I’ve been going to frankies for years and it’s never failed to disappoint me! I’ve been going there since it was the wimpy and continued going because it’s just great! The owners are lovely and the food is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is also lovely. Highly recommend, best place to eat and my favourite place to eat

Have visited many times but not for a while must be 12 months. Seems the standard of the food has gone down plastic cheese in the toastie that's the cheese slices and it was more bread than cheese I have thrown away better salad that what was dished up most of it was Brown round the edges and very much past it's well by date. And not to cheap either. Only went there because the Rushden Cafe was full. Will I go again definitely not.

Nice small Diner happy friendly staff. Food best pizza in town reasonable prices.well worth a visit.

Been here a few times and always go with the kids. Food is always good, really friendly staff who make an effort and nothing is ever too much trouble. absolutely spotless, no complaints, my kids love it here. Great shakes too!

Disappointed as the menu looked alright but then it all seem to be just frozen food done, nothing was fresh, and quality was poor. Should have definitely been cheaper at least...We didn't come back here ever.

Go here on a fairly regular basis. The staff are always friendly, and the cafe is always clean and tidy. The food is very nice also. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

I have passed this restaurant many times on the A45 dual carriageway and I am sure that drivers are more concerned on the upcoming roundabout than going somewhere to eat. One of my sons suggested it for lunch and I must confess I wasn't too enthusiastic but I was pleasantly surprised the service was quick and efficient, the food tasty particularly the cheesy chips (watch your waist line) and the prices reasonable. Its definitely worth a try.

Overpriced food for what it is....they are pricier than other places around, and don't get me wrong I don't mind paying extra ig the quality matched the prices but I was disappointed to see it was all frozen food. We wouldn't come back here, not worth the money or the wait.

I would give this restaurant 5* for what it actually is tbh. It's a cheap and cheerful diner, not the best food I've ever had, but not the worst. The staff were friendly and efficient. I like the decor and would definitely visit again. It's a very cute cafe!

Never been in here before but I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were quick to serve, showed daily offer, bought my drink immoderately, food was nice, was offered different seasoning I the fries from plain, salt, smokey or spices, side salad vey fresh, very reasonably priced, nice menu, you can have waffles, pancakes or just coffee and a cake, a sandwich, jacket potato or a gourmet burger big choice of burgers! Stone bake pizza also on offer and this place has a license so you can have a glass of wine. Immaculate inside, family business, set out like an American diner! This place should be heaving it's really worth a visit!

Stopped in Rushden with the family and found Frankies on the high street. We had lunch there and the food was very good especially the nachos. The waitress was really nice and helpful and great with the kids. It was spotlessly clean and when the staff weren't serving they would be busy wiping down tables and 'walls'.. It isn't a gourmet restaurant but if you are looking for good quality burgers and alike then this is a great place to go.

My first visit to Frankies in Rushden . First class service and freshly cooked tasty food. All tables clean staff more than helpful. Piping hot coffee al last !!

My wife, daughter and I popped in for a bite to eat and the welcoming we received was second to none. We were acknowledged on arrival by the staff and all our needs were catered for with such professionalism. Also the food was fantastic.. Well done to the team

I took my three young kids in here for a treat, there was a problem as I wanted something slightly different to what's on the menu, was eventually accommodated. I guess it's a franchise so everything is rung into the till without variations, weird. Not great food although had worse, I guess it's ok for a breakfast or a cheap burger lunch. Everything is defrosted and reheated or deep fried, shame as if they got the food right it would be a nice little place, it's very very clean and comfortable.

Today was the first time my daughters and I had visited Frankies.. Had lived in Rushden for 6 mths, and yet somehow, I walked past it...and didn't really know it was there?? I feel so terrible....Very good value, a good choice of menu, and you don't have to wait long, and its nice to see your food being cooked..Great staff, want to make sure you are ok, and are friendly...I recommend it to all, but if you are on a slight budget, and want to treat the kids like myself, that is the place to go...As I said, very good value, as nothing really over a tenner...and you would spend that on a plastic burger, from Macdonolds...I live 13 miles away, don't drive, but would without a shadow of a doubt, make an effort to go there again...I worked in the food industry, and makes me a little fussy, and I always almost make complaints other places I have eaten, and my kids were shocked that I couldn't fault it in anyway...Also, VERY,,VERY CLEAN...Bright and cheery...

I don’t know about you but I’m sick of living in the UK and having to put up with terrible customer service !!! Well that’s just not the case with Frankie’s, the staff are really helpful and attentive. The food is exactly what is to be expected from this American type diner, its tasty and you get a good portion size for the money. Ask for the Cajun seasoning on chips... very nice.If you're a fussy eater then they can mix up the dishes to suit, again the staff are really helpful. Unlike many of the other cafes in Rushden this place does take cards, unlike the many who only accept cash (that's a massive bug bear for me as I bet half aren't paying TAX).We've had both Breakfast and lunch here, All in all a great little hidden gem in Rushden.

Had a lovely fry up with my Son yesterday, excellent friendly service. Great place to eat in Rushden.

We visited today with our two young daughters. We all had a lovely meal, the menu has plenty of choice and is great value for money. My youngest daughter had a high chair that was nice and clean and was offered to us straight away, she enjoyed sitting up close to the table. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, including the toilets. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, overall Frankie's is a lovely place to eat!

Good food would personally recommend their burgers and milk shakes. I believe they are also open a bit later then the high street timings!

I only pop in now and again with my daughter as she likes it, use to be The Wimpy. Food is always hot and freshly prepared and good old fashioned friendly, family service.

Food good but way over priced. Nice and clean breakfast ok. Preffered it when it was a wimpeys. The PIC and seating is really nice probly the best around RUSHDEN for a comfy seat

Never going there Again been feeling sick all night for my lunch there was no one in there The staff in there just kept watching as eat our food The waitress didn't give us a chance to order our food kept coming over every two seconds to ask if we was ready to order The roll and Burger bun was stale £6 for a hot dog that u can buy in the £ shop they offer Side orders and don't inform you that you need to pay extra for then they offered me spice on my chips and didn't tell me that it would cost 1 pound extra for them and there was more seasoning then potato The milkshake just come in a cup not a nice glass which you would expect from a American diner do not recommend this restaurant you will find nice food in the bin outside

Food was bland and overpriced. Customer service was not good. We felt uncomfortable as we were the only ones in there and felt that we was being watched.

I popped into Frankies with my mum. We only ordered a milkshake each but the staff didn't mind. I had chocolate and my mum had banana. There is lots of seating which is in a black and red theme. The walls have various American themed pictures. There looks to be a lot of choice on the menu and nothing looked overly expensive.

What a find!!!! For such a long time I have been trying to find an American style diner and Frankies ticks every box. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely be a regular here.

Food was excellent as was the service! Highly recommend this bar and resteraunt. Enjoyed this months promo.. It was lush! Can't wait for next months promotion!

Took my kids here for dinner after swimming, but wish I had saved my money. Ordered their original burger, and was persuaded to double up. One mouthful and I couldn't stomach any more. In addition mustard sachets were out of date. Despite barely touching my meal, and being asked how the meal was, got no offer of discount and was still charged full price. Obviously no interest in making up for such an awful meal, no idea how people have given the place 5 stars, can only assume friends of owner.

I'm quite a regular visitor to Frankie's, food is always nice, hot and quick to arrive.Staff are very polite and helpful.Place is always extremely clean.If I had one criticism it's being asked constantly if I want extra this and extra that! It's not just one question, it's followed by 5 or 6 did u want this? Do u want this? To add extra sales I know but please it's too much, tone it down.I was also a little confused on my last visit why I wasn't allowed to order just a burger no chips, I've always ordered without chips and been charged accordingly. This time I was told i had to have it with chips as it comes with chips and I would have to pay as such, fair enough if this had always been the case since new menu but it hasn't, and I'm just not a big eater.Always good food though and won't put me off visiting as usual

Great food, great service. Staff was lovely. Couldn't fault anything. I will definitely be returning! I think it's a great thing for the highstreet! Best place to eat in rushden!!

Myself and my husband went to frankies for a meal the other night. My husband had the chicken rib combo, I had the kentucky chicken. We both really enjoyed it which is saying something as I have an incredibly fussy husband. We are going back friday to try something else on the menu! I definitely reccomend you take your family to eat there.

The food was absolutely amazing! We were eating within minutes of arriving and the service was very polite and friendly! Couldn't fault it!

Not sure what the bad reviews were about because I can't complain about the food or the service. The staff couldn't be more friendlier and helpful. The food was hot and really tasty. I will most certainly be going back!!!

Would definitely recommend this as would all of my friends who I enjoyed a meal with this afternoon. The staff were very friendly and willing to make you feel welcome in the restaurant and the food was a 10/10 for taste and time to be cooked and brought to our table. I have no idea why bad reviews have been done for this place about them microwaving products, weatherspoons are full of microwaves! 100% best place to eat in Rushden is this restaurant

Lovely staff, great food and big portions. We have been multiple times, never had a bad experience. It's a shame to see bad reviews which considering they are on the same day, must be the same people I expect. I would say, give it a go. My fav is the special breakfast, so much so I had two in one day once lol

This is just what rushden has been asking for for years!!! Such a lovely atmosphere, the waiters couldn't be any more helpful and polite!! And obviously most importantly the food was absolutely delicious and such a generous portion!! Anyone who are bored of all the takeaways in rushden go here where you can sit down enjoy your meal and even have a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. Kid friendly!! And 5** for cleanliness Very happy and will be back soon :)

Would definitely recommend this place! i had a bbq burger wit fries and it was the best i have ever had. good to see they use 100% Beef to! and they have an open kitchen which i like because that way you can see it bein cooked and obviously they have nothing to hide. staff were friendly overall im a very satisfied customer. you'll be seeing me more often!

i had one of frankie's burgers with fries was more than impressed with the quality, size and service, it seems to be the only place cooking fresh food using 100% beef burgers, this beats any pub meal i have ever been to, its got quite an american feel/ theme an i loved it !!! all staff were friendly and helpful.will be seeing me again.

Was awful in there, the older man cooking was so rude to us and a young waitress with brown hair could not stop staring while eating, food arrived greasy ans just warm Would not go here again

I went to this cafe on recommendation, one I could have done without.I went for the special breakfast which essentially was the same as the large breakfast at any Wetherspoons, incidentally is costs 60p more at Frankies .I was half watching it being cooked & thought I saw the sausages, bacon, beans etc taken from the fridge & microwaved, basically only the eggs & toast were cooked fresh, as I got there very soon after it opened this had to have been cooked the day before.I made sure when the next customer ordered I would be watching the prep, sure enough I was right, virtually everything was precooked & microwaved.There is NO excuse for this practice.The sausages were cheap value things, tasting of rubber & pink, bacon hard from being in the micro.Never again it was disgusting
