The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

Went into Greggs about 5.00pm, was pretty quiet. I had no problems with any staff, they were polite, however my problem was with the food. So we ordered two drinks, two sausage rolls and a novelty cake/bun for my daughter. After packing our sausage rolls, the man then asked what novelty bun we would like. While my daughter choosing there were three big dirty flies flying all around the cakes (possibly been around the sausage rolls too). I was hesitant to still purchase the cake but because of my anxiety i felt i couldn’t change my mind because of a fly. Even the customers behind me were saying ‘eww look at the flies’. Safe to say my daughter did not eat the cake, i threw it away as soon as i got home. However because we were on a day trip, being 6 months pregnant i was on the verge of passing out if i didnt eat. So after really close inspection i decided to eat the sausage roll. However all i could think about was how i hope it doesn’t make me poorly…WELL fast forward a few hours i had horrendous nausea and stomach pain. I had diarrhoea and sickness that evening/night. Could have been a coincidence but then again, there were A LOT of flies landing on food. I am so glad i didn’t allow my daughter to eat her cake that day.

Pas comme en France encore une fois... ici le goût est là. Bon, ça restera toujours du poulet qui ne voit pas la lumière du jour et qui est gavé d’antibio, en un mot du poulet de m... pour cela -2 étoiles

i’ve been there with my boyfriend and jt was ok. we were disappointed because the smoothies we got didn’t look like the ones on the menu. they were fine though.

¡El personal fue muy amable en esta tienda! Lamentablemente, el sabor de las rosquillas fue muy variable, en su mayoría no excelente. Matcha: muy seco, no sabía mucho a matcha. Amo el matcha y me decepcionó mucho. El peor que probé. Trufa de chocolate oscuro: no muy buena, pero mejor que la matcha, todavía demasiado seca. Casi comestible. Mermelada de frambuesa: ¡la mermelada estuvo excelente! Compraría frascos de mermelada solo. La rosquilla en sí está bien. En general, no es demasiado agradable. Maní: excepcional. Ni siquiera me gusta la mantequilla de maní, así que era escéptico, pero esto era absolutamente delicioso. Textura y humedad perfectas. Una generosa porción de maní tostado encima fue divina. Me sorprendió mucho lo mucho que me gustó esto. La mejor dona que he probado en mucho tiempo. El único sabor que consideraría comer de nuevo. Perfección. En general, no entiendo el bombo publicitario y, excepto el del maní, los huesos de lo anterior valen los precios altos.

I’ve just eaten my Tr Spice food - it’s the second time I’ve ordered from them & both times I’ve been disappointed with the portion size. Each Friday I get a takeaway & normally spend £30 for x2 adults & x1 child.I’ve just spent £30 & I’m still hungry. Yes the food is tasty but I can’t afford to spend £30 & not be full. I am right now VERY upset. I’m looking at the lamb chops & x2 sides for when my husband comes in from work & I know that’s not going to full him. We’re not big people but the portions need to fill hard working people! Am I really moaning? That’s how I feel right now - upset.

Can be good for veg and does some authentic Chinese pak choi type dishes. When good very good when bad ..... well my daughter did not enjoy her take away and not been back since

You couldn’t find a slower waffle service in London if you went out and bought a waffle maker, made the batter and cooked it yourself.

Comida de una pieza a un precio decente. Las patatas fritas eran sabrosas y frescas, el pollo un poco seco. Probablemente probaría una hamburguesa la próxima vez.

Delicious food but the ordering process was stressful. The music was blaring and the server was stressed. When the order arrived, half of it was missing. The manager checked our receipt and we hadn’t been charged for the missing items but all the same my friend didn’t get his food. Maybe I f the music was turned down, the servers would be able to hear the customers.

No puedo llamar exactamente a Costa o su competencia, Nerón, cafeterías italianas, pero eso es todo lo que tenemos en Gran Bretaña, ¿no? Los postres se ven un poco tristes y no muy deliciosos (definitivamente no como esas fotos) y el lugar se ve sucio, pero ese es el promedio británico: ventanas manchadas, vitrinas manchadas, etc. Cada vez que hay griegos o italianos trabajando, sus niveles de higiene son mucho mejores. . Compro mi café o té allí con bastante frecuencia porque esa es la opción que tengo cuando estoy allí. Toda la cadena podría necesitar una gran renovación.

Good service and clean place but food was only average, 2 of our group ended up leaving their meals. and at nearly £13 each, not good value.

Fries were cold & not nicely brown in parts, the potatoes were either old or simply bad. Quick service & the rest of our meal was fine, as i say typically McDonald's. Seating was clean, toilets also clean.

Went there a few months ago and wasn’t impressed, lots of choices of steak, but they were premium prices but not matching quality
