Nice food, polite staff, a bit expensive but not super expensive. My kids live the noodles

The owner is lovely. Was requiring access to a lavatory and allowed me to use it despite for customers. As a a result, I ate in this establishment. The food is nothing short of gobsmacking beauty. Originally, I came here last time and was not a big fan of food and think it was because was with a group. However, the chicken Caesar salad was delicious with salad that was fresh and crisp. The parmesan allowed one to hear the different flavours meld into one creating a beautiful melody. The lamb chops was succulent and oozed flavour.

Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great. Mainly there was terrible customer service and we had to request water 3 times before we received 3 glasses of water and she missed an order and blamed us for not ordering it even though she admitted she heard us. I found it quite unprofessional that there were 2 staff working and they both sat on a table and started eating pizza together whilst customers were waiting on orders to be made or waiting for the bill. The food wasn’t all that in my opinion but the dynamite prawns were better than the steaks we ordered. Beautiful restaurant and decor but a shame about the terrible customer service! Will not be returning!

This was a nice place with good vibes. Service is OK. They have a good mix of things on the menu from chicken to steaks. Their spicy aoili sauce is amazing 🤤 Parking is available on the street opposite. On average eith drinks you are looking to pay £40ph. I would recommend and go again. 👍🏼

The lamb on the lamb sizzler had a distinctive smell and this followed through on the taste it was gross. The sirloin was good but very fatty and you only get 6 chips with some tomatoes and rocket leaves. not worth the money. the toilets were dirty and seats broken. the service was very good and friendly. They also take card payments which is a positive. parking is a nighmare also

Me and my wife arrived late and Asad was such a gent. He let us enjoy our perfectly cooked, overly late night dinner and made sure we did not rush at all. This was my first time and now I will definitely be back. The staff was really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend Kobe Sizzlers to my friends and family.

This place has always been my go-to for dynamite chicken and prawns. Like literally, they used to be the best in town. After almost a year, i decided to visit this place with my husband for a date night as I was craving their food. Only to be super disappointed. Both the prawns and chicken sizes have shrunk massively so you're basically eating lots of batter and sauce only. To the point that it gets sickening. I did complain so they did take the chicken back and bought it again, but I didn't see much difference still as small as anything. Its really sad because before you actually felt like you were eating chicken and prawns now it's all batter. Oily saucy batter! Which gets sickening. I actually couldn't finish it, not because I was full but because I started to feel sick of eating batter. Unfortunately I won't be visiting again as the standards have dropped. It nothing like how they first used to make it. Makes me sad how restaurants find any excuse to reduce their portion over quality of food. This dinner was supposed to be joined by another couple but they decided not to come as they did tell us the standards of this place had dropped which I didn't believe. I wish I did now. From the best place for dynamite they are the worst. I can't explain how annoyed and disappointed I am! Like you want to feel like you eating chicken, you want to taste prawns not a huge lump of oily batter!

Best steak i have ever had in Leicester 🔥

Each time we come to Leicester we always pop into Kobe Sizzlers. They are my favourite steak restaurant, the flavours and quality are always consistent each time we visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and service is prompt. My usual is the Dexter medium ribeye steak with triple cooked chips and peppercorn sauce, always cooked perfectly! Thank you guys. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Things were going good. Food was decent, service was decent. After my table was cleared, out of no where a waiter comes with the bill and a card machine? Even though I never asked for the bill and the table next to me were still eating. Eventually at exactly 10.30pm the staff turn the lights off. I have never ever been in a restaurant where they've been so rude! If you want customers to leave just politely go over and tell them that you're closed/closing now. It's not ok to charge customers £50 a head and then turn the lights off on them while they are at their tables. For that reason alone I doubt I'll be heading back anytime soon!

I had my birthday Dinner at Kobe Sizzlers. The food was fantastic and the service was too good. We had chicken dynamites and chicken steaks and all of them was delicious.

Went for Iftar. The food was generally tasty and the service was absolutely great. My only issue was that my food was cold when it arrived but that might be because it was Ramadan. I got the pulled beef burger and because it contained coleslaw, I couldn't ask for it to be reheated. It was a BBQ flavour but a bit spicy which I wouldn't normally expect from something BBQ flavoured. Anyway generally speaking I had a good experience.

Could smell burning in the restaurant while eating really spoilt the experience, also the mushroom sauce tastes like diluted gravy with mushrooms in it. The food on the hot plate was burnt from one side and you could taste the burnt smell in the food. Very disappointed with the experience. Do not recommend!

The service was excellent especially Kai who I nicknamed ’trouble’ they went above on beyond to be helpful… The starters was out of this world, the crispy chicken was cooked to perfection… the rib dropped off the bone… The mains we had the Dexter fillet beautiful cooked we asked for medium well done and it came like that…. Presentation perfect.. The sirloin sizzler came cooked has asked and was piping hot… The chicken steak sizzlers were also cooked to perfection… We asked for extra peppercorn sauce no humming or those looks… they gave them to us… The Manager looked after our every need… We had mocktails and tap water they kept refilling the tap water without fail… Overall a 11 out of 10… I will be going back again and again….

Upscale halal steakhouse. Excellent service. Good food. I had the mini burgers which were fantastic but with a little too much ketchup for my tastes. Tried some of my friend's medium rib eye which was cooked to perfection. However, not sure about noodles as a side for steak. Did not seem to go together at all but each to their own... 😊

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Leicester. I bring all my friends and family to this awesome restaurant with the best sizzling steak menu and the best customer service in an ambience of nasheeds. I’d personally recommend the crispy prawn, sizzlers and the strawberry daiquiri. They never disappoint each time!

I had come down with my family after a long day of fasting to try this place out and it’s safe to say we will definitely be returning back here. The service was absolutely amazing. Our server, Amaan was really welcoming and treated us with great respect he was nice and was helpful when we were deciding on what to order and when we were eventually served our food, our mouths just began to water, the food was really delicious. Thank You to Amaan and to the individuals who made our food.

My experience at Kobes was something that would want me to come here time and time again. The food I ordered (sirloin sizzler) was made to perfection and the service was amazing as well. Amaan was an especially outstanding employee of theirs and made me feel very comfortable being there always checking in on me and others and making the place seem a lot more lively as well. Definitely coming here again

Recently went to Kobe’s sizzlers! Twice in a month! Ordered : sirloin steak with Schezwan sauce, rice and chips! Excellent portion of serving. The only drawback of sizzling right in front of you makes you cough and teary! But you can always ask them to sort that out in the kitchen and then bring it to you :)

Went on Sunday just before closing. Service was impeccable. My friend accidentally ordered something with coleslaw and didn’t realise. Called the waiter and asked to order another one without coleslaw. Didn’t charge for the original on the bill.

We had ordered chicken steak sizzler , rib eye steak sizzler , beef sandwich . Chicken steak was dry , nothing special , the noodles that was with the chicken sizzler was just boiled and slammed on the sizzler plate , no seasoning whatsoever. When brought into notice to the staff merely told the sauce that came with the steak would have been enough. They neither could add some sauce or replace it with anything instead gave us Shezuan sauce , which didn’t help. The rib eye was meh, mediocre at best . Nothing special there as well. The sandwich was okay. The meat was cold . Not sure if it was meant to be like that . I would not recommend this to anyone.

Went as a group of 4 tonight, and we were all very impressed. Warm cosy place to eat, clean, nice ambience, all very important not just the food. Food itself was exceptional, in particular the starters such as crispy chicken and bbq ribs. Crispy chicken was made to perfection. Steak and burgers all high quality. We were asked if food was good a couple of times so they care about customers feedback. Will most definitely be returning.

Ordered sirloin, sliders, classic burger and crispy chicken. Sirloin: served on a bed of rice as part of heap of mess I’ve never seen before. Meat was fairly average. Presentation was terrible. Classic burger - dry burger, hardly any flavor. Sliders: awful, tasteless burgers. Crispy chicken: oily batter - you needed a glass of coke to remove the grease in your mouth - like eating a kebab. In summary - so disappointing. For a place specializing in steak - this is so far behind the curve. No second visit and certainly not recommended.

We also took food home because of how amazing the food is. fell ill 2 days after 24/2/24, got hospitalized and they confirmed that there was bacteria in a meat that I had. The only meat I had the entire week was a steak from here! will be hearing from me!

Came here last weekend, firstly the glasses that were served had lipstick stains all over, the cutely was wrapped around in hair. When I told the waiter he didn’t even apologise! 2 days later I got a very high temperature, diarrhoea and non stop vomiting to the point I had to be hospitalised!! Blood tests and stool samples have confirmed it was contaminated meat. I have been in hospital for almost a week now and will be here a couple more days because of how severe this food poisoning was from this place! Avoid at all costs!!

I recently dined at Kobe Sizzlers and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The Dexter sirloin I ordered was unusually chewy, and despite specifying no salad and tomatoes due to allergies, my request was overlooked, significantly impacting my meal. Moreover, my Mrs requested her food on a plate, which was ignored, arriving in a Sizzler instead. Surprisingly, the restaurant was nearly empty, making the errors more perplexing. The response from the staff, a simple apology, lacked empathy and fell short of acknowledging the inconvenience caused. Regrettably, I won't be returning, and I hope the owner considers the importance of customer experience and empathy in rectifying such situations.

Had a wonderful dining experience at this spot. The steaks were exceptionally delectable, and the mocktails provided a refreshing touch. The minimal waiting time added to the overall satisfaction. The impeccable service from both the staff and the manager deserves commendation. Highly recommended for a refined dining atmosphere.

Travelled down to Kobe Sizzlers after hearing some good words. The service was very good if i must be honest. However the food was probably the worst food we have ever gone out for. I’ve never been to a place and have just had the chips and left everything else on the plates. The starters were also just very plain. We had mentioned we had not liked the food and they just said sorry. Sorry is not enough you couldn’t pay me to eat this kind of food. The waiter had also told us not to get certain items as she thinks it is very ‘dry’. I really hope owners can take this on board to improve this place as the food was shockingly bad. I must say it did ruin our evening out.

Amazing! Went for a dinner and the atmosphere is nothing but brilliant. The staff were very friendly and professional, keeping service to a high standard. We tried their crispy king prawns for starters and my word, they were lush! Full of flavour with a nice saucy coating. For mains, I went for a Dexter T-bone steak and did it look good! Extremely juicy with nice complementary sides. Definitely recommend going to this place for a good dinner out. This place is halal.

Went a good few years ago and the meal was okay. Went again few weeks ago and I ordered the Philly cheese steak which was amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection and the ciabatta was toasted and layered with rocket and caramelised onions and everything went really well together. The chips were fresh and triple fried and were absolutely delish! Will definitely come here again and recommend. The only down side was that it was very busy and loud

This was by far my WORST experience at a “steakhouse”. They took their time to get us seated which makes sense because it was Ramadan so, that didn’t bother me but that’s not the worst part… I was taking my friend out for a Iftar and received second hand embarrassment with the quality of service I received - the food took over an hour to arrive and we had to remind them multiple times about the starters I ordered and this was after I received my main course. Finally, when I received my whole order the incompetent staff couldn’t even bring steak knifes until I had asked (we had steaks in-front of us!) and by the time we started eating the food was cold. I didn’t quite mind the pricing the fact of the matter was that it was undeserved and so did the clueless and rude table next to us, who was just centimetres from us (as it was such a crammed seating area) notice and mentioned how our “table was neglected” which showed a lot. Funnily enough the manager wasn’t no where to be seen until taking the payment and was totally oblivious to the situation; I didn’t want any drama because it was our first meal of the day so I paid the amount I owed. It was clear to see that the manager couldn’t care about customer satisfaction but only how much he’s profiting of the business. I’m a big foodie but this place I would definitely NOT recommend!

I dined at Kobe Sizzlers yesterday and had a rather mediocre experience. The food left much to be desired, and unfortunately, the waitress was rude, consistently eavesdropping on mine and my friend's conversation. Additionally, when it came time to settle the bill, the process felt abrupt, with the card machine being slammed onto the table. Overall, it was not the enjoyable dining experience I had hoped for.

Went there this evening for the first time fantastic place amazing food good prices and definitely get your money's worth and staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful definitely going there again

We had some lamb lollipops for a starter and the lamb was just cooked to perfection!!! But the Dexter T-Bone steak was just absolutely gorgeous. The staff were absolutely brilliant and the atmosphere was as equally as brilliant. We all are definitely coming back very soon I can tell you!!!

Meat was tender and cooked well. Classic burger was delicious. Prayer area downstairs- staff were very accommodating. Family friendly, children are welcome. Service slowed towards the end as it became busier. No parking that we could see. We were lucky to find parking a street away.

We booked online 1st thinking it might be busy on a Friday night, it was very busy they didn’t ask about the booking, but the staff were very attentive. We all went for the steak sizzlers, one ribeye, one rump and one sirloin all cooked rare, all came with either rice or noodles and chips and a sauce, we all opted for peppercorn sauce. They didn’t serve alcohol which was a shock, but we soon got over that. The food came out very quickly considering how busy it was. When the food came out we didn’t ask for plates, which was a mistake as the food stayed very hot. The food was lovely and the steaks perfectly cooked to our liking. We would definitely come back for a return visit.

Terrible burned food and overpriced! Never again

First of shout out to that pony tail girl waiter, we told you about the NASA experience and your right it was a bit underwhelming. You get a 5 star for being nice. I would have given this 2/3 but I will stick to the 3 because the starter prawns were beautiful. Steak tasted average, not the biggest piece but it seemed OKish. Rest of the food, noodles, chips and vegetables were OK but were mega hot. The steak board plate was not good at all. Too high. You have lumped the steak on top of the noodles and everything else, there is no where to press down on your steak. Other places have flatter boards and more space. Bill came to about £100.

I normally go to Kobe for a decent steak I was appalled yesterday and never right reviews but I had to write this I ordered the fillet Dexter which arrived with burnt chips soggy rocket and no tomatoes !!! When I complained all I got back was sorry and then got sent 3 measly half cooked tomatoes on a plate !!! My mother said her steak tasted bitter and dad has diarrhoea today !!!! Genuinely disappointed and very unhappy

I’ve been working two days a week in Leicester since January 2023 and have worked my way round many of the city’s restaurants many of which are excellent. It’s taken me until late August to try Kobe Sizzlers out and I’ve left it too late as I finish up my current contract next week. I’m glad I’ve tried KS at least once . It is superb. The quality of the meat is as good as I’ve tried. Perfectly cooked and packed full of flavour. I had the lamp chops starter and T Bone Dexter main. The service and staff was excellent too. A must try.

Requested a table near the window due to uncles eyesight being poor. Bearing in mind the restaurant had just opened and there were plenty of seats near the window. The manager rudely stated that they are reserved even though there was only two of us. She continued to talk to us quite rudely and was very condescending. We requested to speak to the manager and she said that she is, however shortly after she said if we would like to management there are contact details on the door, all whilst continuing to be rude. We were very uncomfortable by this point and decided to leave which was unfortunate as we were looking forward to eating here. We’ll continue eating at Toros.

Ordered a medium tbone steak was unable to cut it so asked my husband to cut it he couldn't cut it either. Manager with blond hair in a headscarf was annoyed and border line rude at staff for getting something wrong. I felt so sorry for him as it was a big order and small mistakes r easily made. Prawn starters were nice as well all the sides but the steak was a massive let down and so we're rhe 6 mocktails we ordered. would never come back definatly wasn't worth the travel.

First of all we rang up to make a reservation and we couldn’t find parking so we can 15 mins late and they told us they only hold reservation for 10 mins and they had gaven our table away secondly the chicken steak had 0 taste no seasoning the chips were dry and the rice tasted like something anyone could cook

atmosphere is spot on food is spot on the fact this place is so pure is what brings me back everytime. it’s clean and makes toros look like a maryland everytime
