TGI Fridays - Swansea in Swansea

Visited the restaurant on 7th April, but won't be going back. The food wasn't nice at all. The shared starter was nachos and they were soggy and tasteless and missing jalepenos and soured cream. Two of us ordered the glazed burger which is supposed to have a "Legendary Glaze" expecting a light coating on the burger. What we got was a plate covered with a sticky, sickly sweet sauce poured all over the fries and burger. The plate was swimming in the stuff to the point where the burger couldn't be picked up. My son left his burger altogether as he felt physically sick. We later found out the sauce was made from whiskey, so its not surprising that a 13 year old would find this disgusting. My partner also didn't finish her plate of Meatless Chicken Fajitas. The member of staff saw we hadn't eaten the food and when we questioned it he said "thats just the way it comes". We were charged £124 for the privilege. I tried contacting TGI by email and filling out their feedback form about our poor experience, but have had no response in over two weeks. They are obviously not bothered about customer feedback, or the poor standard and presentation of their overpriced food and clearly just want your money. Avoid at all costs!

Came here for my partners 21st for bottomless brunch with all of our friends and had a lovely time.

Took my 2 granddaughters for lunch aged 12 and 3 years . We had one main meal. One starter a free child's lunch and 3 cokes. Good was warm and bland. Cost was unbelievable £41.10. Will not be rushing back. Absolutely not value for money.

Wonderful Service, wonderful Food, Definitely Come Again

The staff are absolutely lovely and considering the place is obviously short staffed they really try to give good customer service. I understand the prices of food in all restaurants has gone up but the price for a meal for two was unbelievable. For the price the food was just bland and drenched in oil.

Staff were great, food not so. Sesame chicken was like lumps of rock, daughter broke a tooth quite small portion for the price. Would not recommend for a quick meal

Recently visited TGI Fridays and was blown away by the experience! The service was outstanding, with staff that made us feel like VIPs, always on point without being intrusive. Not too busy when we arrived, seated straight away. The children ate free with our main meals which was a nice extra. Service did get a little strained as it got busier though. Food although getting a little pricey was lovely, empty plates all round.

One lady was very apologetic.howeber the delay on service was incredibly slow. Food order was wrong and when corrected, the fries came out after meal had finished. The drinks under the children sections were watered down too much. And a very small dish for a side of beans. Will not be wasting my money there again.

Came in Sunday night for a family meal, wow how busy were the staff. Not many of them at all but never seen such hard work. The food was amazing and the staff were all brilliant, can’t wait to come back for another meal!!!!!

The staff were amazing, we were greeted at the door and quickly taken to our table. Our server, Tracey I think, was lovely! It was a bit expensive but overall a great experience.

Prices have increased twice in four weeks, even the waitress was embarrassed telling me. A burger was £16 now it’s £19.80. Three small chocolate brownies were £6 which was expensive now they are over £10! Crazy prices. I know things have gone up, but twice in four weeks.. come on TGI Friday’s you should be ashamed. When the burger did arrive it wasn’t very appetising, so I left it. Neither did my wife. It’s a shame, I used to enjoy going to TGI Fridays but unfortunately they have priced me out.

Really great night. Came to have bottomless brunch with friends and was served by Brandon. He was very down to earth and friendly and made us feel welcome, we'll definitely come back every time we fancy a bottomless brunch :)).

Me and my partner ordered potato skins of the menu, the picture on menu clearly had 4, we only had 3, we had to ask for our salad to be brought out, and we paid for but didn't get onion rings! So out of the 5 items we ordered we got 3 and 3 quarters and paid £42.00, this is not the frist time we had to ask for our food that was left behind!!!! Will not be going again!

The food was absolutely wonderful and a delight to eat. Our server Molly was such a lovely woman and was helpful whenever we asked for refills. Food came out quite quickly and was nice.

Went on my daughter's birthday the staff sang a happy birthday chant and massively embarrassed her which was hysterical 🤣

Have only been once. Food looked as though it had been kept warm and ready to serve. Very dry chicken burger with melted hard cheese. We complained and they gave us a small discount.

I would feed the food from here to my dogs. Took over an hour for starters to come, took 30 mins for drinks. The service was dreadful and I won’t be returning again.

Staff are always friendly and polite. The food is nice and good portion sizes. Tables are cleaned regularly and if you have a refillable drink they refilled it as soon as they saw it was empty we didn’t even have to ask.

First time coming to a TGI Friday’s, the staff were all so friendly. Our waiter Kieran was awesome super friendly and chatty. The food was amazing. A bit spendy for uni students but overall really good!

The restaurant was cold, they were understaffed, so the staff were rushing around trying to be nice, but you spent most of your time sitting in the cold waiting for the staff to come to you even after you call them. The food was nice and seemed to be cooked well, but I got mild food poisoning from the meal. I won't go there again and wouldn't recommend people go there.

I was passing by the restaurant and had never been here previously and thought I would give it a try. I was greeted and served by Beth who was very helpful and recommended the sesame chicken strips. Food came very quickly and was delicious! I couldn’t finish the whole thing by myself so I took the rest home to finish! All in all a great experience, will definitely be back 😁

Sorry to say awful! Arrived early Saturday evening, only about four other tables already eating food. They took more than 20 minutes to come over to take our order. Very slow service. My food was ok, just that ok, overpriced for what you are served. The other adult meal was burnt. Inedible, a server came to us at the end of our meal to ask if everything was ok. I informed him that the meal was burnt, there was a token offer to replace the meal but as they had took so long to serve and cook the meals we declined. They should have removed the price off the bill. Needless to say we will never return. Awful experience during a weekend trip back to my hometown. The next day we had food in a bowling place, which was much better and half the price! If I could give zero rating I would!

Visited Swansea whilst on holiday with my partner and decided to try this TGI's. There was an issue with the screens in the kitchen and the food took a bit longer than expected which we did not mind but our server Brandon was absolutely amazing. He got our food out as quick as possible and compensated us with a discount even though he did not have to. When the food came out our order was perfect and tasted delicious. If we come back to Wales again will definitely come back here.

Long wait. Cold food. Very overpriced

We didn't book and were told we had to wait for 1/2hr. The guys working there got us in quicker. Can't fault the service last night or the food. We were made to feel welcome. They were fab with my food Intolerance, and managed to get me what I really wanted. Cocktails were great. All in all a fab experience.

Nice little lunch out on a Sunday afternoon. The place wasn’t even half full. Our waiter was lovely and the food came quickly. Really lovely finished off the whole lot.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful time. The door host was friendly and welcoming, the barman was knowledgeable about different cocktails. The waiting staff were attentive and the manager was chatty too. The hot wings were absolutely amazing! Will visit again next time I am celebrating.

Arrived and were seated fairly quickly even though it was busy, the staff are lovely and very attentive and welcoming. Sadly the food lets them down. A chicken quesadilla that looked like a child’s portion at a cost of £16.50 it was tasteless and dry. My husband and I shared tiger fries which were missing some toppings and for nearly £10 were disappointing. Such a shame the food is overpriced and tasteless as the staff couldn’t be better.

VERY EXPENSIVE for standard food. I ordered the "ultimate" Ribs which were described as big on the menu and they out smaller than standard sized ribs so i dread to think how small their classic ribs are. No one was happy with the prices they paid for small portions of food and also, who pays £16 for a cocktail even if they are "2 for 1" .. food took a long time to come out. The staff were nice though.

It is lovely here but the prices are extremely expensive for what food is served, a bottle of peroni over £6 seriously how do places like this expect customers with a cost of living crisis to walk through the doors, also chicken and chips nearly £20 per portion. Apart from the price list which is an absolute joke the staff are lovely and could not do more for us, very lovely apart from the price!

Brilliant time at TGIs tonight, John was fantastic, best service I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend this place to others.

Came to TGI Fridays Swansea, Friday night and it was busy. The staff were all attentive and friendly. Our server recommended us a couple of dishes which we decided to get. My boyfriend is veggie so he went with the meatless fajita and I had the double glazed burger. Can I just say wow. I am not a veggie myself and tried my partners fajita and it was delicious as well as the Fridays glazed burger. The service was brilliant, I consistently had refills when my glass was near empty. I will most definitely be back again !

Food and the service was brilliant as always ! My favourite is the bottomless brunch and honestly I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else for it ! Mostly definitely worth the money !

Just wanted to leave a review to say Kieran was amazing as our server tonight. He was great throughout and even helped me use my student discount (never used it before). Food was good too 👏

possibly the worst meal i have ever had. portions were not non existent, staff were young and friendly but the place otherwise was shambles and hugely expensive. DO NOT GO THERE!

The food was totally overpriced and the portions were mean. A Mac and cheese dish with a dip was ordered. It cost over £8.00 . We actually laughed at it. The dish consisted of just 4 small Mac and cheese balls and a small dip. As a comparison at Pizza Express a plate of 9 dough balls and garlic dip costs just over £5.00. We are all experiencing the cost of living crisis TGI but remember closures on the high street are frequent. Keep this meanness up and who knows you may be next .

We had a really poor meal tonight. My daughter and I order the fajitas and they we only just edible. They were badly burnt with no flavour (I think the flavour was burnt to the skillet). The restaurant was really quiet and after 40 minutes after ordering I asked if everything was OK with the order the meals arrived about three minutes later. We should have sent them back but we didn’t have time to wait again. The staff were friendly and when I mentioned the issue at the end the server said he speak to the manager but that didn’t happen as far as I’m aware.

Great family meal out with 2 kids under the age of 4. The waitress we had went above and beyond for our children ,which made the experience extra special for my wifes birthday. (Kudos for the free slice of bday cake). The food was great and the baloon animals were a nice extra touch. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but a good selection of background music had the kids dancing and enjoying while food was being cooked. Will definitely be dining here again Thanks for a great experience

Absolutely amazing service 😄 our waiter (mark) absolutely made the day as we ordered our drinks he managed to get them before we even said the man’s the myth the legend he read our minds. Also food took longer than 5 minutes to make it so he took it apon himself to make 7 portions of sesame strips with fries no chilli flakes and 3 messy cheese burgers with no salad. Although we had to wait 15 mins for the food and drinks the amazing manager (katie) took of all our drinks and also gave us a 20% voucher for next time. I will now name by unborn child (I’m pregnant) “Friday”

Arrived for a light evening meal. Restaurant looked quite with empty seats so was already put off when we got seated next to a noisy birthday. Once seated we were rushed to order, rushed through our food and rushed to pay. Limited selection on the menu.

Restaurant apoeared fairly quiet and was shown to table. Ordered drinks and came quite quickly but one had wrong mixer, was told they didn't do mixer we asked ( even though it was listed) .. accepted drink. Then seemed to get forgotten about but eventually came to take order. From then on we seemed to be being rushed, .. so skipped desert paid and left
