The best restaurants serving American food in East Midlands

This is a favourite restaurant of ours and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Food is always superb and the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. Look forward to the next visit.

Awful service. No one knows what there doing. Most staff sitting around on there phone with no idea how to work in hospitality

Used to stop regularly but won’t be stopping again, the patties used to be like home made what I got was 2 solid patties and average frozen fries (not skin on) the patties I swear came from green king, Witherspoon menu awful, a blue cheese burger that seemingly had a tiny dollop of liquid blue cheese, shake was good though

We visited Buddys on Saturday evening for my grandson Buddies birthday. My son had booked for the 4 of them, and I went online on Saturday to tag 2 more onto their booking. It all got a little confusing. I was really pleased when Lewis went out of his way to give me a call and sort it out. I explained it was a birthday, etc. When he found out my grandsons name was Buddie he said he would try and do something special for him. When we arrived, he had sorted a birthday balloon and some sweets for Buddie which was a lovely touch. The food was delicious and all the staff were very helpful. Lewis made sure we were looked after all evening and went out of his way to ensure that the birthday boy had enjoyed himself. He is an asset to your business.

This place is now called Bar Wan I would give ***** for food and *** for service On this occasion, when we arrived it was quiet, the staff were lovely, food ordered and arrived quickly, steaming hot and fresh. Food is amazing! Then. It got very busy with some large groups and the staff became way out of their depth! Couldn’t cope! Called for more staff to help. Eventually asked if we would like to order desserts (when we stood to pay) and thanked us when we said no. We got some gu puddings from Sainsbury’s (at £2.50 for 2) and ate them back at our hotel. I would visit again.

Best burger place in the area! We’ve been going to Propa Burger for months now and have had good food. Staff usually really polite and friendly. Much easier to go pick up rather than wait for delivery. Card payment machine needs to get back working as haven’t worked for months now but you can order online if need be! We do recommend this place to friends and family!

Have been visiting this place for half a century now, and witnessed its ups and downs. It's a rare survivor, but not in the best of health at present, andnow without any real idea of who its customers are. Beer still good though.

I’ve been going to frankies for years and it’s never failed to disappoint me! I’ve been going there since it was the wimpy and continued going because it’s just great! The owners are lovely and the food is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is also lovely. Highly recommend, best place to eat and my favourite place to eat

Mi hija y marido habían estado en Mollis y les gustó, así que nos trataron (entre otras cosas porque los hemos tratado previamente en Alchemilla, al lado!). Viernes por la noche, así que estaba ocupado, y es ruidoso. Servicio un poco lento, pero probs porque viernes por la noche, y no nos importó. La comida es casi como esperaba - muy buenas hamburguesas de hecho, y todos disfrutamos de nuestras selecciones. Sin embargo, estos no son particularmente grandes y definitivamente necesitas pedir algunos "lados" o te irás un poco hambriento. Todo muy sabroso, pero pronto se suma, especialmente con un cargo de servicio "discrecional" del 10 %. Eso espero del outfit principal de al lado, pero bastante inesperado de un outfit posicionándose como un "burger joint". Sin embargo, dudo que alguien razonable pueda decepcionarse por la comida. El pollo era extremadamente tierno y jugoso - no me sorprendería si hubiera sido salmuera, era tan bueno.

I've had a take away twice from here and the food is delicious very tasty good portions. Highly recommended .

Called here today Friday 22nd Sept 2023 having just got off the tram and desperate for a drink. Wasnt busy and just 1 person before me. It was a long wait for the coffee which was not good. It seemed they give priority to the chaps collecting food for delivery. Also tables too small for drinks and food .
