The incredible view, the awesome food and highly attentive staff made this a gem of a find. Thank you all for making this a most pleasurable experience on our journey through this quiet backwater of a former industrial landscape. The whole experience can only be described as breathtaking. Thank you everyone! It really was the best! Sat on the terrace eating breakfast in the sun made this the highlight of our circular trip around this beautiful part of Wales.

Nice venue with beautiful views. However, very disappointing buffet. At £8.95 per head, we expected better quality food. Instead we were given large sausages cut into chunks, cold gray sausage rolls, watery squares of tasteless quiche (or was it omelette?), a bowl of cut up chicken masquerading as gujons, mini frozen pizzas, crisps (!) and some ok sandwiches. Not enough cake to go round and instant, powdered coffee! A terrible shame when you think what we could have had for £716.

The Sunday carvery at the golf club is the best in the area. Choice of 3 meats and nut roast option for vegans. What makes it the best is the fantastic range of veg available. Last visit we had roast potatoes, roast parsnips, mash, red cabbage, green beans, carrots, swede, peas, cabbage, cauliflower cheese and the usual stuffing and Yorkshire puds. The starters are not the best but the desserts were lovely!

Great place to have Sunday lunch, on a nice day great views, top class carvery, we also held my Mothers wake here, when she passed away earlier this year.

Called here for Sunday lunch today 4 adults a child & baby..could not fault it..food..staff..views absolutely fab..very reasonable as well.Our 4yr old grandson had a free meal as under 5..Will definitely be visiting again.

Visited today for Sunday Lunch with my partner and have to describe our meals as special. The roast beef together with all the accompaniments were cooked to perfection, the way it was presented was mouth watering and the taste was immense, with a special mention to the stuffing which was outstanding, we finished our meal of with the Apple crumble and bread& butter pudding, which again was faultless. Congratulations to the chef and his staff for making this visit most memorable!!

Great carvery I been there several times as I live locally and the Sunday lunch is first class , plenty of everything three meats to choose from and loads of roast potatoes and parsnips, with wine and beer very reasonable you just cant go wrong

Excellent food catered for 30 children & adults. Preordered the whole lot & kids meals were a fantastic size & all meals were very tasty & good value for money . A fabulous service by Doreen & her team from Cennen caterers. Pawb yn hapus iawn Diolch I chi X

We had an awesome time at this beautiful venue. The staff were amazing and the food delicious ! We couldn't ask for better and will certainly return again next year !

What an amazing venue and food outstanding. Staff were profesional and very helpful.The food was hot and a good variety to choose from, as for the deserts, well I recommend you go and try them . We were there on a clear sunny day and the views were amazing. Will be going there again..

Had our daughters Christening lunch today at Beacons View, the setting was fantastic, the room was second to none and the food was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. You won't get a better combination of mountain views and quality food like what they have to offer. If you visit try the home made afters! Outstanding. Thank you and we will return.
