Harvester in North East Derbyshire

I went out with my family for my birthday meal and had Hannah as our server. She was super friendly, and was very accommodating to my nan with alzheimer’s which meant a lot to all of us. There’s no area I could fault Hannah, she was brilliant, and loved my jumper!

Well what can I can say about Hannah ! Absolutely perfect . Harvester ypu are very lucky to have such a incredible member in your team .. Hannah was so kind.. We were having a family meal to celebrate my daughters birthday . Nothing was to much trouble . Hannah you are a star 🌟.

Booked online. Table was reserved but was dirty, chicken bones on the floor and crumbs on the table. The place was cold. Orders took 10/15 minutes for drinks which is quite a while when there are 2 children in the group. Food orders took another 15 minutes. Food was about 20 minutes more. Not the best food, salad bar was just the dregs of what was left...soggy cucumber 🤢 to name 1. Chicken was OK, burger was edible. The bread rolls were like rocks!! The toilets were awful....talk about sticking to the floor!!! This is definitely not what we experience in Carmarthen.

Nice meal this evening, like the new menu and glad to see still have the salad bar, table of 4 and food all came in reasonable time, waitress Grace looked after us well and chef Megan did a good job with the food

Awesome, friendly service, the food arrived quickly and was really good quality. Our server Hannah was amazing and helpful. I’d definitely recommend to others and will definitely come back in the future.

The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and we always experience good service from Frankie and the team. Food as always was also very good and tasty. Chefs were Charlie and Alfie.

Ricky was a great waiter and the food my May was delicious. Thank you. The kids had a great time. When we asked to refill the croutons they were very quick. The kids came out with a sugar high which shows a successful visit. 🍰

The Harvester food & service was excellent. But unfortunately we were 20 minutes late back from our evening out, having had a meal & movie (movie was 3 hours long, Harvester was busy & we got a parking ticket for £60, we appealed & it was rejected. We will never visit this leisure area again

A lovely lady called Leigh took our order and brought us our drinks. Food was very nice I had the dirty bird burger and it was delicious. Also unlimited salad bar beautiful would definitely recommend and will return

Lovely food, salad bar was nice and fresh, just had main courses which were good portions, our server was Frankie who was friendly and brought our food out quickly

Fantastic breakfast, the chicken and waffle was amazing but outshined by the wonderful service provided by Sarah. I'll be back ASAP for a cheery welcome and a delicious, well priced breakfast :)

Grace is amazing! She was absolutely lovely and very tentative and nothing we asked for was too much, the food was mediocre, although the goujons and the bottled bourbon sauce also the deserts was lovely we shall return and hopefully be served by her also!

Mothers day lunch was ruined at this restaurant. We booked for 2pm and turned up and were seated straight away, then no one came near us for 30 minutes in the end we asked a member of staff if we could order, 5 minutes later someone took our order. An hour later we had our starter only. We asked a member of the team again and were told it would be another 15 minutes. By 4pm we were ready to leave without our dessert when it turned up finally. The kids were bored so when the lady turned up with the bill, again after we asked, my partner politely said to the lady I think you need more staff on busy occasions like today. We were shocked by her reply, everyone who works here is on shift so that's just how long you need to wait. Food was average, service awful, needless to say our first and last visit. The kids were still hungry and we took them to the McDonald's drive through next door to get food before we headed home.

Came for meal for a date night, the food was very tasty, service was excellent and our server Chloe was great very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Chloe was lovely and really helpful to us. She was super chatty and made us feel incredibly welcome! The food was amazing, definitely coming back!

Visited today...1st time for several years. No half as good as it used to be. Sweetcorn was soft and watery and inedible. Half Chicken lovely though but not enough sauce. Chips dissapointing. Asked for a pint of doombar and got a 500mil bottle. No draft? Concerned about the salad bar. At 4.30 ish both dishes of the salads of those still available were combined. It meant that some salad will be on offer the whole of the day/evening. Surely the old stuff should go on top? Place as a whole looking old and tired. Not likely to want to revisit too soon!.

I previously reviewed breakfast here which was great but we had a meal here yesterday which was decidedly dodgy in places . Seemed very quite for a Friday night but the salad bar was a complete wreck literally empty , was like that at least 45 mins then when several diners had finished their mains it mystically got filled up. Someone even commented that they were filling it up late on and were they expecting to get busy and she said " I hope not ! " Food was barely warm especially puddings which were all bought out at different times not sure why , whoever is in charge of microwaving needs to stick another minute on at least ! Lady serving was ok but felt like she'd rather we weren't there and she seemed annoyed that we weren't leaving after the mains . Drinks were served upon arrival but nobody asked if anybody wanted anymore . Probably wouldn't go back for an evening meal unless someone else was paying 🤣

On our first outing to this harvester Leigh our server looked after us during our visit good food will definitely be returning

We decided to eat here on the 31/1/24 for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. We was greeted at the door and taken to our table by Leigh would was very polite and attentive thought out our meal . She arrived with out bowels for the salad bar and our drinks . Food arrived very quickly we had the two course for 12.99 I had nachos and the chicken hubby had garlic mushrooms and the burger. A great family restaurant for a family meal out. The good was great quality and the service was great too. The salad bar was also amazing and the tolkets were of nice standards. All in all, great place.

The food was really nice, the burger ‘The dirty one’ was very meaty and the cheese sauce was really nice. The mixed grill was really nice too and all meats good perfectly. Our server was Fern who was a really polite and helpful all the way through our visit. This was a visit for a first date and the mix of the atmosphere and the food was perfect.

We always have a great time at Harvester Chesterfield. Been coming here since our daughter was tiny! The staff never fail to make us feel welcome, and the food is always lovely. Fern was super friendly tonight, and made our visit a lovely one - we came to celebrate a smashing parents evening for our five year old!

We've been for our evening meal tonight and as always we've received 5☆ service, Chloe was amazing from start to finish service with a smile and she's very pleasant, will always make sure food allergies are a top priority aswell. Brandon was our chef tonight and everything was cooked beautifully, the calamari was cooked to perfection as was all the other food we recieved

Great late lunch for a birthday. Frankie was our server. She was very patient with our birthday lad who has SEN. Quick service , menu options explained very clearly. Food arrived quickly, was hot and cooked perfectly. I believe the chef was called Andy. Very enjoyable experience and reasonable price. Only negative is the price of soft drinks.

Called in for breakfast to break the journey. The choices were very varied. I chose a large breakfast and perhaps wish I’d had a normal one. My scrambled eggs were quite cold. None the less the rest was better than ok.
