Room was clean and tidy, was a bit warm. Didn't sleep very well the first night due to the church bells. But I went out and got ear plugs thurs and slept well the next two nights. Would of been nice to have those available and maybe a fan. Only had half a toilet roll when arrived in bathroom and no bathmat. All in all a good 3 nights stay. Close to everything we needed.
Fantastic place, staff members were really helpful and pleasant. Food was great, really tasty and loads of it! Had to bring some home. Would definitely recommend
Very sorry to read today that the TGIF in Swansea will be closing. While visiting the city on three occasions, I ate at the restaurant and always had a good meal with excellent service. I wish the staff there all the best for the future.
Decided to grab a bite to eat while in the market . My wife had corned beef pie chips n peas . The pie had very little corned beef in it .the peas where overcooked and discoloured.Myself had ham egg n chips .The ham was from a packet .very thin what I would call plastic ham .. egg was great nice n runny .the chips left a lot to be desired for ,not that special ...should have really sent the food back .... but will say that the food on the counter looked really nice. Will we eat in that particular car again .Nope not again ..very disappointing
Absolutely loved it, I went there for a coffee and ended up taking a number 2. The lights were working and I was able to empty my system in one force and the relief I felt afterwards was unbelievable. I walked put of the toilets and the staff weren't even fazed about the smell and I couldn't be more grateful for their service. Oh and the coffee and food was nice aswell.
Our table was never properly cleaned. At one point there were eight tables that were not operational. Staff walked past and did not seem to care. I gather in one of the ladies toilet cubicles there was no toilet paper, whilst in the men's one if the hand dryers did not work .
I emailed customer services, pointing out my observation. Guess what the manager has banned me. Do not go to this pub.
The view is amazing and food is nice, however the service is a mess- we ordered starters and desserts and half of my family got the starter while the other half got the dessert first. It was really weird to eat sundae before prawn salad, and even for this service we had to wait a lot, while the restaurant wasnât busy at all. If I go back itâs only for the view
Iâd heard this place had gone downhill but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Safe to say, I wonât be making that mistake again.
There was zero atmosphere. We were seated downstairsâwhich Iâve never had to do beforeâas they apparently donât open the upstairs anymore. The whole vibe felt tired.
The menu was extremely limited. Starters went back. I ordered the monkfish, which came with something unappetising right in the middle of it. When I asked, I was told it was âpart of the membrane.â Iâve eaten plenty of monkfish before and never seen anything like thatâcompletely off-putting.
My main was the seabassâbland and uninspired. Didnât taste fresh, didnât look it either. Wine wasnât great. And the toilets clearly hadnât been cleaned in some timeânot what you expect at this level.
This place used to be a solid choice. Now it feels like itâs running on fumes. I wonât be surprised if itâs closed within the year.
In the area for a concert, went for a pint and stayed for a meal all very nice, friendly staff, clean, really enjoyed our visit will be back if in the area again.
the dessert is been excellent đ
i had the waffle bueno! I really enjoy and it was verry good done. I Spoke with the young lady who made it, Giorgina i belive was her name, to say thank you...and she was very friendly and polite . I wanted to say thank you again to her and all the team on Kaspa's! Job well done đ and see you soon đ
Where do we start phone hotel two weeks before arriving to book the restaurant for my husbandâs birthday. When we arrived they could not find our booking then it was under another name we were informed it was ÂŁ9 a night to book your car into there hotel car park which we paid.
When checking in the place could do with a refurb. We got ready had a drink at the bar and went to reception to find out about our dinner reservations to be told they donât do food and was finding it difficult to get anywhere.
When arriving back that night the double bed consists of two single beds together I donât mind but the mattresses were not the same size but we were tired. On going down for breakfast that was a shambles not enough staff ordered cooked breakfast and brown toast. The plate arrived not one told me it was hot and burnt my fingers and the sausage was raw inside, brown toast did not arrive but ward hard white looking toast came when we were nearly finished.
Next day we went out came back no car park spaces to be told be reception itâs first come first served so why take your money up front they should be numbered was informed we can park at the NCP for ÂŁ15
Next morning checking out decided to just get scrambled eggs and mushrooms with brown toast made a point on check the plate to find out the was stone cold so was the mushrooms, when trying to explain to the staff my plate was whipped away without a sorry to be given another plate with warm mushrooms and undercooked scrambled egg. And again late toast or warm hard bread we did not eat as we were watching one of the staff wiping one of the tables with the bath mat you use when you are stepping out the shower
When confronting the staff in morning of checking out for our refund of the parking we were informed that this was refunded
I had to phone email about 6 times to be sent a copy of my refund when was 0 when looking at this they took the two beers which we thought we paid which was about ÂŁ7 with the vat which should have been ÂŁ2 to be refunded but they put an item regarding the room which balanced the ÂŁ9.00 I emailed them to ask why and we are still waiting on a reply it may only be. ÂŁ2.00 but I would rather give this to a charity that give this hotel anything extra
I know this maybe a long review but please think before you even decide to go there itâs is awful itâs a shame as it could have potential
