This has recently become my favourite pub. I always recommend the food, they do great portion sizes and it tastes brilliant! Staff are friendly. We like that it has a little beer garden for nice days, and an upstairs area to play pool.

I love this place. I've been living really close to this place for the majority of my life and have never been there before but pleasantly surprised with the place. The food is great, the staff is fantastic and everything is reasonably priced too (which is a big deal these days). I am comfortable to say that this place is becoming my favourite place to be.

Absolutely amazing!! The owner's friend took care of us even thought they weren't cooking they let us order and even helped us resolve an issue with it. The food is also amazing- we've been here multiple days and has many variations- veggie friendly!! Come here if you can!!

Food is usually amazing from here. Unfortunately today the food I received was awful, the bun fell apart it was so soggy and there were pieces of red PLASTIC INSIDE the burger! Unfortunately because of this I will no longer be using this restaurant again

Nice traditional pub. Quality selection of beers too. Dog friendly in the bar. Sky sports. Can't fault it

Can't knock it for the warmth we had from Leanne, who made us feel at home. Poured a brilliant pint of Guinness and had the heartiest meal from the chef.

Lovely Sunday dinner , only thing I didn't like and stopped it from being 5 stars were the sprouts ,they tasted frozen ones which were very squidgy in centre , and roasties should be old potatoes, will be returning , staff very helpful

Waited a hour for them to cook my food because they couldn’t start my order until they assigned a driver I cancelled my order and they still toke £23 off me I’m tamping

A hidden gem tucked away in a residential street, first impression was good, very clean and tidy. Ordered food from a varied and impressive menu, decided on cajun chicken, best i have tasted this side of louisiana followed by cheesecake with cream, ladies it will ruin your figure and play havoc with your diet plan. Standard of food was far higher than I expected. A good selection of drinks available. The staff were friendly and efficient, a few locals/regulars in the bar so a conversation wasn't hard to find. All in all, was well worth calling. Definitely will be making another visit when I am back in this area.

Been for Sunday lunch today, which was just gorgeous. Staff went above and beyond. So polite and friendly to my boy and myself. Can't recommend the place and staff enough. Also had pizza there a month or two back, which was great too. 👍 Thanks for a great experience.

A little gem in the village of Dafen. Delicious Sunday roasts. A great place to have a drink, something to eat and enjoy a chat. My dad Brian, Dave and myself love it 😀.

Despite asking for gluten free options when booking, and being assured there was a good amount, when I asked they first offered me a plain jacket or oven chips! They felt everything else including meat and vegetables had gluten! I finally after a lot of back and fore to the kitchen I was offered chicken bites and oven chips.A long time later they arrived, the chicken was so over cooked I couldn't get a fork in it, when I showed the waiter how hard they were he just shrugged! 4 of us ate 2 couldn't get a fork in food. Bill arrived and it was £12 more than we calculated, when we queried it the bar man said he had charged for surf and turf twice instead of the scampi the others ate, something he did regularly!!! I would not go again or recommend it to anyone who has allergies, not a safe place to eat!

A good pint, only popped in to watch the footy and had the room to myself. Great in terms of getting served quickly, not so much if wanting an atmosphere. Food is highly rated but didn't try any.
