Great food honestly was sensational, couldn't have asked for more from subway, they have too good chicken BbQ sandwich,great customer service.

Food is okayyyyy but they always get everything wrong and once they literally got my ENTIRE order wrong and I asked for a refund and nothing and it’s always cold

1) Understaffed, 1 person trying to make food/ use the till and sort online orders at the same time. 2) Ordered a sandwich & a salad, after I paid was told there were no forks. They actually expected me to eat the salad with my hands like an animal. Quibbled over the refund. This franchise is bad for the subway brand.

Wonderful placement in town, Zahid (the server) was polite, chatty and friendly. Moreover than I have experienced in other Subway stores! Checking if everything was alright with my food etc.

nothings ever available on just eat it it’s £20 now for a foot long meal which takes over a hour to come every time there late on delivery foods always cold and yet still can’t have hardly anything in stock. staff are useless need sacking what a piss poor performance from the team

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was microwaved instead of put in the oven. The result is I'm now eating chewy bread

Really nice place been to a few subways that are sub par with customer service so it was a breath of fresh air to get served by milen. He was attentive and made sure everything was sorted for us in a quick manor. Other sites in the midlands should take note.

We were passing through Ashbourne and stopped for dinner. Milen was very friendly and patient with us. The place was clean and tidy. Would recommend.

Not impressed in the slightest. Half the subs are unavailable, then when you order one they don’t put most the stuff you order on the sandwich. Asked for it toasted with cheese, got neither. Forgot half the order. Won’t bother again 😡

My Spicy Italian did the trick and met expectations. As per recipe, the sandwich contained a sordid volume of processed meat. This mother is for treats only, and intend not to become a habit.

When I am actually able to order and buy food from them, it is the normal subway sandwich I would expect. However almost half of the times I have made the trip over there, they have locked their doors before their closing time. On my last visit, I arrived at the shop at 6:30 pm and the doors were locked shut despite them advertising that they are open until 9 pm and a google search showed them as open as well.

Nice sandwich and muffin. Good range of ingredients and rolls for the sandwich. We went on the date of the Queen's funeral and it was the only food outlet we saw open.

If you like stale, inedible bread eat here. Service was sloppy and confused, will not be trying again.

Appalling delivery time we waited nearly 2 hours for our food to be delivered, the bread tasted and felt like it had started to go stale clearly been sat out for ages, shouldn’t offer delivery service! Not worth £37 at all!

Lovely friendly service. Glad to see this place open again. With everywhere else selling pizza, kebab and chips, it's nice to have the healthiest alternative. Clean inside and the food is fresh. Well worth a visit. Even if it's just for those scrumptious cookies.....

If you haven't had chance to use the app during lockdown, get it open before leaving the house as it was really hard work getting it to open again.

Staff told us to order online and had the door locked before there closure time, so went online and ordered through the subway app and click for that store, but then after placed order found it had been sent to another store millages away, so the app says to contact the store to arrange a refund, but store says no, either way out of pocket. Ashbourne store did do the sandwiches we wanted but why couldn't they have done this over half an hour earlier! And it cost more than double and got no points on my Subway rewards card, Never going to use the app ever again or the Ashbourne store as staff telling my kids a load of rubbish, and then lie to manager, and despite advertising on windows to use the app they don't use, so why tell us to order through the app?? Stress levels through the roof now, so much for having a treat and stress free lunch! Extremely disappointed

The food was disgusting. They got our order wrong and we will definitely be not going there again. It was a disgrace

Oh. My. Goodness. Worst customer experience I've had anywhere. From entering the shop (with three customers ordering simple things in front of us), it took over twenty minutes for us to be served, and a further ten minutes to receive our sandwiches. We had two hungry under 4s and very little communication from the staff which only made the situation worse. The people in front of us and behind us were equally as frustrated. After being huffed and puffed at by a member of staff who (eventually) served us via a catalogue of errors, we quite fairly aired our concerns. The processes in there just aren't good enough. Management needs to train the staff and ensure there's an adequate number of staff on shift. We were approached by a member of staff afterwards who apologised which we appreciated.

Depressing & Dismal. Only one member of staff serving at 1.50pm. Short on bread availability. A second member of staff eventually appeared but only as the queue was now out of the door. Shouted at for approaching the seating area as 'it was closed and not for sitting (!) in'. Both members of staff were short, sharp and gave a complete impression of not wanting to be there, and certainly not wanting to serve customers. Unfriendly at the most.

Really good service and excellent food

This review would be higher if it was not for the staff member behind the counter. She was wearing a mask but it was not covering her mouth and nose it was under her chin. This is unacceptable during the current situation when all staff are required to wear a mask and it is a legal requirement under the current Covid situation. This does raise the concern requiring their other health and safety requirements if they can't follow a simple rule of wearing a mask. I will not visit another Subway until Subway retrain their staff in Covid requirements.

Visited today and the owner is so miserable no customer service but the staff serving me was lovely thank goodness . Shame on the owner

Wouldn’t normally write a review for fast food. I’ve been here twice, waited quite a while to be served and both times they’d run out of the vegan options. Waste of time. Never had this issue any other subway. On top of that there were...

Excellent staff and friendly manager. They now even do deliveries via Just Eat. We ordered and our food came piping hot!! Good to see that they use PPE which is very assuring and offer contact free delivery. Will definitely order again.

Great selection of breads & fillings. Salads and other options available. Good range of drinks available. Suitable for kids / families Can get busy during lunchtimes due to local secondary school children but service is quick and efficient. Very friendly staff and a very clean unit. A lot better than some subways. Worth checking the closing times before visiting as it’s not open late into the evening like some city stores.

Been using this Subway for some time now and was always impressed with the quality and service however, it has recently changed ownership and you can tell !!!! Salads have virtually halved in size and they scrimp on ingredients now definitely cutting corners and not the same !

Subway, good for a quick feed, you know what it is, just convenience food. Not a patch on the Subway you experience in America, once you've been in one there and had handfuls of ingredients the measly four tiny slices of cheese (for example) just don't measure up.

Quiet for a cheap good cup of tea.

Went in 15/12/18 at lunch time. Nice sandwiches but quite rude staff. Was deciding which sandwich to have (shop was very quiet) and the young boy serving sniggered and said to the older server "it's ok take your time we've got all day !" All they were doing was standing there talking and not busy whatsoever so why the comment ?

Great store, great staff. The only problem with subway as a place is that they put milk in most of their bread, including the flat bread... Not sure the need for this!

Terrible food, no keto or allergy options. It's just a cold rebranded McDonald's, only eat it if you don't care what you put in your body.

Lots of cafes in Ashbourne are either too busy or give you a funny look if you walk in with kids. While this subway is feeding a mega corporate (ok, it's most likely owned by a local company as a franchise) service is good and the meals are great value. This one also gives good views of the main high street crossing.

Its been a few years since me and the wife have had a subway and its going to be a few more before we bother again. Staff need to realise that not all customers know how this service works and a bit of help along the way would have been nice instead of a distinctly poor customer interaction . Only the staff member on the till was helpful by explaining the deals available and thus sorting out what we really wanted.
