing experience in my life. I have asked the staff about their drinks who told me they had ginger ale but did not tell me the brand this was not mentioned on the menu like all the other drinks. They brought the drink to my table where I said this is not the drink I have asked for and I was not informed by the staff what the brand was, whereas they had told me about all the other brands. I have asked to change the drink to another as I was not informed about the brand and the waiter told me they would ask the manager. After eating my starters and waiting 10 minutes I had to ask again about what was going on with my drink where then they called the manager to speak to me. The manager was very disrespectful and raised his voice, started to get angry and told me had not come across this problem since 2001 which I found very unprofessional. Do not recommend this place as service left a bitter taste

If you want to have a Sundays style slap on your plate steak go here. Even after telling the manager I don’t want my food to be piled up on the plate and stacked I still got it stacked and every time I moved my food everything was falling of the plate a proper overspill. Will never recommend anyone going here again. Nayim you was missed I think your only guy who knows how steak should be served. Didn’t enjoy at all as it was like my food came out of a car crash. I wanted fine dine in steak as you charge not Tobys Carvery for the fine dining price.

Really good steaks, excellent service and nice welcoming atmosphere. You pretty much get what you pay for. Ribs and Tomahawk are excellent and highly recommend. Manager is fantastic and extremely helpful.

Booked a table for a large family. Food was okay, nothing special at all. Very basic menu with high prices. Portion size was very good. The colsaw had 🌶 🌶 🌶 so do not expect it to be your standard taste. The brown onions in the burgers were burnt, slimy and horrible. Parking is an issue. The toilets were not working. Definitely will not go again.

We had a really lovely meal - really juicy tasty burger with very nice freshly cooked chips and onion rings. We don’t come into Leicester and just happened to see the restaurant and went in on the off chance but will definitely make a point of coming again. Thoroughly recommend it!

For starters had the dynamite prawns and BBQ ribs which were really nice meat pulled straight of the bone. Mains had the Dexter rib eye with pepper corn sauce medium done which was beautiful and the chips were nice and crunchy. My reason for giving the 4 is just because the amount you pay for a Dexter steak you'd expect alot more chips literally got 12 chips luckily we had starters so we were full at the end. Also shout out to Asad who sold the Dexter to me you could tell he knew what he was talking about and had a real passion when explaining, I thought he was the owner, he really looked after us! Would highly recommend.

Food was nothing special for the price

Since my one star review in 2016, this year I have visited them around 7 times with family and friends. They are the only restaurants in Leicester who understands how steak should be cooked thoroughly. I normally go for medium steak and always it has been spot on. My son tried medium to rare and it was as I mentioned proper medium to rare. The last review was about the service not the food but since then they have improved greatly in service as well. This justifies me visiting them 7 times already this year. Greatly improved atmosphere and always a great food..

Can’t recommend this place enough. The service was amazing.. shout out to the manager who went above and beyond. For starters we had the crispy chicken & bbq ribs which was delicious and mouthwatering The mains I had the ribeye steak sizzler with homemade coleslaw the steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. the mocktails were soo good I had two. This is now my new favourite place and our place to go too.

The thing that makes this restaurant special is the manager. He went out of his way to adapt menu items for one of our party who is coeliac/ gluten free and came to chat at the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied ( in addition to other staff that checked our food was ok once it arrived). Portions are large, presentation good. Some of our group weren't aware that the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol. We were respectful of this but wonder if there could be an option to bring your own wine? The staff and manager are a credit to the hospitality industry.

Delicious food. I now know what all the fuss about Steak is - chicken is so utterly bland in comparison! I grew up in Zimbabwe, so regularly had steak, but forgot how good it is. My nephew is a "steak perfectionist" and said taste and presentation was perfect. Definitely a place to consider when celebrating / want something special. Parking nearby isn't easy, but that applies to all the restaurants in this area.

Visited here from Birmingham as a group of 5 lads after being reccomend to us both the customer service and food was excellent... bbq ribs was especially tasty well worth the trip both the meal being delicious and very fair prices... thank you very much will come again soon

The owner is lovely. Was requiring access to a lavatory and allowed me to use it despite for customers. As a a result, I ate in this establishment. The food is nothing short of gobsmacking beauty. Originally, I came here last time and was not a big fan of food and think it was because was with a group. However, the chicken Caesar salad was delicious with salad that was fresh and crisp. The parmesan allowed one to hear the different flavours meld into one creating a beautiful melody. The lamb chops was succulent and oozed flavour.

Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great. Mainly there was terrible customer service and we had to request water 3 times before we received 3 glasses of water and she missed an order and blamed us for not ordering it even though she admitted she heard us. I found it quite unprofessional that there were 2 staff working and they both sat on a table and started eating pizza together whilst customers were waiting on orders to be made or waiting for the bill. The food wasn’t all that in my opinion but the dynamite prawns were better than the steaks we ordered. Beautiful restaurant and decor but a shame about the terrible customer service! Will not be returning!

This was a nice place with good vibes. Service is OK. They have a good mix of things on the menu from chicken to steaks. Their spicy aoili sauce is amazing 🤤 Parking is available on the street opposite. On average eith drinks you are looking to pay £40ph. I would recommend and go again. 👍🏼

The lamb on the lamb sizzler had a distinctive smell and this followed through on the taste it was gross. The sirloin was good but very fatty and you only get 6 chips with some tomatoes and rocket leaves. not worth the money. the toilets were dirty and seats broken. the service was very good and friendly. They also take card payments which is a positive. parking is a nighmare also

Me and my wife arrived late and Asad was such a gent. He let us enjoy our perfectly cooked, overly late night dinner and made sure we did not rush at all. This was my first time and now I will definitely be back. The staff was really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend Kobe Sizzlers to my friends and family.

Best steak i have ever had in Leicester 🔥

I hope the owners read this! Such a beautiful restaurant which serves good food but sadly the front of house team don't understand hospitality. As an owner of several restaurants I would request you to seriously look at the attitude of your management team. The night I dined it was approx 9.20. I finished my steak with was decent at 10pm. Table was cleared and then a weird thing happened. A waitress appeared at my table with a bill and card machine. Couldn't remember asking for my bill. I told her I wasnt ready to pay so she left the bill and went away 10 mins later the most senior person who was dressed in plain clothes (No uniform) cam etc take my payment. Weird since again I never asked to pay. I did want to order a tea but anyways I just paid. I sat there relaxing as there was still other customers there. At the stroke of 10.30pm a staff member turned the lights off. I thought it was someone's birthday and expected the staff to come out with candles on a cake, but no THIS WAS A SIGNAL TO TELL CUSTOMERS TO POLITLEY F OFF! What an absolute disgraceful way to treat paying customers. If that guy who took my payment is an owner or part owner he needs to change his career. This is nit hospitality, this is just stupidity. YOU DO NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS IN THIS MANNER. You politely tell them that you are closed now!

This place has always been my go-to for dynamite chicken and prawns. Like literally, they used to be the best in town. After almost a year, i decided to visit this place with my husband for a date night as I was craving their food. Only to be super disappointed. Both the prawns and chicken sizes have shrunk massively so you're basically eating lots of batter and sauce only. To the point that it gets sickening. I did complain so they did take the chicken back and bought it again, but I didn't see much difference still as small as anything. Its really sad because before you actually felt like you were eating chicken and prawns now it's all batter. Oily saucy batter! Which gets sickening. I actually couldn't finish it, not because I was full but because I started to feel sick of eating batter. Unfortunately I won't be visiting again as the standards have dropped. It nothing like how they first used to make it. Makes me sad how restaurants find any excuse to reduce their portion over quality of food. This dinner was supposed to be joined by another couple but they decided not to come as they did tell us the standards of this place had dropped which I didn't believe. I wish I did now. From the best place for dynamite they are the worst. I can't explain how annoyed and disappointed I am! Like you want to feel like you eating chicken, you want to taste prawns not a huge lump of oily batter!

Each time we come to Leicester we always pop into Kobe Sizzlers. They are my favourite steak restaurant, the flavours and quality are always consistent each time we visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and service is prompt. My usual is the Dexter medium ribeye steak with triple cooked chips and peppercorn sauce, always cooked perfectly! Thank you guys. Can’t wait for my next visit.

First time I travelled down to visit Kobe, as I usually go to the one in Moseley in Birmingham. I’ve been wanting to try the original one out for ages and I will certainly not be coming back again that’s for sure. The place is very outdated, the decor is so 2009, food was alright, staff were decent and oh yeah don’t use the toilet, there’s no toilet seat and no hot water to wash your hands. You have two restaurants and you cannot afford a toilet seat? This is so embarrassing!😳

Went for Iftar. The food was generally tasty and the service was absolutely great. My only issue was that my food was cold when it arrived but that might be because it was Ramadan. I got the pulled beef burger and because it contained coleslaw, I couldn't ask for it to be reheated. It was a BBQ flavour but a bit spicy which I wouldn't normally expect from something BBQ flavoured. Anyway generally speaking I had a good experience.

Could smell burning in the restaurant while eating really spoilt the experience, also the mushroom sauce tastes like diluted gravy with mushrooms in it. The food on the hot plate was burnt from one side and you could taste the burnt smell in the food. Very disappointed with the experience. Do not recommend!

I had my birthday Dinner at Kobe Sizzlers. The food was fantastic and the service was too good. We had chicken dynamites and chicken steaks and all of them was delicious.

Things were going good. Food was decent, service was decent. After my table was cleared, out of no where a waiter comes with the bill and a card machine? Even though I never asked for the bill and the table next to me were still eating. Eventually at exactly 10.30pm the staff turn the lights off. I have never ever been in a restaurant where they've been so rude! If you want customers to leave just politely go over and tell them that you're closed/closing now. It's not ok to charge customers £50 a head and then turn the lights off on them while they are at their tables. For that reason alone I doubt I'll be heading back anytime soon!

The service was excellent especially Kai who I nicknamed ’trouble’ they went above on beyond to be helpful… The starters was out of this world, the crispy chicken was cooked to perfection… the rib dropped off the bone… The mains we had the Dexter fillet beautiful cooked we asked for medium well done and it came like that…. Presentation perfect.. The sirloin sizzler came cooked has asked and was piping hot… The chicken steak sizzlers were also cooked to perfection… We asked for extra peppercorn sauce no humming or those looks… they gave them to us… The Manager looked after our every need… We had mocktails and tap water they kept refilling the tap water without fail… Overall a 11 out of 10… I will be going back again and again….

Upscale halal steakhouse. Excellent service. Good food. I had the mini burgers which were fantastic but with a little too much ketchup for my tastes. Tried some of my friend's medium rib eye which was cooked to perfection. However, not sure about noodles as a side for steak. Did not seem to go together at all but each to their own... 😊

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Leicester. I bring all my friends and family to this awesome restaurant with the best sizzling steak menu and the best customer service in an ambience of nasheeds. I’d personally recommend the crispy prawn, sizzlers and the strawberry daiquiri. They never disappoint each time!

I had come down with my family after a long day of fasting to try this place out and it’s safe to say we will definitely be returning back here. The service was absolutely amazing. Our server, Amaan was really welcoming and treated us with great respect he was nice and was helpful when we were deciding on what to order and when we were eventually served our food, our mouths just began to water, the food was really delicious. Thank You to Amaan and to the individuals who made our food.

Recently went to Kobe’s sizzlers! Twice in a month! Ordered : sirloin steak with Schezwan sauce, rice and chips! Excellent portion of serving. The only drawback of sizzling right in front of you makes you cough and teary! But you can always ask them to sort that out in the kitchen and then bring it to you :)

My experience at Kobes was something that would want me to come here time and time again. The food I ordered (sirloin sizzler) was made to perfection and the service was amazing as well. Amaan was an especially outstanding employee of theirs and made me feel very comfortable being there always checking in on me and others and making the place seem a lot more lively as well. Definitely coming here again

Went on Sunday just before closing. Service was impeccable. My friend accidentally ordered something with coleslaw and didn’t realise. Called the waiter and asked to order another one without coleslaw. Didn’t charge for the original on the bill.

We had ordered chicken steak sizzler , rib eye steak sizzler , beef sandwich . Chicken steak was dry , nothing special , the noodles that was with the chicken sizzler was just boiled and slammed on the sizzler plate , no seasoning whatsoever. When brought into notice to the staff merely told the sauce that came with the steak would have been enough. They neither could add some sauce or replace it with anything instead gave us Shezuan sauce , which didn’t help. The rib eye was meh, mediocre at best . Nothing special there as well. The sandwich was okay. The meat was cold . Not sure if it was meant to be like that . I would not recommend this to anyone.

Went as a group of 4 tonight, and we were all very impressed. Warm cosy place to eat, clean, nice ambience, all very important not just the food. Food itself was exceptional, in particular the starters such as crispy chicken and bbq ribs. Crispy chicken was made to perfection. Steak and burgers all high quality. We were asked if food was good a couple of times so they care about customers feedback. Will most definitely be returning.
