Food was okay. Loading looks like shit.

This place is amazing. If you are gluten-free, I would recommend it. They actually wrap your burger in lettuce so you can still pick it up and eat it like a burger instead of having to eat it with a knife and fork (which is still an option if you prefer) and the milkshakes are amazing. You get so many fries that we share a small amount. Pricey but worth every penny

Waited exactly 3 hours for food delivery this is shocking customer service. Cannot even call to speak to anyone. Absolute waste of money and time.

Too much cajun spice on the fries, the hot dog was just edible, BLT was mediocre but the milk shake was delicious, no excuses there were only two other customers in the restaurant, sloppy and very expensive for lunch

Their seasoned crisps are soooou delicious

Daughter said it was the best cheeseburger ever and the peanut butter milkshake was yum!

Staff are polite and friendly. Food is good but expensive. The general customers are ok. But people just walking through the outside seating area and can be a bit odd. One young man lit a lighter in front of my face and shouted 'fire' as he was walking by

Seams okay, bit pricy and overhyped

Not had a Five guys for about a year so decided today was about time I gave them another go and yes another cracking burger. The young lady who made the burger was very nice and made a great job . Minus points were we felt the place could of been much cleaner tables were in need of a good wipe down and the floor needed a sweep . It's these things you expect when your at a premium burger joint .

The area manager needs to put more staff on. Unacceptable to wait over half an hour for food. Staff working not at fault at all, clearly under too much pressure.

One star is for me because I got those horrible burger.

I love this food, the quality is really very good compared to others

We happened upon this place and were pleasantly surprised. Instead of the featured hamburger, we tried the hot dog, which can be customized with whatever condiments you want. The fries were also very good.

Friendly staff,clean restaurant both downstairs and upstairs all fresh produce really enjoyed our experience

Expensive. We had 2 burgers, one fries a milk shake and a bottomless coke and it was £33! The drinks machine had run out of syrup so was just giving out soda water 🤢 Burger was ok but the price put us off going again

The worst five guys I’ve ever had. Food clearly not fresh, chips looked like they’d been there a while and it seems the Coke machine is either broken or they’ve turned the brix down massively to save money. Unimpressed.

Awful value for money, wouldn't go again, not sure how they get away with such ridiculous prices for measly portions and how are you supposed to eat a burger wrapped in lettuce without cutlery is beyond me!

Wasn’t disappointed with the cheese burger I was served here. Very good, so filling and lots of Cajun fries, which were a bit dry but very plentiful. Even got a free soft drink while we waited for our order! Bit expensive I thought though

A little dingy, could not have a cold drink as the machine was out of order. Overpriced.

A great place to eat, not the cheapest, but the food is cooked for your order not in advance! Amazingly large portions of great tasting chips too.

The Best Hamburger 🍔 ❤️ around the World...!!!

I'm vegetarian and the music is WAY TOO LOUD! You can't even think with how high the volume is, let alone hold a conversation. EDIT: It seems in the years that have passed the store staff have managed to locate the volume knob.

Although it's rated a 3.5, it deserves more. The burgers were delicious and they let us add as many toppings as we wanted. 5 stars!

Very nice burgers. Somewhat pricy for a takeaway setting but tasty. Chips portions are huge but again you do pay for them. Love the fresh jalapenos

Ate there last night, excellent service and great food. For a burger joint, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

First time visit to the Nottingham branch and unfortunately it was not great, the lady who served me I asked for a burger meal and she told me they don't do that, which I was confused by but then realised the way it works but she didn't explain to me this I had to work it out for myself. So eventually managed to put my order together for 2 adults and 2 kids which she suggested I order 2 extra large chips which was enough to feed the whole of Nottingham so totally unnecessary. Also the drink machine was broken so the drinks weren't dispensing at all. But the worst of all was the price at £60! Which shocked me but thought the food would live up to the price but again it didn't! But one thing that is inexcusable is the state of the place! It was filthy! The tables weren't cleaned and when I took my 5 year old son to the toilets there was water all over the floor and no locks on the cubicle doors!

Cold and unseasoned fries. Way off what they should be. Taste free burger. So very disappointing. Very long wait for food too, despite not being busy. Add in the price and I won't be bothering again soon.

The food was delivered and items were missing, generally unimpressed with the food. This may be a personal preference, but I thought the food was overly greasy and soggy. I wouldn’t recommend this to others.

I mean yea don't get me wrong it's on the pricey side but with a very clean open kitchen, great food, great milkshakes you can tell its worth it!

Great food! Delicious fries and big portion but you'd expect that for the price as i would say its definitely over priced very expensive but thats probably cause its an american franchise

Still too expensive, and still the best fast burger anywhere.

Can't fault the food however expensive.. . Staff however seemed fed up hence why they seemed to rush you and not hear you when you ask a question.

Food it shocking. Bland and dry. Seating area is filthy. Put me off eating my food. What a waste of money. Bad hygiene

Only 3 staff members are on and they're running around struggling. Food was longer to be served due to this and everything was warm instead of hot. The restaurant needs a good clean bins full and food on the floor.

Some of the best burgers and chips ever. It is very pricy but the meal portions are unreal. A normal fries are for two people and a large is for 3/4. The burgers are so well done and they are always so quick. The burgers are so hot when they come out but not in the over done way. I like knowing my food is fresh and well prepared. Would recommend for a quick lunch. But not for a family of four or more unless you are wanting to spend about 50 pound.

Best burgers from a chain outlet, not to mention the excellent fries and bottomless drinks.

We visit 5 guys often at different locations and have never been dissapointed, until now. How a franchise with the same ingredients and techniques as all the others I've visited can get it so wrong is beyond me. Chips were soggy, milk shake more froth than shake and the burger was cold even though they'd just made it???

VERY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL MANAGER called Pedro. (The manager who works on sundays). I don't understand how a restaurant like five guys has a manager like that. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AND WILL ALSO INFORM OTHERS TOO.

Even though they can be expensive compared to other fast food stores, the quality of meat, refills and amount of chips makes this place elite.

Updating my review after eight years. Unfortunately prices have gone up, service is worse as I got the wrong drink, food took a long time as there were plenty of customers but few kitchen staff. I don't feel it's worth the premium price anymore.

The food was amazing as usual, expensive but nice. The service was great but i thought it was slightly slow, and atmosphere great. TOILETS were dirty, they needed some strong bleach and the staff need to keep on top of stocking the toilet paper up.

Nice burgers, very expensive and doesn't live up to the 5 guys fries experience. Every time I've ordered I have had very few fries. This time I ordered the large fries to see if they would fill the bag up but still no such luck. I thought 5 guys was meant to throw loads of extra portions of fries in the bag

I've been to five guys a few times before in other locations and it's been nice, but my food was poor here. The main issue being that the burger bun was really soggy. Not nice at all.

First time been to a five guys. The food was excellent. Very friendly service. Will definitely visit another but unfortunately won't be Nottingham as the city centre has died. Great if you want to eat or get a pair of trainers. Rubbish for everything else

First Five Guys experience (as there are none in the city we live in) and left very disappointed. Burger was dry, fries were limp and greasy. For the price it was incredibly average. There was also a customer washing their hands in the drink dispenser, who then wiped their shoes with their hands, and then continued to wash their hands. Tables were dirty, the quotes on the walls with praise are all from 2008-2011's, no wonder there are no positive comments from less than 10 years ago.

Way overpriced for the experience. Burger was dry and flavourless, but cost over £10. Service was also slow. Would not go to five guys again

I love these pricey burgers so very much! They're the only truly tasty burgers in this country (almost everything is tasteless here, they are not familiar with preparing tasty food with flavour). They're a bit pricey, but they are completely worth it. I always order the bacon cheeseburger, and my partner likes the regular burger with no cheese. The cajun fries are very nice as well. The service is always good, and it's always clean.

Best burgers you can have on a fast food restaurant but it's the most expensive. It's not always that fast but it's fresh. Peanuts is a good treat and there are plethora of drinks on fountain.

Excellent food. High price but as I said, it's excellent food.

Not the fastest considering they weren't that busy, but it's all made to order so that tracks. Toasted cheese sandwich with all the pickles = perfection!

I've visited and few five guys, love the food. Sadly the fries here were not the best, it was late when I visited and they seemed a bit dried out. Will go again try a burger etc next time

Placed an order on just eat. Get told it’s been delivered and never actually got it. Called five guys and they don’t even answer. I would not use them ever again. First time experience and not a good one at all. Avoid like the plague.

Staff in no hurry to serve anyone, seemed confused to be working there. Food took a while and one of the drinks machines wasn’t dispensing coke. However fantastic burger and spacious area outside to sit with no hassle or trouble.

I always find the location here amazing, its easy to people watch if you're a nosey parker and it's also really easy to find a quiet table upstairs if you're not. I do think the atmosphere upstairs is a bit depressing and kinda reminds me of a petrol station bathroom for some reason, although this is a limitation of the five guys colour scheme so I can't really fault them on it

Ordered a milkshake, was very quiet…no queue served straight away. Please tell me why it took 24mins for one chocolate milkshake, if I hadn’t have gone up and asked, who knows how long i would have been stood waiting. Once I asked he did in there and then.

Decent food, always expensive as would be expected with five guys.

The burger was soaky wet from the oil. Taste good but the texture was awful.

Very good but expensive food. Good for a very occasional experience, if you are for an American experience

First time eating at five guys. Food was OK, we had cheeseburgers and fries. For a similar price you could probably eat at a posh burger restaurant and get better burgers. Fizzy drinks machine was flat and had no fizz, although bottles of drink were offered in replacement. There was no real atmosphere, it is a basic burger joint, although free monkey nuts was a nice touch.

The food was ok but so over priced for how small it was. I ordered a hotdog which was just under 7 pounds and it was so small, you don't get anything with it just a hotdog . Milkshakes are really good and the only reason I would go back. It is not ideal to go here if u have more than one kid due to the over priced food
