The restaurant was so stylish and quirky. Friendly staff. Good sized portions on the fixed menu. Food tasted high quality. Definitely worth it.

Brought here by my Girlfriend for my birthday. Very smart Restaurant both inside and outside. Located just off East street in Bromley North. Had a very decent friendly Waiter. Very quiet in here but was a Tuesday evening so plenty of tables available. Depending on how much you looking to spend they had a range of Different Steak with a 50% deal. Food came out pretty quickly and the standard was really high, well presented and very tasty. Had a really enjoyable evening

The restaurant was very quiet but it was a Tuesday evening. Our waiter, Zac, was friendly and made us feel welcome. 2 of us enjoyed a 2 course dinner at £14.95 each. We had the pork crumpet and prawn tempura to start and then both had ribs. The food was all tasty and well cooked. There was an issue with being overcharged for white wine spritzers but that was dealt with just about, but still feel that the restaurant didn't understand why they shouldn't be charging for lemonade on top of the price of the spritzer (the drink includes lemonade!) Overall it was a good meal.

Had dinner here before going to the theatre & it was fantastic. I loved all the decor & the vibe of the place. The food was delicious & so were the after dinner cocktails. We were served by Zack who was brilliant. Couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful. Will certainly be back when in the area.

Took Mum and Dad out for what we were thinking, a lovely meal. We had been looking forward to it all day. Arrived to an empty restaurant and we now wish we had walked straight back out the door! Starters were ok-ish nothing, not worth the money though. Mains - my husband and I ordered chateaubriand - this came out in 6 massive thick chunks - (I have never seen this served in this way) which was far too much and for 2 people and wasn’t very nice tasting! We were not asked about size potions - the menu states 1-2 people. It could have fed 6 at least! My father in law orderedTom halk steak again absolutely huge, too much for 1 person and again not a great cut. The meat had been cut of the bone and the bone served on the plate… my mother in law pulled pork burger she didn’t like this and said it was fatty. We all had chips, about 8 chips in each pot and were under cooked. We had one bottle of wine and 2 non alcoholic cocktails. The service was poor and we waited ages for each corse. Then we asked for the bill… nearly £500!!!!!! My husband questioned the he bill, £60 service charge £150 for Tomahawk steak and £160 chateaubriand!!!! £8 per position of under cooked tiny position of chips! And it was 50% of night! We were not informed about the weight of our meat so just assume they saw us coming and picked out the biggest joints!!!! Absolute rip off and poor quality food!!! Will not be returning!!!!!

Friday 17th January, dinner service. Friendly welcome. Our table loved the decor and the chairs especially! Our table was by the door and window, and it did feel quite chilly. One of our party brought this to the attention of the staff, and was told that the heating was on in that area. When I do come back (I definitely will) il ask not to sit by the windows. Now the food: Whilst there was a wait in between courses, the food was spot on! Sticky Lamb crumpet and cow cigars were delicious. Myself and my friend had the CP plate of meat, steak cooked to our likings and it was absolutely delicious!!! The sides were nice too, like the roasted broccoli and creamed spinach and sweet potato fries. No room for desserts. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed my food and my drinks. The lamb I ordered was a little chewy but overall tasted great. The staff are friendly too. Bathrooms are very clean. We enjoyed our visit here.

Absolutely shocking!! What chef if you can call him one can’t even make a Yorkshire pudding!!! I told the clueless waiters to take it back and stick a candle in it as a birthday cake!!!! Both waiters were clueless and didn’t know nothing about the restaurant food!!!! Especially the beef I know my beef, We left there and went to a wheather spoons for food and it was miles better

We are total 4 members went to the resturant We had an amazing dinner at Cow & Pig Restaurant! The cozy atmosphere and friendly service set the tone for a fantastic meal. The smoked ribs were tender and flavorful, and the steaks were cooked to perfection with a delicious charred crust. The sides, like the creamy mushrooms and roasted potatoes complemented the meats wonderfully. Every dish showed a great balance of flavors and high-quality ingredients. For dessert, the cheesecake was the perfect sweet finish. Whether you're a meat lover or just craving a hearty meal, Cow & Pig delivers an outstanding dining experience that I highly recommend..

Some of the best steak around! Great atmosphere, brilliant service and amazing selection of steak. Cooked exactly to your liking. We had the tomahawk 1300grams - exceptional Gravy and peppercorn sauce was just beautiful. Must visit if you love steak! Can't fault them at all

We booked their Xmas menu for a party of 12. The meal price went up between the initial enquiry and paying the none refundable deposit. The full amount, plus service charge, had to be paid a week in advance. The table was booked for 6.30pm. We were advised that if we weren't seated by 7, the table would be released. For a Saturday night, there were very few others in the restaurant. The service was indifferent. We had to ask them to hold the deserts otherwise we would have finished our 3 course meal in less than an hour. They took an initial drinks order, but after then it was a case of trying to find someone who would serve us as all the staff kept disappearing. No atmosphere at all. We left just after 10, but they had put up the closed sign well before then. Won't be going back. And the light wasn't working in the disabled toilet.

Went for Sunday roast at 4pm, lovely setting but felt the food had been kept warm as veg was ‘flimsy’! Meat was cold & so was the gravy…not impressed. Only 2 staff on & very slow service…got the impression they were inexperienced . Disappointed as encouraged family to go there after having fantastic Sunday lunch there 2/3 years ago. Don’t think we will be returning 👎🏻

I am pleased to be there at the day and time. It was a lovely Sunday roast and the only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the food wasn't warm enough or got cold quickly.

Possibly the best takeaway burger I've had. Definitely the best in Bromley that I've had so far. Wings were amazing, chips literally perfect. Portions were big, especially since the prices were not extortionate. Can't really ask for any more!

Food was OK but very expensive for what it is.had ribs they were full of fat! Puddings dry and sticky toffee pudding taste more like a dry ginger cake. Come out and hot a parking ticket just to add to our ridiculous bill. Won't be returning.

We went there for a friend's wedding party and the spare room at the back is a great size for a function with a separate bar. Food was a highlight as everything I tried was delicious.

Booked a meal for a party of 10, week days are 2-1 on cocktails but received a message with link explaining that 2-1 cocktails will be exempt due to the size of the amount of people, without them even asking the ages of guests. We have x4 minors plus two none drinkers taking that down to just four. Cancelled booking as there are plenty of other steak houses.

We had such a lovely evening at Cow and Pig. Food was excellent, on time and good portion sizes. Special thanks to Joe for the great service! We'll definitely be coming back :)

Thank you for the function room and making the day of our wedding registry so special. All of our guest complimented the food and service. Some said it was the best steak they've had in London. For Italians to complement this highly, the food must be absolutely outstanding. The Rioja was super. The dessert was great. The day was just perfect.

The beef brisket bites were lively as a starter, not too filling. We also had the Nduja meat balls that were very flavoursome but filling with the bread. Main was the porterhouse. Very well cooked but on the expensive side. Chilli and garlic brocoli and creamed spinach was lovely. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Walked past for lunch. Venue stunning! Great choice 2 courses for £15. Delicious. Best service that I have had for a very long term. An attentive, well informed waiter think his name is Joe. Really welcomed. Will certainly return.

Disappointing experience dining at the Cow and Pig, Bromley. Our waiter knew less about the daily/time limited offers/menus than I did, having spent two minutes looking at the website. Too many dishes were off the menu and the two for one cocktails so limited as to be not worth ordering. We had to request the daily menu, which was also very limited. The food was good - but I will not be visiting again any time soon. The staff need training - on their product and customer service.

We dined on a Thursday evening from the daily set menu which proved to be very good value for money along with 241 cocktails. There are various offers throughout the week. The food we had was good and tasty but if we’d paid full price we might have been a little disappointed. The decor is starting to look a little tired. Good friendly service from all the staff we encountered.

Went to cow and pig yesterday, absolutely amazing , I got a large cut of steaks to share with my friends, amazing , the service was very good , the girl was so kind and patient. The only things I would say is they should play more versatile music. Beside that 100% would recommend.

Had a wedding reception meal in function hall 26/3/24 With 20 people as guests at this restaurant and staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating always, communication with event organiser was tough sometimes through email but got there in the end when I could contact her directly on her mobile, staff was amazing though in restaurant , can’t thank them enough for making our special day so lovely, food was amazing . I would come back again defo. ☺️function hall was my dream look for my vision 😍👌🏻🌟

Went for our anniversary and I believe Joe was our server. He was helpful, attentive and very knowledgeable. Food was brilliant, we had the 1kg Chateaubrand steak between us. It was perfectly seasoned, the sides were perfect and so were the drinks. We went before 7 and the steak was 50% off and there were cocktails 2 for 1. As great a deal as this was it hasn’t influenced my scoring. Thanks team, we’ll be back ❤️

Food was good but wouldn't say it deserved the prices charged. There is an allergy menu, not many good options should you have a requirement from what we saw. Service was good but a little slow getting started. Granted, some of our party arrived 20 mins late, but no drinks arrived until just under an hour after being seated. However, this did improve over the visit. It is decorated well and feels comfortable inside however the floors were very sticky under foot, and I certainly wouldn't want to wear sandals in there. Average of £60per person for 2 courses and 2 drinks. Also added a service charge on our bill of £61.85 which was paid in addition to a cash tip. Average experience, I would say, nothing to make it stand out and warrant another visit.

To our surprise we were the Only clients on Friday night. In the menu the offer was already different - 50% off from the second steak. We insisted that we should have the original offer. It was accepted. The waiter was a very friendly person but had zero knowledge. He was not able to tell us was it grass or corn fed beef and where it came from. In many steak houses the expensive cuts are shown to the clients. We just received a menu with available cuts and weight. We decided to go for 1 kilo bone in prime rib. We ordered medium and it was grilled as requested. It was served sliced. Not bad but nothing special - home cooking level. The wine list is poor - cheap and not interesting wines at triple price from retail price. All food was OK. The interesting part was a bill - The 12.5% service charge was calculated wrongly with extra 6 pounds. This is the fist time in my life I see that computer is cheating. We spent their about 2 hours and when we left at 8PM the restaurant was still empty. I do not know how they survive.

We go out to eat very often and it is getting ridiculous how expensive it is everywhere. However, we went here on Sunday. The starters were good and I wanted the roast. However, they had run out of lamb (it was only 1 o'clock) and I was pretty disappointed so I opted for the beef roast. I wanted cauliflower cheese with it too - they had also ran out of that. We dined yesterday and all I can say is Amazing Steak!! We had a feast and Cow & Pig did NOT dissapoint! Im still day dreaming about the Creamed spinach! Love the decor and concept. A very Huge shout out to JOE!! incredible service! So friendly and effecient. Very impressed. Thank You Joe. We will be visiting again when back in Bromley.

Midweek dinner for 2 experience: Offers advertised outside on windows and board: something along lines of a good % off midweek dining as well as cocktails 2for1 -were communicated by lovely waitress as NOT available on the evening, no reason behind it. We stayed as my Significant Other was looking forward to his steak. Full price drinks ordered were still 3/4 when cleared off table while we were chatting away- neither of us noticed them disappearing but my Significant Others cocktail was brought back with an apology. After starters, main courses, wine- no offer of desert menu so unsure if there are any. Throughout the evening we noticed most tables were empty but plenty of walk in customers were turned away. On the food side - nice ribs, tried but could have skipped meatballs and chicken altogether. Have ordered two rare steaks of which one arrived medium, I have not returned it.

Amazing food, and even better service from all the staff especially Joe. Always smiley and there to see if you need anything. We’ve been twice in the last few weeks and it is definitely our new place to go. 5*****

Visited as a walk in at 6pm Saturday, was told we couldn't be accommodated... 90% of the tables were empty. Branded, down the road were happy to take us instead - a much better option!

My hubby’s a real foodie and he was really impressed so that’s saying something! He had the short ribs, says they were cooked perfectly. Me and my son had the Cheeseburgers which were great. Thanks guys, great food, great service.

Completely overpriced steaks that look and taste like boiled meat. Better going somewhere else or making food at home yourself, it will be cheaper and better.

First time going, my missus booked for my birthday meal. Food and drinks are amazing! Best steak in the area! Although once our waiter gave us dessert menus, we waited for 30 minutes and I had to ask for the bill as our parking was going to run out. I then asked about booking for 7 people and instead of making the booking and taking a deposit the food runner just asked me to leave a written note with details... there didn't seem to be a visible floor manager to help with the booking either.

Really good food! I'm a BBQ chef back home so I really appreciate well seasoned and well cooked meat - that's exactly what we got at the Cow & Pig! Great flavour, well impressed! The poor lad working that evening (4th Oct) was on his own but still did an amazing job and kept smiling. Great decor, great service and fantastic food - Thanks!

I took my parents for a meal to Cow and Pig on a Saturday night (14/10/23), having been once before. It was amazing - the food was incredible but the entire night was made brilliant by the service. There was one waiter working on his own all evening serving many tables and he did a really amazing job - he was so knowledgable about the food and despite being really busy, was incredibly attentive, friendly and didn’t make you feel a burden or in a rush to leave. Apologies as I didn’t get his name but he was absolutely fantastic! Will definitely be returning soon :)

We booked a Sunday roast online via book a table thinking the menu looked ok and reasonably priced. We wanted to go somewhere near the cinema as we’d booked to see a film afterwards. When we arrived the menu presented to us was different and 25% more expensive than the menu on book a table. We eat out a lot and don’t mind paying for a good value meal but this annoyed us. We complained and to be fair the waiter was apologetic and offered us a meal at the advertised price on book a table. We ordered chicken and lamb and I can only the describe the meal as poorly presented and cheap kebab style cuts of meat. The vegetables and roast potatoes were tasty but this does not justify the meat it was served with. It was also very odd that a chicken roast doesn’t come with stuffing. We later noticed this is an add on For £3.50 !! The wine was extortionate as well as the service charge which although we paid it, left a bad taste. We went to marco Pierre white recently and paid not much more than this for a 3 course exceptional meal with drinks!! We won’t be going back. Overpriced, cheap cuts of meat. Had we not been offered the old menu price. We would have left. We wont be returning which is a shame as it’s local for us but the fact is they are charging central London prices with inferior offerings.

A very average experience. Starters were OK but the roast was disappointing. Not impressed with the fried veggie burger as a vegetarian option. Carrots were solid and the only other veg was some bland cabbage. No surprise it was practically empty on a Sunday lunchtime.

Just an average meal. Service was not the best. Had to constantly ask for drinks and our order to be taken. Even then the waiter kept walking of before we had finished ordering. Made us feel like we was a hassle being there. In fact all the staff looked fed up and not happy to be working there. Will not be returning. Nothing special about this place and definitely not a place to be having a birthday celebration. That's the trouble with places that have service charge added to the bill. The staff don't have to be bothered about earning it! Overall felt this place was a massive let down

Our 2nd time around to eat at this restaurant. All their food were very delicious. I had the bbq ribs and my boyfriend got the Sunday roast which we both finished right away. A must try in Bromley!

This restaurant does not disappoint! Firstly the place is so beautiful! The whole look of the restaurant inside makes such a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for date nights! We have been here twice in the space of 2 weeks and each time we was served by joe who was very efficient, professional and checked often if we wanted to order any more drinks and gave us time to enjoy ourselves without being rushed. The cocktails are so moreish, they are delicious and even better they are 2 for 1 on some of them at certain periods of the day so it was worth it! The food was amazing, we tried something different each time we have come and still haven’t had a single bad dish and only made us want more. The servings are generous and filling so you get your moneys worth. We did spend £150 between us both however we had ordered two starters, two mains, one desert and we also ordered 5 cocktails each! Overall, this has become one of our top restaurants and will be back again soon no doubt! Thank you to all the staff!

If i could give a 0 i would. We arrived to the restaurant 15 mins late due to traffic and was then told at 2:50 our orders won’t be taken until after 4pm and served after which is ridiculous. How can 15 mins have such such an impact we can’t even order till after an hour. the staff were not helpful and felt almost patronising. I should have read the reviews on trip advisor there all below 2 stars. Went to O’Neil’s next door much better service. Would not be returning again

As we walked by the window we noticed the restaurant wasn't very busy, but finished tables hadn't been cleared. We entered but had to wait before any member of staff greeted us. We were shown to probably the smallest table in the restaurant even though they weren't busy. We were given menus & told the drinks menu was at the front. I then sat down & the chair went through a hole in the floor. Once seated we waited nearly 15 minutes to order drinks. Food came reasonably quickly. However, my wife's meal was swimming in oil. We asked about dessert, but they had no sorbet so we declined. We have visited here occasionally over the last 8 years. The decor & furniture haven't changed. Quality of the menu, food & service have all declined, while prices have risen significantly. The imposition of 12.5% service charge is criminal!

My partner and I have been here several times and always loved the steak here but thought we'd try something different. We came here for our 6 year anniversary on the 28/05/2023 and tried the Sunday roast for a change. We were highly disappointed with the food and it's left us doubting coming back. For myself, the beef was so fatty that I could not eat it. The waiter was very nice and got me another portion of beef which was really appreciated and, had no fat on it. The yorkshire pudding was so crispy that not even the gravy softened it. My partner also had the same issues but in addition, pointed out that the presentation of the plated food was not great and hardly eat anything. The photos were not fully roasted. We are both highly disappointed with Cow & Pig and are hoping that things will change for the better very quickly.

Nice restaurant with good service and high quality food. The steak really tender and nicely cooked but the portion could be bigger.Also keep in mind that the service charge is included in your final bill. Would recommend.

Sensational steak restaurant, lacking with service. We visited here with some friends and as soon as we arrived we were told we couldn't order for an hour as they were too busy (baring in mind we had a table booked so they were aware of our arrival way in advance) We requested to have some olives and bread as these don't need cooking and we were very hungry. This took around 20 minutes to come. Even a glass of water took a very long time. The young man serving us did apologise and explained they had a big party in the private room, but again, I'm sure they were aware of the bookings so the manager shouldve ensured there were enough staff on the day to make sure everyone had a pleasant visit. Eventually, when we could order and receive our food, the disappointment was saved by the outstanding steak that was plated in front of us. Each steak was cooked exactly how each of us ordered and was just delicious! I would come back again for the food, but on booking, I would comment on staffing as I wouldn't want to wait such a long time again.

Visited Cow and Pig for my friend's birthday. We were greeted and served by Joe who was absolutely incredible. He took great care to make my friend's birthday a memorable one. He even sang her a happy birthday when bringing her donut cake over. She was so happy that we are all happy to return. Thank you for a great service and tasty meal!

I booked this place for my friend’s birthday. We had an amazing time. The food and cocktails were delicious. Joe our waiter was absolutely fantastic. He was very polite and attentive to ensure that we had a great dining experience. I brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts and candles and he brought this out beautifully presented and even sang happy birthday for my friend. We will definitely be back just because of the treatment we received from Joe. Thank you so much!
