The best restaurants in St. Martins Caerphilly South Wales

This place has REALLY gone downhill. I used to get cheese and coleslaw baguettes, which came with lots of grated cheese. I ordered a couple of weeks ago and it was a tiny amount of melted cheese with warm coleslaw. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were previously good, so I ordered again today. Now the cheese is a couple of slices of the orange plastic American cheese that comes in sachets. I’ve never seen that from anywhere before. I think at this point I’m just going to stop ordering from there.

No understanding of food/drink and medical conditions. Spoken to like a child. Food burnt on edges. Usually OK, but not on this occasion. In addition, falsely accused by bouncer of vaping in pub, man-handled to leave by bouncer, thus would not recommend!

Great, lovely, sound, yummy yummy and shot hit. Couple of plonkers on a scrambler tho, not helmeted, it seemed that the passengers helmet was stuck fast and steady within the bowels of the driver, because the driver would tear up the car park tarmac and repeatedly go over the pavement. I've never seen two bikers enjoy themselves so much. Praps they swapped over at halftime.

I usually enjoy their food but today it's not very great. Spent £14 for food thats not even in the food tray but wrapped in a paper. So all chips stucked in the paper, please be more professional next time. It is not expensive to buy a food paper tray / container. Putting food in the paper is such a mess.

Great coffee shop food is always fresh and staff are excellent very clean shop - dogs allowed (paws on floor) and everyone is respectful of this

My husband and I treated ourselves today and popped into The Travellers Rest, and boy they did not disappoint! To anyone who loves pork belly you've got to try theirs, it just melts in the mouth, I never knew pork could be so tender (sorry mum 😅) My husbands burger wasn't too shabby either! He said its by far the best burger he's had so it's safe to say we'll be back again soon. Big thanks to the chef and other lovely staff today 😊

Extremely frustrating experience with a complete disregard for allergy sufferers. My daughter aged 26 years ordered and was told she could not have the desired dish. The manager was heard to say “she either has an allergy or she doesn’t, so she cannot have it.” This is incorrect information and not how allergies work. She was not allergic to the ingredients he was talking about.

Booked for a family meal for my daughter’s birthday- received a voicemail 2.5 hours before our booking, cancelling our reservation due to staff shortage! Obviously, no time to book anywhere else. Unacceptable- how not to run a business!

Both myself and my partner attended the cwtch on Saturday in January, it was quiet compared to the Wetherspoons over the road which we thought was surprising for a weekend. We were advised to go to that pub under the pretence of live music and were shocked to see this wasn’t the case as the manager told us it was not in the business interest due to a quiet period. Cath the manager had a horrendous attitude so we made sure we were served by someone else and avoided her. We were next served by Anna, who greeted us with a smile and honestly couldn’t do enough for us. We would return if there was guaranteed entertainment and friendly competent staff.

Had fish that was undercooked. Batter was soggy. Wouldn’t eat from here again.

Ordered a delivery at 930 was told be about 45/50 minutes which was fine waited till 1040 and did not turn up not happy no phone call to say sorry nothing
