Went yesterday had steak it was very small and chewy with a spoon full of peas and no word of a lie 5 chips on the plate it was outrageous u just couldn't believe my eyes just had to laugh at what they served up my partner had the mixed grill and was exactly the same think he only ha 4 chips lol 😆 😅 🙃

Only our second visit but leaving full and happy once again. Seated quickly, food was spot on, wasn’t too noisy, music was acceptable (not to my taste but it’s gotta be as inoffensive as possible) Literally the worst thing about the visit was that I was too hot. But that’s my own fault rather than any of the staff. I could have asked not to be sat next to the radiator, I didn’t. Can’t deduct marks for my own lack of action :)

The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, Steven was polite and welcoming with a smile. He ensured we was seen to, the bar lady ensured all flexibility for food and managed to ensure gluten free options were met. The kitchen took care to ensure all gluten free food was served first and ensure we had food at a good pace. Small issues but all manageable by the team. The food was fresh and tasty, I enjoyed the burgers and chips, they even got some.chillis to add a twist for myself. Toilet facilities clean and tidy no issues, drinks served well with new flavours (Cherry and Vanilla).

Great food came for morher day lovely service

Really busy with football on and Mothers day groups eating and drinking, but made no difference to service, quality of food or atmosphere. Food came out so quick and was amazing even though there was eight of us. Really great value will be returning soon. Well done to all the staff, awesome job!

It used be lovely but now it gone down hill

Crap food, poor service and definitely not hungry horse potion sizes. Very disappointed overall. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

I visited this restaurant and I will not be returning again. I attended with my family for an evening meal. We chose to sit in the conservatory area as I had young children and the bar area was more busy. We got seated and chose our order. When food arrived, I began to feel uncomfortable in my seat. I moved and to shock horror found that my jeans were wet through. I had sat on a chair that was saturated in urine. Absolutely disgusted, I stood up and quite literally was put off my food straight away, and the evening was ruined. I felt sick, and wanted to go home as soon as possible. I am extremely upset by this situation and very annoyed. This should never happen when visiting a restaurant, and quite frankly is an extremely disgusting situation to be in, let alone an hygiene environmental issue.

Good service and value for money for food.

Food cold sent back twice, and then was ridiculed by the patronising waitress saying that medium rare steak is supposed to be served cold!! Will not return. I prefer hot fresh food . The whole experience was awful. Update much improved. But played it safe and ordered differently this time. Apart from chicken being a bit dry rest ok very good value for money . Rated much higher this time !!

Great food, good service, food is usually fairly quick to arrive.

Polite staff, quick service. Unfortunately the wrong meal was bought to our table, soon rectified though, a little disappointed with the small amount of food on the plate and no tartar sauce available. The gents toilets didn't seem very clean and smelt of urine, which seemed to be the norm unfortunately , judging by other reviews complaining about the smell.

Cracking menu here with with different combinations of food you don't see in other places so I'll definitely be back as there plenty on the menu I would like to try the food I had today was really really nice the prices there are really good aswell I'd definitely recommend this place

Good food and service and value for money but the ladies toilets are horrible. Seats and door locks broken, dirty and smells awful.

Great pub, will be back for food. Because it smelt great!. I've came back to try the food on a Tuesdsy. Was a deal and food was great. A few people here, food came out hot, tasty and quick. The crown of burger was fun

Great bar & resturant, eat here regulary, went for the wifes birthday meal and everyones food was amazing apart from the wifes, steak was undercooked, however, The waitress, Tracey, resolved our issue promtly & proffessionlly and made us soon forget about the steak, so a big thank you to your staff, especially Tracey!

We often pop in for lunch and have a fab time but today our waitress (Bec) really went above and beyond. She spent time chatting with our toddler and making sure everything she had was good for her. Bec's customer service skills are second to none. Thankyou very much for making our time here today so pleasant.

We just went for lunch with kids and we reserved a table but we didn't need to as there were plenty of tables available at this time and you have to order at the bar but your food and drinks, are brought to your table which arrived quickly and hot by smiling staff, so we were satisfied and we didn't feel rushed either. There is a garden area here for kids, but they are fine to accommodate kids inside also as the bar area and restaurant are divided.

Sunday lunch Superb, great price,

This is the Bubble and Squeak I have ordered. I tried to cut it open and it was very foamy. I doubt that Bubble and Squeak should have foam on and within it, but I am very much looking forward to coming again and having the king carvery.

When we arrived we got seated straight away and our food arrived in no time. Friendly checkbacks from the staff. And really great food.

Food was good, order came really quick, was quite busy which was nice. Just the toilets, there's a really strong smell of amonia

Good Food, Friendly staff, what else do you need ?!

We only wanted a light lunch so opted for a sharing platter with extra chips. The food arrived really quickly and was very nice. My hubby was struggling coming down the steps carrying a tray with drinks and one of the waitresses took the tray off him and brought it to our table. That is above and beyond and was much appreciated.

i've never been to the snipe before and the staff was really good, my server he was very polite and helpful and friendly thank his name was stephen. I would definitely recommend going there again
