Jovial, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, Zack struck that rare balance of being professional while making us feel right at home. He anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive, offered spot-on recommendations, and had us laughing throughout the meal. He made what was already a great dinner truly memorable. If you’re looking for outstanding food served with heart and humour, Emre Smokehouse—and Zack—are not to be missed. A five-star experience all around.

Third time here and the food is amazing and staff is so nice. Special thank you to zakariya and jilpreet. today zakariya was my server and he was very attentive and kind - treated me like a friend and offered great service though being busy. Thank you so much Jilpreet helped our table our last two visits and is also very attentive and kind - always smiling at us and making sure we have everything from knifes, plates, sauces and teas and treating us kindly and even singing for us though being busy last time. Food is so nice my personal favorite is the starter dynamite shrimp which is not too spicy and not too crunchy just perfect. I had the tomahawk which came with a side of my choice and i loved it - tasted exquisite and was surprisingly tender. The drinks are also very nice i ordered a passion fruit and this was full of flavor and looked very nice too. Chocolate dome was amazingly presented with sauce being poured to us at our table. Atomosphree is very nice - being an old church the place is beautiful. Will return

Service is very disrespectful and disappointed I think the manager who wear black suits so wired. And the service also bad. Train new employees without teach them. So crazy. U have to teach them proper way before the come to customer. Worst

Went here for my Mum’s birthday, the atmosphere was amazing, it’s a beautiful place, the staff were the nicest and even brought out the cake for mum. The best steak I’ve had in a long time and the portions were great too. Memorable night out, would definitely come again.

We celebrated our civil ceremony yesterday at this wonderful restaurant, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We would like to give a special thank you to the manager, who is an absolutely amazing person. From the very beginning, communication with her was excellent. We first got in touch towards the end of March, and ever since, she has been incredibly supportive—answering all our questions promptly and helping us organise everything just as we imagined, including arranging the tables exactly how we wanted. A heartfelt thank you also goes to our waiter, Mohammed, who was truly outstanding. He was extremely professional, kind, and attentive throughout the entire evening. He checked in with our guests regularly to make sure everyone had everything they needed, and he did it all with such a calm and friendly manner. He was assigned to our party and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Without exaggeration, he is the best waiter I’ve ever come across. While all the staff at Emre are clearly very well-trained and professional, Mohammed truly stands out—our guests were full of praise for him too. The venue itself is stunning, and all of our guests were impressed not only by the atmosphere but also by the food, which was simply exceptional—top of the top, no introduction needed. firstly I would like to say out waiter zakaria made the experience a lot better .the decor is alright maybe a bit more decor would be nice but the fountain etc is really nice. I got the passion mock tail and we were a group of five I got the glazed ribeye and it was really good I got it with fries and it’s really good my friend got mozzarella cubes and I tried a few when I tell you they’re so delicious .out server was really nice joked around with us and was generally such a nice person who also was easy to strike a convo with honestly we got the brownie and zakaria was super mindful about how we wanted to reco4d it was so soft fudgy and overall so good honestly this place is amazing a bit pricey but super good

I had a fantastic dinner with my family The place is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made our experience special was the exceptional service. Jaida, one of the staff members, was simply outstanding. She greeted everyone with a genuine smile and treated us with such kindness and professionalism. Her positive energy and graceful presence made us feel at home, like a welcoming breeze that brightened the entire evening. She was attentive, polite, and always ready to help, making our visit unforgettable.

If you're looking for an authentic BBQ and steak experience, then you must try this place. Wood-smoked ribs, phenomenal burgers, dry-aged steaks cooked to perfection. The stuff you see on TikTok can all be found here. The meat was so tender and succulent, it will leave you craving for more... a must try for any carnivore in Leicester 🙌

It is a very beautiful and warm place to eat from. Homely with a tough of elegance. The food was tasty and the prices were affordable.

1st time at Emre and it's really really good experience all arround. The food was fantastic: Starter Mozzarella crunch 6/10 Main Ribs burger 10/10, Smokehouse platter 10/10 Side Chips 8/10 Desert chocolate dome 10/10 We also had coffee, tea and juices all which great. We were served by Gayda, Anya and delipreet ( sorry might of got the names wrong). The staff are very courteous, attentive and friendly, specifically sister Gayda. Because it's an old church, the layout and atmosphere is really great. Although it' end of March the place was slightly cold inside. Its not easy to park as there is no dedicated parking space, food took 45 min to arrive but I was perfectly happy to wait for it, I heard other customers arround us complain about their wait .. honestly the food arrived perfectly cooked, full of flavour and totally worth the wait. Highly recommend it, will be coming back again.

Great food! Some of the best cuts of meat I've ever had. Lovely venue too. Let down by slow service. Staff seem nice and friendly but lack awareness. Drinks took too long to arrive. Food was out quite quickly though. Found it quite difficult to grab someone's attention. Manager didn't even say anything to us as we walked out and he was stood right next to us not doing anything. Improve on service and you'll have a cracking restaurant

we waited over an hour for our food to come and it came cold. As the food was put down on our table they told us one of the dishes we ordered was out of stock and failed to mention this earlier. do not reccomended this place and definitely will not coming back.

Waited nearly 40 minutes for the starter to come out after ordering. And then we didn’t even get any break at all between starter and main course. The food was satisfactory, Not worth the Money that you are charged, The building is freezing cold you need a coat on whilst you’re eating to keep warm! Overall, the place is not what it’s hyped up to be, you struggle to park near the restaurant the area that it is located in is a s*** hole. Had quite high expectations and was disappointed . will not be returning

This is a lovely restaurant with really nice vibe and decor. Parking was hard to find in the area. The steaks, we ordered were cooked perfectly as requested, but sides were not so good. We ordered creamy mushroom and spinach for one of the sides, it tasted more creamy and hardly any mushrooms or spinach in it. Also, the vegetables were over cooked and stale. The waiters were nice and friendly but the service was slow, we had to request for items twice. Sometimes, we felt ignored. And they were not that busy. When our main course arrived, we were told the plates are hot and to be careful, but the steak and vegetables were room temperature. Overall, it was okay and we had a good time.

The best steak ever I have had in my life from a restaurant. I went with some friends and we travelled from out of Leicester so that'll tell you all you need to know. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare and oh boy it was cooked to perfection 👌 as well as the maple chicken starter that was peng. Will definitely be back in the future for more fixings.

Absolutely awesome evening, enjoyed the choice on the menu, being talked through the cuts of meat by the staff, the hospitality and attention was spot on. The steak was incredible! Food for every course tasted amazing but the steak was melt in your mouth full of flavour. Hands down best steak ever had. Lovely venue. The only smallest of small details that would make the experience even better was it was little cool in there despite heaters dotted about and although nice chilled music it was repetitive, neither of these would put us off going again and recommending to family and friends.

We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary here and it was a lovely experience. Hospitality and service was great, waiters very attentive. We had the lamb chops followed by the sirloin and T-bone steaks. Cooked to perfection and really tasty! Although I was a little disappointed at the size of our sides, veg medley was very much just carrots and greens with one sprig of broccoli. Overall it was delicious so no complaints. The man in charge gave us complimentary Turkish tea and a little chocolate note to say happy anniversary- this was so thoughtful and we were so touched. Amazing first time we will definitely be back again

Food was pretty good, took a while to get to us but our lovely waiter Zak was extremely apologetic and attentive, excellent service. Dessert was delicious, best baklava around and probably the most authentic tasting. Would recommend.

Disappointing experience, wouldn’t recommend The experience at this steakhouse was quite disappointing. The restaurant is set in a renovated former church, which might appeal to some, but I personally found the atmosphere cold and uninviting. On top of that, it was extremely cold inside, making it quite uncomfortable. Another downside: although the restaurant opens at 5 PM, we were told upon arrival that the kitchen would not be available for another 30 minutes. This should have been clearly mentioned at the entrance or on their website. It felt unprofessional and was a waste of time. We left without eating. Overall, not a place I would return to.

Visited Emre last week for a meal and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, we ordered sirloin/fillet and had chocolate dome for dessert all of which were delicious. Our waiter was excellent and very attentive & friendly. The building and decor is stunning but due to it being an old church it was a bit chilly (the only downside).

La comida pedida llegó rápidamente, elegí la pasta, ya que no soy un gran comedor de carne, esta era pasta empapada demasiado cocida con nada más que pasta. Mi marido eligió el bistec al que ni siquiera podía cortar pensó que esto puede deberse a que ni siquiera le dieron un cuchillo de bistec, sin embargo, no creo que una motosierra hubiera sido mejor para decirle esto a un camarero de nuevo nos advirtieron que un gerente vendría a lo largo de su respuesta fue ¿quieres que se cocine más, lo que es totalmente absurdo? La decoración es increíble, pero esto está lejos de un restaurante de carne y no tiene conexión con el pavo en cualquier caso, ya que no vi 1 camarero turco chefs o cualquier conexión con el pavo en absoluto

I finally had the pleasure of dining at Emre Steakhouse, and all I can think is—why didn’t I come here sooner? I was invited a long time ago but kept putting it off, and after experiencing it firsthand, I deeply regret not going earlier. From the moment my friend and I stepped inside, I was blown away by how beautiful the place was. The warm lighting, stylish décor, and elegant atmosphere made it feel both cozy and upscale at the same time. It’s the kind of place that immediately makes you feel like you’re in for a special experience. And then there’s the food. Wow. Every bite was perfection. The steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every side dish complemented it perfectly, and just when I thought I couldn’t be more impressed, the desserts arrived. The baklava was pure heaven in all the right ways. What really made the night special, though, was the incredible service. The staff was genuinely friendly, making sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. The manager even came over to check in on us, and you could tell he truly cared about the experience of every guest. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality these days, and it made all the difference. I left Emre Steakhouse feeling completely satisfied—but also a little annoyed at myself for not coming sooner! If you’re thinking about going, don’t make the same mistake I did. Just go. You’ll thank yourself later.

Firstly i really need to get this of my chest, me and my wife always go out once in a while, got recommended here by friends. We got greeted by the friendly staff like really welcomed, they were so sweet, the food price absolutely worth it, from cold starters to warm starters and even main dishes, had nearly everything and the bill only came to £90. Yes it sounds expensive but believe me every penny was soo worth it. The food had to give it to the guys it was 10/10 only bad thing was the steak and it just had few fats and wasnt removed properly but hey it still tasted great. The drinks were refreshing and the staff did suprise us at the end with a cake (it was our anniversary) overall we had a great experience and for sure we will be back thank you ever so much ❤️

RUDE/UNPLEASANT Arrived at 7:15 ordered by 7:30 received the food by 9:30 was cold and had to be sent back due to not being what I ordered service was slow and rude never asked if the food was okay and when told they had missed items I was told I never asked for them this has to be the worst place I have ever been in Leicester and should be ashamed of how they handled customer service and as for the management they need to be sacked this was my little sister birthday meal and was left in tears I will never recommend or come back to this establishment

Absolutely amazing and fully halal. No alcohol sold on site. Every item was delicious and the food cane very quickly. The space is beautiful and the service was incredible, Mohammed and Mandeep were so lovely!!!!

First time I came it was horrendous. I then came about 3 months ago and I was very impressed. Although it’s not the cheapest and certainly not value for money, it was something different and I enjoyed it. I visited today, I called and booked a table for my family. On arrival I was advised that the heating had blown and some seats were not available. I really wish I walked out then as it was freezing in there. I ordered a T bone medium to well. It was served alive. Not even rare, not even raw, it was still breathing (see pics). I complained and waiters said they’re sending someone but no one came. I ate what I could as it went cold and had diarrhoea the next day with a vengeance.

Really amazing atmosphere inside the restaurant. Really nice decor and really peaceful too. Service is excellent as well and you will have a good time. The starters were definitely a big highlight. The mozzarella cubes were really good, and the prawns too. Mains were good as well but nothing stood out in particular. Steaks were cooked decently enough and were enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend the tiger shrimp unless you really enjoy it. One thing that could definitely be worked on are the mocktails. Alot of potential to put some research in and make them much better and higher quality. Overall, definitely worth a visit!
