Fillet steak was amazing !! The staff are all great, so friendly and helpful. Also had an amazing dessert which was chocolate fudge cake sizzler

I went with my friends last night. Very nice decor, family setting. The food was very delicious and service was amazing. They even have Shisha downstairs which was really good you don’t have to go far looking for Shisha place. We ordered dessert at Shisha place that was really good as well. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Ambience: Nice enough and opulent Service/Staff: great service and attentive , very helpful Food: had chicken steak- flavours were off, too sweet, hard and chewy, did not enjoy t-bone steak- lovely steak- nice enough but could be more flavoursome mocktails: Fantastic and enjoyed the recommended one- to be honest this was the best thing

I’ve visited the Steak Lounge twice with family. The food is nice and the steaks are traditional english steaks cooked just the way you ask with decent sides to choose from and sauce. The mocktails are delicious and really refreshing. Next time I visit I’ll be sure to try one of the desserts. The Steak Lounge is based in the city centre with convenient parking literally right next door at the NCP car park.

Went with work and this was certainly a gem! Didn't feel rushed and everything came out in a timely manner. Steak was cooked to perfection and the selection of side dishes and sauces was fantastic. Would definitely recommend ;)

The family were here to celebrate my mums birthday and we were not disappointed. Very friendly and attentive staff, my nephew has Autism and didn't like the sauce on his cheeseburger so it was changed without hesitation or extra cost for a plain one. The steaks are excellent, tasty and cooked to perfection. reasonably priced and a great simple menu, pick your steak, add a sauce and then add a side, all individually priced so you know where you stand. Drinks were good prices and there was a good selection. Mum unfortunately left her mobile phone on the table but the staff saw this and held on to it till we could collect the next day. All in all a wonderful leisurely, family night out, no rush for us to vacate the table and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back,

Came here after going theatre royal. Food was really good, steak excellent, pudding really nice. Service by staff was really good, food came out quick. Owner turned up and was really nice, cannot fault this place. Wife has a gastric issue and they let her have a kids meal. Will be back here on our return to Nottingham.

I just came out of this restaurent. Very poor service, the 2 waitresses were very rude. When we asked for extra sauce the lady huffed and puffed, didn't acknowledge what we said. Later, I found a piece of hair in my food. Bought it to one of the waitress's attention, she took my plate back to show the other waitress. They both came back to the table and argued with me, if their face wasn't glum already, it got worse! They Showed lots of attitude and I Felt very threatened by both of the waitresses. Unbelievable. Iv never experienced poor service like this, ever! The waitresses weren't willing to give a discount on the food either. Really bad experience and still was made to pay the price for the food i found the hair in, really uncomfortable atmosphere the minute we sat down, and it only got worse.

I travelled up to Nottingham for a meeting and a few social events. I had been recommended the Steak Lounge by a close friend and being a great steak fan ha dot try the place out. Four of us went on 21st April, at 7.30 e all had three courses of varying dishes across the wide menu choices and we could not fault any! My T-Bone Steak was cooked to perfection (better than the one I had at Christmas at the famous chefs place across the road!) If you are in Nottingham, enjoy a well cooked and presented steak book here...XXXWarningXXX leave plenty of room for dessert the selection is unbelievable!

Literally the worst steak I've ever eaten. Plus £2.50 for a side. Someone is having a laugh. Don't waste your time or money.

Our server at steak lounge was absolute amazing Tiam she done amazing job well presented as well as the food, very polite and talkative very welcoming would recommend to anybody! 😁

A group of us went for a birthday meal. The initial impression was that the restaurant was clean and tidy. We were met at the door and shown to our seats. The menus were delivered promptly and we were asked if we would like drinks first. We ordered our drinks which were delivered quickly. We then ordered our food. The food was delivered fairly quickly. We had different dishes including burger and various steaks for mains, with a selection of starters. We were all impressed with the food. The service was fairly good. During the meal we were asked if everything was satisfactory. This happened once. We were all too full to have any deserts. We found the experience rather expensive as all items were charged as add on prices. We would have preferred to have a total meal price on the menu, as add-on prices tend to be misleading. We may visit again.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. Waitress very pleasant Decor is nice Food was very very poor! They named their restaurant "steak lounge" which you would assume cooking the perfect steak would be their speciality, clearly it was far from it. The steak and lamb was tough as leather!! Spicy rice was definitely uncle bens Mexican bean rice Mash was standard Food was flavourless I mentioned it to the waitress she said she would pass on the feedback to the chef Baring in mind my partner and i was the only customers in their at the time. So they wasn't rush off their feet. Charged us full price No apologies from the staff 4 hours later I still have throbbing teeth due to their poorly cooked food!!! Not impressed Would not go back Don't waste your money

We all had starters there were 6 of us 2 had chicken sizzler starters 4 had halloumi salad wow the starters were amazing & big enough to be mains we all ordered steaks 2 tbone & 4 fillet again cooked to perfection so much food will definitely come again thankyou steak lounge

Everything about this place is A+. The staff was always more than welcome to help with everything that we have needed. And the food was even better. Would definitely recommend.

Having read some positive reviews I thought I try it, being quite in fact I was the only customer in there I thought I would be ok and perhaps the chef would take a bit more care.... Having ordered a starter and the mix grill I was kindly told that the grill would be enough so went with it...

Good presentation and meat always cooked to perfection. Lovely food and managers work hard to make sure you are welcome, decent chicken wings as a starter.

Seriously, the T Bone Steak is excellent, by far the best I have tasted. The chicken wings are good too.

Went for dinner at Steak Lounge with my family, all I can say it was simply amazing food! We ordered the T bone steak cooked rare/ medium and it was perfectly delicious, sea bass was fresh and cooked well and the buttery sauce was lovely, prawns were yummy and chicken wings were the best I have eaten. The sides that came with the food were all delicious. All the staff were well trained and courteous. I definitely would recommend this restaurant and I will be going back soon!

Came here with some friends yesterday. This is the second visit. The place is nice and clean. The food again was cooked really nice. We all liked our various dishes that were ordered and dessert after. We were looked after and would come again as they have been consistent.

I rang in the morning to book a table, gave name, time and number. I later needed to alter my time to an earlier slot, so rang in. There was no record of my earlier booking. It was not noisy at the time of first booking as it wasn't even open yet. I'm glad I called to edit my booking time, because if I turned up and no booking it would have been highly embarrassing. I certainly hope that now I have clarified to the caller during a very busy and noisy open time that the booking is correctly noted and I don't turn up to a full restaurant. The food could be amazing, if I ever get to eat it, then I will edit my review accordingly. Front of house is just as important as the kitchen.

Tried to get in soulville only to be told it was full so found the steak lounge online and booked.....so glad i did.

Given raw chicken wings to start with and offered nothing for it. We also had to send back one steak twice and ended up leaving all the others a they were awful cuts.

Visited on Saturday the place was very busy and I now know why. The food we had was amazing.

Great and friendly service. I got the food quickly and everything was delicious. All in all 5 stars for sure.

Very poor service. Arrived and name had been crossed off the reservation list. I had to wait 10 mins to get a table. Then took nearly 20 mins to get a drinks order. Was told the soup was mushroom. To my disgust they gave me tomato as the waiter got the wrong soup of the day. Then when I got it it was cold!!!! My grandfather had the prawns and they were very bland and had no taste. Then arrived out steaks. We all had fillet and they were all full of fat and gristle. I've never had a fillet steak with that much fat on it. Then just to top it off, the waitress was walking around chewing gum!!! I don't pay £21 per steak for a waitress to be chewing gum. It wasn't even discreet. Very disappointed. Was no reduction on the bill even though I made it clear I was not satisfied. I recommend going to the steak place just down the road!! Very unhappy customer.

Being a fillet steak fan, I was initially happy that they had this option on the menu.

We went there for dinner, seating is nice with a family suitable environment, good friendly service ، food portion is great for its value , nice hot delicious food and drinks are very refreshing. Excellent location , worth visiting

Unfortunately, I cannot review the food as this establishment does not provide any disposable cutlery when delivering. This was a shame as I was on a business trip and wanted delivery to my hotel.

Had a lovely surprise meal here, boyfriend and friends planned it and it was so good. If you want some good food, i recommend it. Customer service was 100%, food was 10/10 and the restaurant was beautiful!! Will deffo be back for a meal. Thanks so much for the good time!

Well decorated comfortable restaurant with good service. Was surprised at the quality of the steak and cooked to French standards. Ice cream was also delicious, but espresso coffee not the best. Would definitely return.

I went with my Wife for an evening out here as I had previously enjoyed this restaurant when it first opened. They served HMC meat, no alcohol and make good mojitos.

This is a must visit when in Nottingham. Food is outstanding, service is faultless, value is amazing.

I went to this restaurant two weeks ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary, it was clean and the staff were very attentive. The food & service were top notch and we enjoyed a brilliant evening. We both came away feeling we had value for money.

Wow! Passed by this place tons of times and it always looked closed due to the dull lighting. Today there was a sign outside the door, so checked out the menu, went in a little skeptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the new decor, squeaky clean restaurant, and great ambiance and music. I was greeted and seated right away by a friendly waitress, given water and my order taken within 5 minutes of arrival. I ordered the grilled chicken burger which came with French fries. I was impressed by what was delivered. He chicken was chargrilled perfectly, and had just the right amount of veggies and condiments. The fries were really good as well...non greasy and crunchy. I highly recommend this place just to come and chill with friends for a great meal. Bon Appetit!

Food was sumptuous, great service, will be back. The mixed sizzler was amazing, great sauce. The only downside is the water is a bit expensive but that is a tiny niggle only

My wife and I visited this place on Saturday 2nd sept and we was very impressed with this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us fell very welcome and we thought the food was really good value for money. We had two starters, two steaks and a bottle of wine for £55.

Me and my partner visited hear last night for our evening meal. My partner chose the steak and I got the chicken sizzles. My partner said his steak was abit fatty but was nice. The chicken sizzlers was very tasty. The price of the bill was very reasnable. The waiters was very kind and asked us if everything was OK with our meal. On leaving we needed to order a taxi and one of the workers orderd that for us. Would definatly recommend this place.

Steak wasn't a very nice cut and when asked for medium rare it was more medium well, chips and onion rings were clearly from frozen and not fresh - service was quick however and staff were polite although often had to ask the waitress what she said because she was so quiet. An okay meal but over priced for the quality.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Service was nice and always smiling. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Btw the girl in short hair makes delicious desserts! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes steaks and delicious desserts. I'm gonna return there for sure !

It was my 2nd visit at Steak Lounge after Christmas dinner. Same great taste and friendly service, my friends really liked the steaks which cooked perfectly, will visit again on my next visit to Nottingham.

Me and my Wife ordered medium rare T-bone steak there and it was DELICIOUS! Juicy and fresh like nowhere! Waitress was soooooooo nice. She told us every spice that was used by coock. AND THIS MILKSHAKES! I suggest michelin to put them in their guide!

I wouldn't normally leave a review at all but in this case I think it is justified. My friend and I ordered two T-bone steaks that were overcooked, when I pointed this out to the staff they just told me that it was meant to be like that. What's far worse is that the next day we both have a bad stomach. I don't understand how this restaurant has so many good reviews when the service was bad and they cannot even cook steak properly.

Went to Steak House restaurant on a friday night. Upon arriving we entered a near empty restaurant. Only two other diners there on a Friday night. We were sat down at the far end of the restaurant near a very noisy chill dessert cabinet. As soon as we sat down we were asked abruptly what drinks we wanted. We did not even have time to view the drink menu. Which was promptly taken from us. Along with the wine glasses. We were planning to have a nice bottle of wine with our steaks. Gave up on this idea.

Today we visited steak lounge restaurant after viewing there social media images on Instagram, they food looked amazing so we thought we would have a family meal at steak lounge. Spent nearly 3 hours at steak lounge restaurant, we all have starters, mains and desserts with 4 bottles wine. What can I say apart from 100% excellent service from all the staff. The food was the best, starters went down well, the marinated steaks were all cooked to perfection, the sides were great. More than happy. finally the Desserts well they were the best

Went last night took my wife and two friends to the steak lounge, looked at menu price of steak reasonable in price until you read that you have to pay extra for chips onion rings etc, then it turned out to be a quiet expensive meal, we have never ever known this before, in some restaurants you do have to pay for some little extras, that's fine but not on everything, its just utter greed by the owners who want to bleed extra money out of customers.

Average food nothing tasty about the meats, or menu. Steak house but had no steak to serve as ran out. Average price, average decor and prices. Wouldn't rush back.

Really nice restaurant, very done up and welcoming. Great customer service and good service. Food came out on time, didn't have to wait too long. I'm not too keen on the food. I had the gourmet chilli burger, which i didn't like much. I thought it would be a spicy burger, but it was just bland meat and raw green chilli's. I feel like the food is kinda overprice too.

Had a meal out with friends. They have a nice selection of cocktails as well as beers. My starter was halloumi, which was done better than I've ever had. A good inkling on things to come. Ordered a T-bone for main, they have a selection of sauces to go with the steak as well as a marinaded option, which is what I opted for. Unfortunately the wine I wanted didn't come by the glass so had to have a different one. It's best to order a bottle between a few people to get a good wine with your meal. We didn't stop for desserts, but again there are a good selection of these and if it's anything to go by the rest of the meal I can guarantee they'll be amazing. Lovely meal and not too expensive in the end.

A very good place to eat and meet. In central Nottingham plenty of public transport. Normal town centre parking. But worth it for exelent food and friendly staff. Always happy to greet you. Price is not to high but I think the food is above it.

My family and I visited the Steak Lounge for an early evening dinner before heading to the Theatre Royal. We were greeted quickly and pleasantly. Seated easily and given plenty of time to get settled and to decide what we wanted to eat.

I had a delicious steak yesterday in this place, the prices weren t that expensive for the quality of food and the service. Really good place to eat,quite and enjoyable, a big well done to the chefs and the staff which they were really professionals.

We go when we get the chance. The food it outstanding and affordable. You want steak they ask how you like it and that s how it is, anything you order you will most definitely enjoy.

Went here yesterday and had the marinated steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The chips were crispy and not at all oily and the side sauce was excellent. The service was also excellent, very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and all the food and will definitely be coming back, definitely recommend this place.

Been twice with last visit a week ago. Food great on both occasions, the steaks ordered were great as were the chicken options. The service was very friendly and attentive although on first visit had to wait abit for the food to arrive but the wait was worth it. Will definitely return.

I went with my friends for a birthday party and i really enjoyed it. The service provided was excellent. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was also great i had a steak burger and my friends had a steak. They also really enjoyed themselves and said the food was great. The desserts were also some of the best i have ever had. Today i went to dinner to steak lounge with my brothers and sisters. We all had burgers and fries and for desert we had crepes and milkshakes. Even though the restaurant was busy our food still came out in time. We had a great experience and are looking forward to coming back

Went in for dessert .Had honey malteaser cheesecake with pistachio ice cream which was amazing. My daughter had a waffle with strawberries & milk chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere in restaurant was buzzing and service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly!

Came to steak lounge with my roommates on a Friday night for a bite before going to the casino across the street. I was surprised at how low the prices were considering how big the plates are. We all ordered t-bone steaks, which were massive. I ordered mine with peppercorn sauce and it added a really nice flavour to the steak.

Heard good reviews about this place and I thought I'd take my parents here - I was pleasantly surprised, their T-bone steak tasted amazing and their peppercorn sauce went so well together. I would definitely this dish! The staff were really friendly as well.

After planning a meal for an Eid day, I was left disappointed at the end as the food was not up to my expectations. I chose the King Prawns as my starter, and may I say that they were delicious. However, they are a 'steak' lounge and they did not fulfil the name. I ordered the most expensive cut on offer, the Fillet Steak, at a cost of £20. The meat was served well done, although I had asked for medium well, the chips were cold and soggy, and I was not given a steak knife for the meat. My friend who I was with, had a burger that lacked in any taste whatsoever. The price for the portions were a bit pricey; we were charged £1.95 for a sauce that accompanies the meat, where in most steak places would compliment the steak with a topping/sauce free of charge. To be fair, the place was busy, and they were short on staff. Overall, I would not recommend this place for a night out meal.

The cuts of Sirloin were very small. Appeared to be smaller than 8oz for sure. Also you do not get any sauces or sides with the steak, these have to be purchased separately.

Family outing at steak lounge. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff, loved the marinated steaks. I would defiantly recommend it.

Visited here with on a Sunday evening with a family of 8 and left disappointed. The prices are expensive and the food is not of good quality. I had a rump steak cooked medium, the steak came out very very tough to cut and chew, as were others in our group, they were poor quality cuts of meat. The chicken dishes, particularly the chicken in pitta, was a lot better, it was well spiced and cooked well, quite tasty.

Popped in prior to attending a concert. Good points, no booking required, staff friendly, quick service, lovely mashed potato.
