Hi, I'm quite disappointed as to how an incident was handles when me and my partner arrived there late lunch yesterday. We had a late walk in appointment which was great and the manager was very accommodating as he was on our last visit. However, when we ordered drinks they arrived and the waiter spilled the drinks at the table which soaked my jeans, cardigan and mobile phone. We had planned to go out into the town area which now we couldnt, and even though there was an appollagy, they charged us for the whole bill including drinks while we were there. Mostly spoiled our night in ffairnessas we had to travel home. We had originally booked for somewhere else, took the chance and payed for it. Excellent food and service.. The quality of the T-BONE STEAKS were outstanding and cooked to perfection. The staff even wrapped the bones up to take home for our dog..

Food took an hour and a half to arrive , with no pre warning of a wait or apology. Ordered a Medium steak which came out raw . I sent the food back took a long time to come back out and by that time my friends had finished their food . Steak came back and was rare ! Never again !

My last visit here was for a birthday meal, after eating here twice in the past I was sure it would be a nice experience. Unfortunately we were met by staff with attitude, a barman who couldn't make an old fashioned properly, used far too much bitters, two small ice cubes and granulated sugar in place of sugar water, the result was an undrinkable cocktail. After complaining I was told that's how you make a proper old fashioned. I refused to pay for the drinks and again was met with more attitude and even poorer service for the rest of the meal. Had to get my own drinks at a table service resturant. Reason for two star reviw instead of one is because the food was great but the service ruined the evening for me to be honest.

Wr were a party of 7....4 of us had steak..I was the last to receive mine and it was wrong yet the waiter expected me to have it which I refused as it was medium not medium well done....I waited 15 minutes and when he brought the steak out I should have refused it but was just to embarrassed as everyone was more or less finished. I was told they would take 10% my steak charge. I only eat about 4 pieces the steak as it was awful it looked like it had stood and then just chucked under the grill. When the bill came I asked the waiter to bring me some foil so I could take the steak home for my dog. I emailed cattle and Co, only to have 1 reply and nothing. I forwarded the photos of my steak. I always go to cattle and Co Llanelli at least once a month and it's amazing. I'm disgusted with not having any response from cattle and Co.

Went out for a family meal to celebrate mine and my nephews bday. My brother had picked this restaurant due to its location close to the theatre where we were due to be for Six, the musical but sadly, restaurant had many issues that night including a couple of fryers down and they were short a kitchen member plus they had too many large parties booked in. We arrived to a friendly greeting and were told that there was a slight delay but as we had allocated several hours for our meal (it was a table for 9) we were not worried. We sat down, got our drinks and ordered our food and then…nothing happened. After an hour, I checked and was told about the issues and I appreciated their honesty. They said that they would have the food out asap. The waiters were all looking very nervous. I also started to notice that no one around us had received their food. They got to e younger boys a few more drinks which was nice of them. When we got to an hour and a half (bear in mind we had kids at the table) I went and had another chat. I explained again that we had to be at the theatre at a certain time as we had explained on the phone and asked if they thought the food would be out by then. The waiter shook their head. Then asked if we had to be there by 8pm! Sweet but yes it starts at 8pm 😂 Now don’t get me wrong, I was in restaurants for 20 years before my current job and I have had nights like this. They are a nightmare. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to cancel all of my large bookings as it put too much pressure on the kitchen. Sadly they let us come in and sit for 2 hours with no food. They did sort out the bill for us which was appreciated but I’m afraid I won’t be going back as it did feel a bit like amateur hour. Now suffice to say my brother had a great meal here a few months before hand so they can be better and I hope they get things sorted. We ended up getting some crappy hot dogs from the theatre which tasted great as we were starving by then!

Lovely food, great portions, friendly staff BUT ….. on arrival the place smelt like a dirty toilet. It made my daughter feel sick and she was unable to eat much of her food. Been here a few times before and never experienced this so hopefully it can be resolved! Won’t be returning in a hurry

Starting out with the good points; Portions are good size Prices are reasonable. But unfortunately I can only give it average at best. The food lacked flavour, for a steak and smokehouse they didn't do either very well. Don't think I will return.

Really good experience! Our server was really helpful and lovely! Took time to make menu recommendations. Steaks were possibly the best we’ve had in a long time and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. Portion sizes are really good and we felt it was very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Impromptu lunch, used to go when there was a previous restaurant here but bypassed this place several times as no menu on show - but oh, have missed a few good visits! Have to say someone warned me that the portions are quite large but I did go for a starter and need not have! Had pulled pork Bruschetta and then a 10 oz Sirloin Steak - both excellent value (steak £17.95) and well presented and plenty of it... wine was very reasonable, £7.95 large glass of Pinot.... service was good and unobtrusive - not rushing me which is always great - good surroundings... loved the music, not everyones tasted but guess 80s 90s and classics and was in the background so I could listen without being distracted from reading my kindle. All in all a very good visit and will try other things another time.

Followed the address on Google and we turned up to an abandoned building (Castle st). Looked on Facebook and a different address was there (York st), we found it and they had given away our table to someone else even though called twice! I told the young lad what had happened and he didn’t have anything to say about it. We arrived at 8:55pm and we weren’t seated until 9:15pm, we didn’t order a drink until 9:45pm and our food finally came out at 10:30pm. When our food was coming out we were told that they had run out of peppercorn sauce. Instead we were brought out additional sides on the house but not any other steak sauce. The food was really nice, good quality meat but the experience wasn’t that great.

Unreal food and extremely good for value! Paid about £20 for ribs, chips and slaw and could have served at least 2 people! Overall paid £35 each for meal, starter and 2 pints. Portions are huge so defo keep that in mind

Absolutely amazing! We visited today because I had been to the old cattle &co and had lovely grub before. The only miff was there was no English mustard for my beautiful brisket! Totally recommended xx

We made a reservation two day before our the birthday dinner. We arrived they couldn't find our booking ,and then we were told the kitchen was closing in five minutes. The young man who was dealing with us was not very helpful and they had run out of half the menu. Not a place we will return to soon.

This is now in the new location on Oystermouth Road. Nine of us arrived for our 5.15 booking. We were told not to be late or table would be given away. Also the table would only be ours for 2 hours. It was 1 hour 40 minutes later that we received our meals. Two steaks that were ordered were cold, chicken came in a spiced coating which was not advertised. Had to eat and leave quickly due to car being in a car park. Two other tables of customers left after waiting a similar amount of time without food. Several other tables becoming impatient when we left, as they found themselves in the same situation as us. Very poor communication and customer service. Will not be eating there again.

Went this evening for my sons birthday. Table booked for 5.15pm. Had our meals at 7pm which we had to rush or take home in foil as our car parking tickets would have run out. No cutlery or condiments until we asked. 2 other couples walked out as they were also fed up of waiting so long. At least they had starters....we only ordered mains and that took way too long. No offer of a discount/ drinks/ nibbles by way of an apology. We were a table of 9 do not a cheap bill. Steak was cold. Buttermilk chicken spicy. Overall an awful experience and wouldn't recommend at all

Whole experience was second to none ... wow great food ... amazing portions ..this food was best I've had in a while ... and very reasonably priced .. popular franchises need to step up because this was miles ahead of recent food in well know restaurants .. highly recommended 👌

Spot on. Lovely food, great service, and good value too. I had the chicken wings to start and they had a beautiful barbecue sauce. My partner had pulled pork on bruschetta and it too was lovely. Italian bread and a Texan style meat sounded odd on paper but tasted lovely. We tried their white barbecue sauce and that hit the spot too. Mains consisted of buttermilk chicken and a sirloin steak - both cooked excellently. The chap who served us was very attentive and helpful. Had thorough answers on all questions on the menu and had a very likeable character. He even went through the offers on different days to try and tempt us back. It’s a meat and chips place, but great meat and chips.
