OK Diners in South Kesteven

We had been to an event locally and were looking for somewhere to eat and I came across OK diner online and as we like an american diner, we thought we would give it a go. The venue looks like a american diner and the menu looks like it offers american diner style food. We ordered 2 burgers and a cajun chicken salad. The burgers were underwhelming. The burgers themselves were of poor quality with no flavour and the buns fell apart. The fries were acceptable. The salad was as described but again underwhelming with minimal chicken but with lots of tomato. I will say the milkshakes we had were very nice and I would recommend. However the coffee that was ordered was so small I am surprised it had not evaporated before it got drunk. When we had finished eating, the plates were removed and the bill placed on the table and card machine produced before we had finished our drinks. Overall : A real shame, wanted to love it, wanted to find a reason to come back and am really sorry to say could not find that reason.

It's great to see somthing diffrent friendly staff however for a american dinner portions are really small for the price

It's was very busy and buzzing. There was a little wait for a table, and a little wait for service, but the atmosphere made the wait more pleasant. We were served by a very courteous young chap, who took our order accurately and confirmed it exactly. The food was delicious, all day breakfast, cooked very well and piping hot. Only slight criticism was the constant stressed look on the supervisors face

The food was really good and the milkshakes amazing . We had excellent service from a lovely young man and he was so professional . I’ve rated the experience a three because the lady who brought our bill was nothing short of really rude to my friend because she forgot to show her OK dining card , it really ruined the experience .

Love this place. We rock up with 5 adults and 5 kids so pretty hectic but these ladies just breaze it like it’s normal. It’s great as we can order a sort of food whether it’s morning or later in the day so serves us all well as some don’t want a breakfast. Staff always pleasant and helpful and food is great. Cannot praise them enough thanks

Nothing OK about this place. The latte came without froth and was at best luke warm. It was replaced with a boiling hot one which I suspect was the original one which had been microwaved. The sausages in my sausage sandwich were of the cheapest quality. I suspect there was no meat in them at all. The tables were sticky and the hot water in the ladies was icy cold despite a warning for very hot water. Avoid this place like the plague. My clothes now also smell of fried food as a reminder of a terrible experience.

Burger tasted really mid, like a dilapidated cheap meat imitation of beef. My sprite was flat, when I told the waitress she said I was lying to my face. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend. If I was American I would feel insulted knowing this fraudulent imitation of American food was being sold.

Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. We have been going to this place for years. Always the same. A terrific place to stop off when heading North on the A1.

Very very busy was like a Kiddagarden kids running around parents letting them, can be very dangerous if waitress got scolding food drops/tripped off not staff fault parents should control children , I think no screaming children after 6pm this was 7:45pm ! When I say screaming I mean screaming !! Not enjoyable experience!! Concerned customer last thing on a Friday night after a long week.

Visited with friends and family for breakfast, really enjoyed our experience and the food is great! The hash browns are the star of the show

Great BIG sign saying Large takeaway Coffee. Went in they don't do anything large intact it was small very small. I asked for large then said it's that size. I said what about a small one then, guess what same size. Atmosphere less than friendly won't be going back there that's for sure.

Great food and amazing service I highly recommend this restraint and the milkshake is legendary! Next time you are wondering where to have dinner here is your answer.

I always wanted to stop here and I wish I didn’t We was greeted by a young man and lady. We had 2 burgers which was nothing special can’t really say much about it Small cup of coffee which not the greatest But what amazed me was how dirty clothing the staff was wearing the young lad’s trousers was disgusting and he was serving my food and surely this was one off but I saw another staff member with dirty clothing surely if I turned up at my restaurant she would of sent them home.this was at 12.00 ish I also went to use there toilet smell and of stale pee smells was terrible I would avoid going back there

I really wanted to have a breakfast cooked for me and as a solo diner didn't want to be too conspicuous or have too much fuss. Breakfast, the "Bigger One" without eggs, just my preference, absolutely delightful, as was my server, no fuss, attentive without being obtrusive, made sure my coffee cup was kept full if I required, and I love the American Diner, "Pulp Fiction" vibes. Fast service, cooked to order, exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast and lovely, friendly staff. I never manage to eat all of a full English breakfast, but on this occasion, I actually did! Thanks ladies!

Remarkably efficient, and it really is a fast-food place. I was seated promptly, served promptly, and the meal arrived quickly I enjoyed the vegetarian tex-mex, and portions were great. Nice atmosphere, too. Loos are a bit basic, but clean and functional.

My wife and I called at the Stanford Diner after a shopping trip.We were greeted warmly and coffee was served while we perused the menu. We both chose Spicy wings and ribs with bbq sauce, coleslaw and curly fries.Order taken and coffees topped up (unlimited).Our meal was delicious and hotOne of our little treats.

Image and entrance service is amazing! When sat down we ordered drinks pretty quick, when drinks arrived ordered food then. After that, time passed and food took its time, when it arrived food wasn’t even hot: it was close to being cold, wasn’t very appealing either. Only thing good: 2 tea bags in the tea!

Short visit for pancakes and coffee. Both were very nice. To class this as a traditional American diner however is a joke. Taking the decor aside the joy of a real US diner are the friendly staff. Don’t call me mate repeatedly and when I leave thank me for calling in rather than blankly watching me go. There were only two other tables occupied. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Arrived ,put in order for 2 cups of tea. Tea didn’t arrive ,chased it twice. Tea arrived both teapots spilt tea over the table. No serviettes to mop it up. Asked for bill 3 times.

Our second visit I had a philly sandwich with curly fries and hubby had cheeseburger both was really tasty, big portions and great value, plus bottomless diet cokes bill under £23 can’t go wrong. All staff very friendly and helpful, all food freshly cooked.

Arrived about 10:00 am, I was greeted and seated straight away, I ordered an All Day Breakfast and coffee, The coffee arrived very quickly. Then the meal arrived also very quickly the waitress just plonked the plate down in front of me. The two fried eggs were very over cooked the yolks being pale and hard. The bacon was hardly cooked at all and in a curly mess near the edge of the plate. (Not laid out as rashers should be) The toast was hardly toasted at all and with just a tiny bit of butter in the middle. The tomato was good and the sausages were good but that's it.The service was very abrupt, the area where I was seated was cold and the food was very poor.I have used OK Diner's quite few times in the past and the one at Elwick about 4 or 5 times and enjoyed good service and good food so this was a big let down. I noticed that there was only one other table occupied whereas when iv'e been there before about the same time of day they have been busy.I think next time I will try somewhere else.

Family dinner at OK was awesome... had the amazing wings, and all the way burger followed by the nut job.... was in a food coma afterwards! Really good produce (not cheaply sourced) cooked well and served by really nice staff. Thanks!!! Will be back soon

I went here with my girlfriend on a Wednesday night. First time I’ve been to one of these. She said they were fab. She was right. It was quite busy and there’s an offer on Wednesday nights of burger for £6 when you buy a drink so I’m not surprised.I had a Nutella shake and she had a peanut butter shake. I say shake.... you get the container too which equals 3 shakes!The burgers were fresh and tasty, nice and thick. The buns, salad, cheese, chilli, fries, sauces were all top notch American diner food that I’d hoped for. I had an All the way burger and she had a philly steak burger. They were fab! I’ll definitely be back here when I can breathe again. Recommended.

Came here tonight on a bit of a whim - didn’t fancy cooking and wanted something a little bit more than a plain old burger. I had the philly steak burger (beef brisket on a burger with cheese sauce) - this comes with fries and some burger relish. My boyfriend had an “all the way” burger...it’s got EVERYTHING on it. Looked really tasty. Then there were the milkshakes...I had the peanut butter cup (bloomin’ delicious) and he had a Nutella milkshake (also pretty darn yummy!) Atmosphere was really nice - great furniture, accessories and ambience. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and to top it all off...burgers are only £6 on a Wednesday!! BARGAIN! Definitely be going again!
