The best restaurants in St. Martins Caerphilly South Wales

Called in for Full breakfast and was not disappointed plenty of food and what you would expect from a well run cafe.

Brilliant friendly service. Always a warm welcome and always a good sub.

Order cancelled by fish bar after paying was showing as being prepared fuming 😡

Great coffee shop food is always fresh and staff are excellent very clean shop - dogs allowed (paws on floor) and everyone is respectful of this

This place has REALLY gone downhill. I used to get cheese and coleslaw baguettes, which came with lots of grated cheese. I ordered a couple of weeks ago and it was a tiny amount of melted cheese with warm coleslaw. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were previously good, so I ordered again today. Now the cheese is a couple of slices of the orange plastic American cheese that comes in sachets. I’ve never seen that from anywhere before. I think at this point I’m just going to stop ordering from there.

Food is good but both drinks and food are quite expensive for Caerphilly, more like Cardiff prices. Staff are always really friendly, the atmosphere is good although it would be nice if they changed the starting acts songs around for open Mic (every Wednesday) not in staff control that one!!

Went for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Excellent portion value too. A lovely building with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a top dining experience.

Very unwelcoming. Regular customers made to feel uncomfortable by new door staff and the bar staff don't care.

My food (an £18 burger) was pretty ok - but not worth the ££. My wife's food (a chicken dish - cost around the same) was over-cooked and less enjoyable. Very clean pub, but let doeen by food.

Booked for a family meal for my daughter’s birthday- received a voicemail 2.5 hours before our booking, cancelling our reservation due to staff shortage! Obviously, no time to book anywhere else. Unacceptable- how not to run a business!

Both myself and my partner attended the cwtch on Saturday in January, it was quiet compared to the Wetherspoons over the road which we thought was surprising for a weekend. We were advised to go to that pub under the pretence of live music and were shocked to see this wasn’t the case as the manager told us it was not in the business interest due to a quiet period. Cath the manager had a horrendous attitude so we made sure we were served by someone else and avoided her. We were next served by Anna, who greeted us with a smile and honestly couldn’t do enough for us. We would return if there was guaranteed entertainment and friendly competent staff.

Highly recommend. Great value for money. Will definitely be ordering again.
