The best restaurants serving American food in England

So sad that this place was supposed to have been 'saved' by the new owner, but has completely lost any essence of what it once was. Such a damn shame to have a brilliant venue turn into what it is now.

We stumbled across this pub purely by accident as we were driving past and as it looked busy and inviting we decided to turn round and call in for something to eat. The pub is huge with lovely outdoor seating areas and the staff are wonderful nothing was too much trouble. We did have to wait around 45 minutes for our roast dinners but we didn't mind as we could see it was so busy. The roasts were delicious and extra gravy for free what a win most places would charge. We will be back when we are back this way.

I just had to take a moment to highlight the incredible service from Lottie! She is an absolute gem—friendly, professional, and truly amazing at her job. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, making my experience unforgettable. Her attention to detail and warm personality really stood out, and she is without a doubt a huge asset to the team. Lottie absolutely deserves a promotion—her dedication and customer service skills are next level! If you’re lucky enough to be served by her, you’re in for a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Here for dart league starting at 730pm on a Sunday. The bartender is doing a lot of talking with her friends and ignoring other customers. Stood at the bar waiting for a drink for about 30 mins before I gave up and left the bar without a drink. I don't know how they expect to keep business when bartenders are treating customers that way.

Went for dinner. Food was delicious and portions very generous. Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Lloydie. Thank you , we will return.

Fantastic as always an great value for money

Slight issue with my order but wow what customer service these guys gave, polite friendly and rapid redelivery of the order. Well done and by the way pizza spot on.

Probably the best restaurant in London..

Frequently visit this place & have never had a problem, until the 5th of April 2025. My husband & I brought some friends here that had never been before. We were so disappointed & a little embarrassed. We ordered our food but then the server came back & said “there’s no wings left” then told about 10 minutes later “there’s no JD glaze left” then 10 minutes after that “there’s no maple sauce left”. After all of this, we then received our food & my friend had a deep fried fly in his food. Then my husband had a hair in his food. We told the server & then we all no longer wanted to eat our food, that hadn’t been touched. We were told that they would remove the 2 dinners from the bill but nothing else. Which is unacceptable! We were all off put by the fly & then by watching my husband pull a hair out of his mouth from his food & we didn’t know what someone would have in their dinner next! I wanted to send an email to speak to the manager but there isn’t an email address on the website. We were happy to pay for the starters & drinks but definitely not happy to pay for the main meals.

Lewis was amazing, great service thank you. I only went in for a Coffee and a cake, very friendly and wanted to chat which is always a nice thing.

Lovely vibe, great staff and great food

The food (starters especially the Asian crispy beef) was exquisite. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly as requested. Ellie was an absolute star, credit to the company 😊

We celebrated my son’s 18th Birthday at Cow and Pig yesterday and let me say Sejal, Amish and team were fantastic. So well organised and attentive to our group of 25+ The food was amazing, so delicious. The decor and atmosphere added to a wonderful celebration! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future!
