Sorry this place is closed until September yr2024 due to road works on the high street 🤷🏻‍♂️ . But will be going back then sometime.

We visited for the first time on Saturday evening. Really welcoming staff and atmosphere, food was delicious. We will definitely visit again. A nice little gem in Bromley.

Attractive venue. Friendly staff. However, the food wasn’t great 😒 My partner had the brisket which he said was very sweet. I had nachos with chicken & chorizo. Basically it was a pile of tortilla chips poured on to a plate, topped with Luke warm (reheated chicken & chorizo) I have had a dodgy stomach since our visit. Plus mozzarella cheese which cooled quickly to a massive rubber lump. Would have been nicer with cheddar. I left quite a lot. There was no check back for them to address the problem and we were not asked at any point if the meals were okay. The only non alcoholic drink available was Becks Blue. I think they could do with more choice. And staff need to be checking to see if the food is okay. It was 8pm on a Saturday evening and there were only 3 tables with customers I guess that told us something. As I say it’s a nice venue but the quality of food needs addressing.

Food is always excellent every time I come here and the main courses are very good value too. The legend burger and the bbq ribs tend to be my favourites. Staff are friendly (say hi to John and Matilda for me) and the restaurant is comfortable and inviting. Caters well for vegetarians. Portions are very large and takeaway boxes are available if you can't finish. Cons: Drinks and desserts have mark ups and are not great value. Music can be quite loud and it's mix of country, pop, hip hop and classic rock won't be for everyone (though I still tend to enjoy it myself). Not open on Mondays.

My wife and I ate at Texas Jack's. The food was great quality, the portions were good and good value for money. The staff were friendly and good service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

2nd time we've been here now. The food is good here, and the drinks aren't watered down. The service here is AMAZING though both times Chelsea has been great, she made the kids feel really at home and special. Highly recommend and we'll be back soon. Thank You

Thanks to John & Matilda for a fab 13th birthday dinner for my daughter & 9 of her friends! Fajitas, ribs, mocktails were all superb!

I’d like to say a massive thank you to John and Matilda for their fantastic friendly service and especially giving my 9yr old daughter what she calls the best night of her life. Food was as always amazing!

The food was lovely, John and Matilda were brilliant, Matilda went the extra mile and absolutely made my granddaughters night, all the staff made it a really memorable evening.

This is a great restaurant, great food. John my waiter was extremely polite and helpful. Totally recommend this place .

While traveling we picked this place for dinner. The menu looked nice but we were really surprised by how good the food was. Usually vegetarian options taste a bit like an afterthought. Not so here, really delicious. Our waiter John made us feel very welcome and gave the visit the little extra that let us enjoy our evening a lot. We’ll definitely come back when in the area.

Absolutely awful service! Came here with my kids as a Saturday treat. Ordered a burger and chips for myself and the price was ASTONISHING for what it is - the chips still tasted like potatoes and the meat was awfully seasoned and I don’t say this lightly. It was salty to the point it was inedible. The mock tails were good but the price certainly wasn’t! The waiters looked like they were in a grumpy mood and I don’t blame them because the management looks awful. I told a waiter about the taste of the chips and they acknowledged it and then got distracted by another customer! I understand waters are busy but customer service should be top priority. It took me 20 minutes just to find a member of staff and ask them where the ketchup is. If Texas is anything like this restaurant then I’m staying as far away as I can from it.

Excellent food and service. The Louisiana ribs were exceptional and the quantities are very good. The place is very cosy too. Totally recomendable

We were served by John, Sam and Matilda and had a great evening here. We will definitely be returning soon!

OMG, that Tomahawk is unbelievable!!!!!! The price, flavours, size and value is incredible, shared between 2 people but easily could be shared between 4 people. Definitely bigger than expected. So succulent and juicy!!!! We had it with Louisianna wings and nachos, so full after.

I came here with my husband and both of us had a fab time. The Lamb Shank and Pull Pork Burrito were delicious. John who looked after us was very friendly and attentive. Lovely music played throughout the evening. We loved the bar too!

When I arrived at this resturant I was so stressed out with some personal issues, I was seated by a staff member who literally changed my mood, She was vibrant and made me feel so welcome. I ate some delicious food and drunk a few alcoholic beverages that made me forget my stresses. In all Texas Jacks is a warm, vibrant place that definitely satisfies your tastebuds. I will be returning, and would recommend it without hesitation.

My go to restaurant in Bromley no matter the day or weather. Hosted my birthday dinner here and they effortlessly handled a table of 20+ people. Amazing service, amazing atmosphere and overall always an excellent dining service. Thank you for making my dinner a fab one. I will always be back.

We visited on Saturday 8th June 2024 for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent, especially our server John. He was very friendly and outgoing. Had a lovely conversation about him moving from America and how authentic Texas Jacks is. The portions are just like in America…. HUGE. This place is so good, I’ve even booked my stag do here. Will definitely to back.

Came here for a quick lunch break. The food was good. Very tasty. Well seasoned and served in a timely manner. The server John, was excellent. He was friendly and attentive. Wanted to tip him, but they don’t take card tips, unfortunately. Highly recommend.

Food is absolutely amazing in this place. Have eaten here 4 times in the last month and the food has consistently been fantastic. The drinks and service is spot on. This is a great restaurant in the ever so restaurant populated Bromley. The kilo Tomahawk is the best I have had and even beats those from New York and around tye US! Really well done to you guys. They have beer on tap and very reasonaly priced. Cocktails are only 8.95 & Beers £7.75. We will be back soon.

We had a family meal in there today as a family of 6 and the food was amazing the service by John and Elle were amazing. This was my second visit and would definitely go back again. I took family who said they would come back as well

Went to Texas Jacks for my husbands birthday. Was a Wednesday night so not busy, music blaring a bit too loud but sure. Food was really nice, my issue is with the drinks. A pint of Budweiser is £8.95! Are you freaking kidding me! A pint of beer is more expensive than a cocktail (£8.50) and is listed as £4.95 on their online menu. I have never in my life paid that much for a beer, the average cost of a pint in central London is £6.75. A pint of cola was £4.95. These are rip off prices and why I won’t be going back. It’s a shame as the food was great and service was decent.

After the first time I knew I will come back there as the menu provides so many options and all of them sound delicious. If you are a rib fan you found your place! All other meals including mocktails were fantastic. Brilliant service 👏

My partner and I dined here yesterday, Sunday 5 May. As always they did not disappoint. Lamb chops dish perfect with my favourite garnish...YUM. My partner had the sea bass...Great. We even joked about having the meals again!!! It is my go to place in Bromley. Love it. Emily was a great host and chef hubby brilliant. See you soon.😘🥳💯

First time here and, as a lover of BBQ ribs, was keen to see if they lived up to all the positive reviews. Was not disappointed, the ribs fell off the bone, and the accompanying chips/fries, coleslaw, corn and wonderful macaroni cheese made a great meal,. Initially, the ribs were served warm rather than hot (these things happen) so I brought this to the attention of our waitress who sorted it out immediately (very efficient and no fuss) and gave us a free cocktail for the small inconvenience. Speaking of the cocktails, we had about 5 as they were so good. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful evening and we will most definitely return. Finally, the one and only small negative was that (where we were sitting (directly below a speaker) the music was at times a tad loud.

Calm atmosphere on entering, seated immediately. Ordered starters which were good value for money. Main - burger - which looked appetising however was quite messy. Would maybe consider coming again to try another dish.

Came here with my boyfriend’s family, tried the lamb shank because it was new on the menu, it was absolutely delicious!! I barely had to use my knife because it was just so buttery soft, melt in your mouth type beat!! Great service, felt very taken care of by staff, and serving sizes were huge !! Definitely recommend the shank!

Went here last night before theatre, staff were welcoming and food was absolutely delicious, we had fajitas, I also had a couple of cocktails … ok … 3 and they were spot on, I highly recommend eating here and it was really good value for money, I will definitely be going back real soon. We were a table of 2 and found when we removed the flower we had justttttt. Enough room. Keep up the good work amazing staff and chef

I rarely write reviews but I wanted to save people from eating hard earned money. The food was so underwhelming. The calamari had no taste the batter was poorly made and the dip added no extra flavour. The vegetarian burrito was absolutely disgusting, with large chunks of carrot and the stem of the broccoli. The melted cheese would have been better inside the burrito and not on top. Not enough filling, just bread. The only positive was the rice and salad. For £13.90 it wasn't good value. The cocktails were badly made, cheap alcohol, my friend and I weren't able to drink the salted caramel cocktail. Thankfully the staff had the decency to not charge us. Very disappointed and am gutted that I've wasted my money and such a lack lustre meal. I went be in a hurry to go back.

Ordered tomahawk steak medium rare, and was cooked perfectly despite being a thick cut. Calamari was also delicious! The atmosphere was also very good with music that enhanced the vibe rather than overpower. Bonus, servers were very friendly and accommodating.

I walked past the restaurant one day and saw the flyer and notice board outside and thought I had to try it …so I went back and had the tomahawk steak and nachos …the steak was 1kg, medium …cooked to perfection. I’ve been to other popular named steak restaurants and this one outdoes it by far. I came from out of town to go to the theatre and would thoroughly recommend eating here..great background music too and very friendly staff

Steak was incredible, I’m a a sauce deviant and can’t eat food without sauce but the crust on the Tomahawk was so delicious that I purposely didn’t ruin it with the delicious peppercorn sauce. Bromley Stunner cocktail was amazing too!

I went there today with my family (it was our nan’s 84th birthday) There were 14 of us. All the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. I had the BBQ ribs and the meat was so tasty. Could probably say they were the best ribs I can remember ever having Everyone else said the food was so good I definitely recommend this place

Absolutely divine. The location is ideal, the cleaniness is fantastic and the wait staff are magical. The FOOD! IS INCREDIBLE! Very fresh ingredients, portions bigger then you expect and mouth full of flavour. After having seen a show up town, my friend and me came back to Bromley to eat. This is our second time at this restaurant and again received great food and service. I’m a vegetarian and ordered the hallomi burger meal which was delicious and more than adequate regarding the portion size! Felt very full up! Also excellent value for money. The ambiance was great with an eclectic range music chosen by the chef; excellent choice in music. Our server/ host Jon was amazing! Always on the go and delivered a high customer service to everyone! He even had time to sit and chat briefly with us. Will definitely come back again

Service from staff was lovely and they where very attentive. Cocktails where also quite strong and tasted great. Unfortunately the food was not great I would probably not return in the future. Calamari was a bit undercooked and the king prawns very oily.

Descent place to go and have lunch the moctails are very tasty. I had the Pina colada mocktail with a Caesar salad which was tasty and filling.

We have come to Texas Jacks maybe 6-7 times now and every single time we have had nothing but exceptional food, we always try something different from the menu, and quite often our response is: ‘is there nothing they can’t do!’ Emily is beyond helpful and always goes above and beyond for everyone, we even have the brisket done ‘Erin’s Way’! Music is always great, cocktails are fab and every time we fancy a meal out, our usual response is Texas Jacks - we will be back very soon I’m sure Thanks guys for always making our time there fantastic Erin and Harri

We had a nice experience. The food was really nice, the waiting staff professional and accommodating. I think the mocktails were a bit expensive but they were nice. We'll come back.

Food delivered on cold plates. Food was over seasoned and far too rich for the amount given, and it was cold by the time you got to finish it, due to cold plates. Waiter tried to remove plates before we had all finished eating and didn't understand why this was a problem, perhaps more training is needed. It was a nice Christmassy atmosphere.

Nice varied menu, tasty food and really friendly, helpful staff. A bit chilly, I think the heating was broken, but we will return again. Had the king prawn fajitas which arrived with prawns, caramelised onions and peppers sizzling on a hot plate with separate warmed pancakes to build ourselves. The beef brisket was tender and tasty. Onion rings were a little bland, but the other food was lovely.

Had an amazing time at a friends birthday day. Our waitress Emily was amazing, She kept us happy and full. She was an such a blast. Thanks Emily :)

I had the most amazing experience here last Saturday night! the atmosphere, service and food were all outstanding. The girls working that evening were so friendly and really pro active, always asking how the food was and checking my table, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Despite it being so busy they still managed to serve at a high standard. Really good work to the manger for picking such hard working young ladies to work there, i chose the fajitas which i highly recommended. Thanks once again Texas Jacks, I’ll be back !!!

Food was amazing. Really nicely done and didn’t have to wait long. The biggest issue we had was that all the staff members are barely fresh out of school, and rather than serving people, they hide behind the bar chatting and giggling avoiding eye contact so you don’t call them over. I struggled to order drinks and the starter plates were still On our table when the main come. The chef did come out the kitchen once and I feel he felt my annoyance and seemed to have sent on of the young waitresses to our table. I don’t feel as though it’s good enough and I’ve been a regular here for years and I don’t think I’ll come back. I did also mention to the young mixed race girl that I wasn’t happy with the service as I’ve been waiting a long time to order a drink and she replied ‘oh’. No apology, nothing. Hire some staff that have some experience and are willing to work, because when I last visited it was like gossip girls behind the bar. Unprofessional and disappointing from Texas Jacks!

We had friends get together and wanted to go local. Not been to Texas Jacks before but was recommended. We didn’t think they would be busy as Bromley seems to be really quiet these days. However, when we arrived at 7:45 the place was packed!!! A cowgirl greeted us at the door and informed we would need to wait 20 minutes for a table of 6 to be free (we really should have booked) we then ordered cocktails and Sangria at the bar. The drinks were banging and I knew then it was going to be a good night. As you walk in, the old county music hits you and you are instantly transported to a Texas Saloon!! The sizzling fajita that were being taken to a table arouses all your taste buds and went from being hungry to staving. I knew fajita was going to be my food. 🤤😋I was salivating! The staff are extremely friendly and can tell they love their job. The bartender lady, I think her name was Emily was super great, she is the Picasso of bartenders. Food is seriously exceptionally amazing and fresh. We had mixture of tapas of prawns, nachos, wings, bravas, calamari, ribs. For mains, obviously I had to have the fajita. The beef ribs and brisket were demolished by the group . They have Tomahawk but after the amount of staters it was not even near possible for anyone to attempt on this occasion. The burgers looked delicious! The music playlists was fantastic. The ambience and crowd were also great. We found our new local hangout! Thank you to the staff. We most certainly will be back! This is truly a new love affair! ❣️🏆

Out 2nd time here & had to wait well over an hour for our food. The 1st waitress took our order then apparently went home, as we were told by 2nd sever, so reordered again, waited ages for food, no sorry from anyone, no discount & still waited 90mins for food. Music was mega loud, no atmosphere. Not cheap, won't be coming back..

Just had the best night EVER!! We came here on Saturday with a large group. Most of us had the steaks and we were all very impressed with the quality & presentation. The food here is seriously excellent and great value for money. The service is equally fantastic. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. The county music & Texas saloon feel is phenomenal. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to my daughter who turned 25, one she will never forget 😁. I have just booked for the office Christmas party & really looking forward to the same experience. Thank you all at Texas Jack's for your amazing hospitality.

Food was lovely, but the music was consistently so loud that we could not enjoy any conversation. The young ladies serving us only turned the music down a little and only for a few minutes. It ruined what should have been a lovely birthday gathering.
