The best restaurants serving American food in East Midlands

Visited on St Patrick's day. Would not recommend. Very unsavory welcome. The bar maid was more interested in her phone than finishing pouring my pint of Guinness (it had settled a minute prior) Then the karaoke speakers were overly loud and distorted, we try to raise the issue and they give us hassle, and deliberately raise the volume to cause us discomfort. The karaoke staff were not friendly. If anything the woman looked us up and down like we were dirt. Then we get told if we don't like it go somewhere else. I didnt have the choice of where to go, my mother flew in from Ireland and this is where the group was. We get heckled and laughed at when I walk off. (I'm autistic and the volume was causing me discomfort, the entire pub was distorted) Would definitely no recommend! If anything I want this issue to be addressed. There was no need for the volume to be that loud in the first place, and no need to raise the volume if we tell them it's distorted and causing discomfort. Really am seriously upset with the way we were treated here. Like I say, I didn't have the choice of place, it was where the group was at the time. Would not recommend.

A really nice restaurant with plenty of parking facility. Food was good, ordered fish and chips with a portion of beans and partner ordered the same with mashy peas. I would go again but this time I would order something different. It was really quiet...

To be expected there are always going to be people, especially students, that are disrespectful and feel the need to lash out through leaving bad reviews but I’ve come here with friends for years and I, and none of my friends, have ever had a problem. The staff are fair, understanding and absolute gem’s. Good people, people who come here never stop coming back and it’s no wonder why! ❤️ Ps. They’re also dog friendly

One of the few places open late night in June but smelt good and I was starving so went for the 1/2 LB grilled chicken burger with lettuce, onion, tomato and burger sauce. Freshly cooked to order and it was perfectly grilled but a bit of a mess to eat with so much on it (my fault, not there's). Cheap too!

Best steak we have had for a long while will be back also definitely recommend the sticky toffee pudding was divine

I am incredibly disappointed and decided to try Burger hood in Derby as but the burger, fries and drink is excessively priced at over £10.00 per person .The fries are very tasty and plentiful but the burger and bun is a children’s portion and I realise a profit has to be made but I paid double the price for a mini bun burger . It is unlikely I shall ever return again as there is cost of living crisis and menu prices should be value for money with a substantial serving of a burger and bun .

Absolutely loved it here. Food was amazing. Value for money. Staff so attentive and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Will 100% be going again and have recommended some friends to go which they will be booking next week. Defo go here for a nice chilled relaxing evening.

One of the best pizza places of all time! Amazing food especially for vegans. Better pizzas than any chain, and fascinating flavours. Hope dough and crust continue to expand!!

Food was excellent, not fatty and greasy and they do a double omelette for breakfast w Which is filling and works for my liw carbon diet

Sat outside in the sun in seating area at South facing front of the pub with a de ent coffee and unlimited refills. Joined by 2 friends for a round of excellent real ales at £2.99 a pint! Stopped for lunch of spicy chicken wraps/ all day breakfast which all agreed was very tasty and good value for money. Another couple of rounds of different ales all at bargain prices and we were good to go ( and catch the bus!).

We went for a coffee but it was busy so we parked for 15 minutes and let the dog pee and brought a snack at the petrol place. We saw no signs about parking fines. Then we got a letter with a £100 fine !

This guys being muslim. Very greedy to customers supply Very poor quality rotten chips to customers made my family sick should be reported for negligence charges for rotten chips

My 85 year old mother and me went for a quick lunch not far from her bus stop. The lady on the till Lala was amazing so helpful we ordered two children's meals they were really nice and plenty for the smaller appetite See pictures below

Great little hidden gem that's not busy in anyway. Very helpful staff and great food. Pleasing venue all round and great live music too
