Really great service, especially from Emily and Lauren

Food was very average, nothing special, slightly greasy, dry buns. The prices were CRAZY expensive and absolutely not worth it. We both had burgers priced just under £20 and they had no frills, no coleslaw, no salad or anything on the side, just a small lonely burger with a small portion of bland fries. Wasn't asked if we wanted any sauce, so after flagging someone down and asking for mayo, they gave us mayo light, which was rank.

Service was really slow. It took ages to get our order taken and twice as long for the food to arrive. The hot plate at the serving hatch was backing up. Nowhere near enough staff and those on shift need some training on customer service. Onions rings did not look appealing but we're ok. The sundae dessert was dreadful and tasteless. It was a birthday surprise for a work colleague. He got his dessert with a limp candle on the top and the waitress said they could not sing happy birthday as they were short staffed. We won't be back in a hurry!!

Food here is good but not worth the price unless you go for an offer. The staff service is good but can slow down at busier times The decor and atmosphere I’ve found to always be good, and the toilets are very clean.

Been to TGI’s for a number of years and always found it enjoyable. This branch needs a lot of guidance, not providing all menu’s, tables not set out, no mayo unless you are a vegan, the list could go on. £61 for 2 adults and a child, I am not complaining about the price but the quality. I have had better meals in a well known budget pub. Don’t make the same mistake as I did and try another eatery on the complex.

Milena was working hard this afternoon serving everyone efficiently. Our food and drinks arrived quickly. She also got my cheese and bacon fries changed because I didn't know they would be spicey! Great service with a smile.

Disappointing. Lots of items were out of stock, when food did arrive, it was missing parts and had to wait for these. The food was bland and is very expensive for what you get. The coffee was terrible. Service was very slow, having to wait ages for dessert so the ice cream was half melted and a long time for the bill and drinks.

Booked a table. Welcomed in and seated then apparently forgotten. Nobody came to take drinks order. Table next to us came in after us yet served first. Then got drinks order wrong but kept it the same when giving the bill. Food was okay but very pricey for what you get. Seemed to be plenty of staff but no desire to serve those waiting. Shouldn't have to wait to go find someone to ask them to take your order or the bill. Also gave us the food but no cutlery which we then also had to hunt down a member of staff to ask. It wasn't even busy so not sure what was going on! Shame

Great service here today milena was amazing she helped out when my son was upset and put smile back on his face he is autistic so he was upset when his food came and wasn't what he thought but she resolved the issue and he loved his food thankyou for ur service we will be back 😀

Went in to have a quick and light bite to eat whilst out shopping and was served by Milena. Food was very quick coming out, was lovely and light ... we loved the corn ribs and guacamole and chips. Milena was attentative and polite and we was looked after very well. Will come back again when shopping in the area.

Went here for my birthday meal, was great used my rewards so got a free round of cocktails. And at the end made my birthday feel really special and had a song and some cake too. Milena B was our server and was so helpful and always made sure we was okay.

First and last time I will be visiting TGI Fridays, especially rushden lakes one. We walked in, waited 10 minutes for a table whilst staff were pottering around. The lady came up to us and said table for 5.. no hi, hello, welcome, nothing. I said we had a booking and she just said ‘so table for 5?’ 🙄 the highchair we were given was filthy and the table and menus were sticky. 30 mins of sitting at our table without being served we decided to ask how long the wait was for food. We were told 15 - 20 mins so decided to stay. We eventually got served our drinks and order taken for food and the food didn’t take too long to come out. However, the food wasn’t great. My pasta was hard and freezing cold and had no flavour. The prices of the food were extortionate as well. The worst part of all was the wait for the bill. We had clearly finished and piled up all our plates at the end of the table and every staff member was just ignoring us. Everyone in my party had left and I was sat waiting for 30 minutes for the bill. I finally got the bill then waited another 10 minutes for the card machine to be brought over. There’s clearly a staffing issue ongoing. It wasn’t busy in the restaurant. We visited for my sons 7th birthday and it was just awful. Overall, a really disappointing and expensive visit so I wouldn’t recommend.

so i just wanted to share my experience at rushden lakes with every body, whilst visiting, all of the staff members caught my eye but this one girl with black hair and bangs (called ava i believe) dealt with us so well, no matter the miss comunication she always managed to provide us with solutions and made us feel very welcome. although the rush was quite big her attention to detail was outstanding. Thankyou TgI’s ❤️

Despite a very frustrating two hour experience I wish to say that Maisy was a pleasure. The only reason this place still functions is thanks to her stepping in for all of her lazy careless colleagues.

MAISY she deserves a higher position for her dedication , respect and integrity towards her job role ! Nothing was too much hassle and it was service with a smile ! We will be back and hopefully be served by Maisy 🥰

This had to be the worst TGI’s experience I think I’ve ever had. The food wasn’t the best I would probably give it a 6/7 out of 10, it wasn’t awful, but the service was absolutely terrible - I would give it a 1/10 and that 1 is because of our server Maisie who was clearly frustrated with her team but never let it show. We arrive at 7.40 and it took around 15/20 mins to get our order taken and our food took around 40-50 mins to come and we still hadn’t received our drinks. Maisie had to chase these down as she had left someone else in charge of this. Our drinks come, we ate our food and we decided to get some desert. We ordered 2 cakes and 2 kids deserts and 45 mins had passed by and we still had not received any deserts. When we ordered the deserts we also ordered refills and they hadn’t come until 30mins - we were told they had no clean glasses? It wasn’t very busy in there. Maisie decided to take it upon herself to get glasses cleaned for us. We decided to cancel the deserts by 9.40 as we had been there now 2 hours and it was getting ridiculous. Maisie had complained twice to the manager about the service we had received however not one did he come over to apologise or offer a discount of some sort. Maisie decided to use her staff discount and get money off our bill. Maisie is literally the only reason this place is getting 1/10.

This is the stickiest TGI Friday’s I’ve ever been. It seems like everything was covered with their Friday™️ legendary glaze sauce..😅

I visited the Rushden lakes restaurant today. Service was appalling. Got our food to the table half of it not cooked I received a burger on a plate on its own, queried where the fries was, as it was part of the meal to be told oh yeh we are cooking more will bring them in a while. Two kids meals arrived cold. I have previously been to this restaurant and had no issues but today the staff working the shift seemed to be very unprofessional and rude. The food was not upto the usual standards and an overall poor experience.

Originally came in for a drink but after being greeted by the wonderful Ava who was happy to help and even recommended a few dishes decided to stay and had a lovely meal will 100% be returning

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Arrived at 7:15pm, waited a few minutes at the door, multiple staff looked over but didn't say anything. I walked over to a woman and asked for a table, she replied "yeah, go stand by the door" So we stood for a few more minutes. Eventually got seated and was told he would be back soon to get a drinks order. We waited till 7:45pm with no order. Seen a minimum of 5 members of staff and only approx 8 tables in, so there was no excuse for this. We ended up leaving, thirsty, hungry and a sad 4 year old. Went to a greeneking pub which was much better service and a lot cheaper too.

Thanks to Neil he made our night making us delicious cocktails. Neil customised a cocktail to my personality to a T and it was amazing!. If you’re looking for somewhere to go for amazing customer service and an amazing cocktail to go hand in hand ask for Neil!!

Food was good but hygiene wasn't the best. Dirty menus, stained glasses and cutlery. The bathrooms needed a good clean aswell.

Had the best experience ever at TGI Fridays tonight all because of Mikki. She was absolutely amazing, we came for my friends birthday and she helped us out massively. Sang a birthday song and made sure we had a great time. She deserves a pay rise 100%. Most respectful and lovely member of staff I’ve spoke to since coming here. Thank you MIKKI. We appreciated you!

Just popped in for a drink and AJ behind the bar was super nice and friendly, great atmosphere for a chilled drink.

AJ behind the bar was a sound bloke, made me and my partner a really nice Pina Colada each and was a laugh to talk to.

Very friendly and polite service. The food was amazing never had such good ribs on a long time, deofntly recommend bringing the family

Awful service, it’s been terrible for sometime now even when it’s not busy at all! Stood at the door for 10mins waiting to be seated. After 15mins of waiting at the table I ended up going to the bar to get drinks and taking them back to the table myself. Then have to get up to find someone to ask to order food as this couldn’t be done at the bar. Asking for and paying the bill, exactly the same problem having to find someone again. The management don’t seem to care at all and to be honest come across pretty rude. We used to love coming to TGI’s as a treat for the kids but so fed up time and time again of the awful service. We will either drive to Northampton TGI’s or find an alternative altogether. Such a shame for an old favourite to go down the pan like this.
