Absolutely fantastic visit! We popped out for a nice drive with our dog and he had a great time! Me, my fiancée and our dog were all greeted with a warm welcome. The outside seating area is spacious, Enzo our dog was more than happy chilling with us and customers and staff made sure he was happy and relaxed the whole time. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to go with the dog

Not dog friendly. My dog Charlie and I rode up earlier on today for a late lunch. We were told no dogs inside. There was no other way for me to order food so we left and had lunch in town. There are lots of dog friendly cafes out there, this is not one. do your research. Muddy boots and soaked bikers ok, Cocker Spaniel No. Very Disappointed.

Not dog friendly, was told we can't order from outside. No help offered. Response to my raising this was that they don't offer table service. This makes it impossible to order if you have a dog with you!

Owl’s Nest Tea Room Diner – More Than Just a Café, It’s a Community I’ve been to Owl’s Nest Tea Room Diner a few times now, and every visit reminds me why I love this place so much. It’s not just a café; it’s a hub for bikers, a place where you always get more than your money’s worth—not just in food but in the experience, the atmosphere, and the people you meet. I recently attended the launch of MARK – Motorbikes Acts of Random Kindness here, and it was the perfect venue for such an inspiring event. The turnout was fantastic, with riders from all over coming together for a cause that truly makes a difference. MARK isn’t just about fundraising; it’s about creating a network of support, kindness, and generosity within the biking community. And Owl’s Nest embodies that same spirit—welcoming, down-to-earth, and always ready to support a good cause. The food, as always, was spot on. Generous portions, great quality, and prices that make you feel like you’re getting a bargain. Whether it’s a hearty breakfast to start your ride or a well-earned lunch after a long journey, you know you’re in for a treat. But what really makes Owl’s Nest stand out is the people. It’s a place where you’re never just a customer; you’re part of the family. Conversations flow easily, friendships are made, and whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’re treated like you belong. If you’re a biker—or just someone who appreciates good food and great company—this place is a must-visit. And if you ever get the chance to attend an event like the MARK launch, do it. Because places like Owl’s Nest and causes like MARK remind us that biking is about more than just the ride—it’s about community, kindness, and looking out for one another. Can’t wait for my next visit!

It's okay, tbh nothing amazing in my opinion, only reason I got there is for the motorcycle meet ups and riders. Coffee is not the best, and it's very dated in styling. The price is average to high. Food looks like cafe food. Overall a great meeting point for bikers as a large carpark with outside seating but if that wasn't there it would be as popular.

Owl's Nest is very special. From the moment you pull in, and find plenty of parking, you feel welcome. We're bikers and always find lots of other bikers here, whatever time of day we arrive. There's plenty of chance to look at the bikes and chat. The team are pretty special, and Ian is always ready to welcome (and tease) you. We feel like we can be ourselves here. Totally relaxed. The rest of the team are great and we've had nothing but outstanding service. And if you're serious about your breakfast or your burgers, you won't be disappointed!

The Owls Nest is extremely popular with motorcycle riders, many (but by no means all) of whom are retired gentlemen, and retired gentlemen tend not to be led by trends or fashion and are also intolerant of poor food and service. Knowing all this and also that the area around Llandovery is filled with excellent motorcycling roads, I made the two hour ride to the Owls Nest to sample the food and selected the Big Breakfast. I am not keen on black pudding, so this was omitted from my breakfast and some extra bacon replaced it. The service was fast, the portion was generous and the taste was excellent. I was eating in the covered area outside as the sun was out and even in early November there was a degree of warmth to it. However, eating outside in November means that even the hottest meal can cool quite quickly, but this was not an issue as both the plate and food were piping hot when they arrived. You had better have a decent appetite, or be a highly experienced breakfast eater as this is a substantial plate of tasty food and I enjoyed every mouthful. In addition, I bought two custard slices to take home with me. They were absolutely delicious and put me seriously in my wife's good books.

I’m a vegetarian. They have a menu that offer a range of vegan food which is fab , or would be fab if they didn’t cook it on the same grill as the meat. The lady who served me offered me a bagel or sandwich as an alternative however the eggs would be fried again on the same griddle as the sausages burgers etc. they just don’t get the whole veggie thing at all. Don’t advertise vegan when it clearly isn’t!

Mmm I think my expectations were too high for this place, after all it has had a lot of praise. Nice large car park and still open after 4pm on a Sunday, the cafe is a relatively old and small wooden building with about half a dozen small tables inside but plenty of outdoor seating which was covered, good protection from the sun but I wouldn’t want to be out there in the rain. I was disappointed to see a bottle of 500ml coke was £2.20 and because it was late I opted for a pasty which was only £3.75 but it must have been sitting in the warmer all day because it was dried to a crisp. I guess I should have ordered something else because other reviews of the food have been excellent.. plus I didn’t complain so they never had a chance to resolve. The chap at the till was pleasant and helpful. In all I’ll give it another try but my expectations will be much lower mainly because the building itself it not to impressive.
