Very generous portions! Fish was great quality. Would expect a little salt on the chips but not pepper. Was overly salt and peppered in my opinion so wasn’t able to eat the chips.

Had to wait for an hour and 20 mins for delivery. When the food arrived, it had the wrong drink - we ordered Coca Cola but were sent Pepsi, this had to be thrown away as Pepsi makes me unwell. The fish cake was over cooked and hard. This is a shame, because I’ve ordered from here numerous times in the past. Sadly, this will be the last time we order from here. Very disappointing meal this evening.

Food was plentiful and the fish was amazing , second order now, and in all fairness this place is lovely. 👍🏼

Only ordered a sausage in batter to be honest but it was revolting, soggy batter and bland somewhat undercooked sausage, took a bite and gave the rest to the birds. Miserable staff also, some poor customer was eating in, looked like a a soggy piece of fish and day old chips, won’t visit again!

The previous two orders were great, big portions, decent quality, fast delivery. This time the chips were a bit underdone, pale, limp and greasy. Hopefully a one off, will order from them again though.

I very rarely leave a bad review,had Fish& Chips which to be fair was not that bad but the same has shop before these, insist on using plastic bags which steams the food leaving the batter and chips all stuck to the grease paper i will not be using again until they start using paper bags .

Just disappointing. Large Fries are soked in grease, you can taste the oil have not been changed for ages, curry just poured onto the greasy fries, chicken breast on menu = quarter of chicken. Chicken was tasteless as well. I gave 2 stars because the curry sauce was actually good. Everything else was horrible. I don’t even know how can these takeaways survive, saying all this as a chef. Chicken over cooked and a few bad chips

As I promised, it was New Year's night, time 12:55am, and this hard working couple kept their store still open. I had very nicely done, fresh cod with fries and free extras. Food took almost 1 hour 40 minutes to turn up. Then when it got here it was cold and quite frankly disgusting. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Half of the food was missing… both sausage in batters were missing and there was no pot of chicken curry. The curry and chips had rice instead of chips too.

About 30 chips in a lathe bag .cost 29 pounds for.our order now.not answering my calls. Myself and my partner have rung

Order got delayed after an hour which then caused another half hour wait. No tracking on delivery that caused us to wait in the rain so we didn’t miss the delivery that we waited an hour+ for.

In the past this place was good, but the past number of orders have been poor. I’ve literally had chicken curry turn up with a couple of pieces of meat, I’ve had chips under cooked, moldy bread rolls, undercooked batter on cod bites and finally, believe it or not, overcooked chicken curry. They just seem to be going down hill. Normally, I’ve let it go, but the last order with the undercooked chips and overcooked chicken curry, with rising prices annoyed me so I raised it and they did say they’d sort us a free meal on the next order. Well I tried tonight to be told we can only have our “free” meal if we hit a minimum order value of £12. Doesn’t sound a lot, but it meant ordering food to waste it. The place has gone down hill which is sad as they were decent. Will be going elsewhere in the future.

First time ordering from here, ordered the 1/2 lb chicken burger, chips, battered sausage and curry sauce, firstly the chips were fresh and tasted great, decent size portion aswell, the battered sausage had a lovely crunchy batter but no on to the best bit which really shocked me from a chip shop- the chicken burger, now I like to see myself as a bit of a chicken connisuer and I have to say that this chicken burger was one of the best I have EVER tasted, it was big, packed full of flavour, the chicken was juicy, the bun was soft yet held together perfectly a solid 10/10. In the words of Arny "I'll be back" :-)

Well this is the first time this has ever happened and I hope its the last time I have to go hunting for my delivery. Saw the delivery driver pull up outside my house, got my plate ready etc. Look out the window and he's walking back to his car ... After leaving my food on someone else's doorstep, in the next street. I have to walk down the street trying to find it, I do and it's freezing, so now it's a warming it in the microwave job, not happy

Food wasn't that great and wouldn't order again to be honest. It was also on the cold side. On the pricey side for what we got. The estimated delivery was 8.25-8.45 and the food arrived way earlier than this when I was still out, which was a bit annoying. Overall, pretty disappointed.

my delivery was on time but the driver had given me the wrong order. Rang the restaurant to let them know, they couldnt have been more helpful even calling me back after sorting the issue to see if there was anything else we wanted. Food is lush and will have again.
