We called in for a breakfast before visiting the Maritime Museum. We were served up a great fry-up which kept us going all day. The staff were very friendly. The premises were pleasant and clean And the prices were good.
Thank you Cafe Number 9👍
We rode our bikes from Llanelli along the old railway line cycle path to Tumble. What a lovely surprise to find that the small village of Tumble has such an excellent cafe. We sat at an outside table in the sunshine, found the owner to be very helpful and are happy to recommend others to visit.
First time trying the chocolate crunch and it was f****ing banging absolutely wouldn recommend especially if you’ve had a smoke it’s just so yummy 10/10 recommendation and the prices are good aswell

Came here for some lunch with my sister. We both had the tuna jacket potatoes. Plenty of toppings and a lovely meal overall. Staff very attentive. Got some lovely cannolis from the show downstairs too.
8 of us visited the restaurant. Thought it was quiet only 3 teenage girls there. .... Perhaps there was a reason ..... .......🤔
Ordered our food. Ribs .... only Two ribs on the plate mostly bone, not a lot of meat grossly overpriced at £14 and £5 for dirty fries. ( Bowl of frozen chips with a sprinkling of topping. )😱
Other food ordered was the meat platter. Again for £28 inluding 2 side dishes it was not good value as not a lot of meat. Burgers seemed ok but overpriced. 😱😱
The final nail in the coffin was being charged for several side dishes which were inclusive . When pointed out the bill was amended but no apology.😱😱😱
Only saving grace was no bar so we bought alcohol from the garage opposite. 😀
Needless to say we will not be returning.
Came to the yew tree for the carvery after the reviews on here and Google. When we arrived we noticed it wasn't called the yew tree but something else (something munchies?). Anyway we couldn't see a carvery so just ordered Sunday lunch off the menu. They said we could order a mix of the meats, but they had no turkey so I ordered beef and pork. The meals came and everything was out of a frozen packet, nothing was fresh or home made apart from the cauliflower cheese. The meat was the sliced meat you buy in a packet to put on a sandwich! Gravy very watery too. I'm not fussy and was starving so ate it all, but was very disappointed.
Went for brunch with friends. Ordered a cheese toastie, the worse toastie I've ever had. Plastic cheese that looked like melted plastic & tasted just as bad, bread as thin as paper & the toastie machine must have been smaller than the bread as only the middle of the bread was toasted the rest of the bread was just plain bread. Friends had sausage sandwiches which were just as vile.
The incredible view, the awesome food and highly attentive staff made this a gem of a find. Thank you all for making this a most pleasurable experience on our journey through this quiet backwater of a former industrial landscape. The whole experience can only be described as breathtaking. Thank you everyone! It really was the best! Sat on the terrace eating breakfast in the sun made this the highlight of our circular trip around this beautiful part of Wales.
If i xould put no starts i would!!! I had a stale rock hard tuna baguette which was inedible, steak pasty with 2 pieces of meat and dry as hell and expensive as hell. Really disappointed. Done a 14 hour shift travelled 2 hours to Emlyn for training and just wanted a bit of decent lunch. I only went in there because other places were closed. Next time I will just chew on cardboard I'm sure the taste and texture would be better!!!
