Esquires Coffee in Caerphilly

Perfect place to go especially to grab a coffee on the go. Dog friendly so great for a stop when on your walks. Lots of food choices and fresh pastries! Definitely recommend. Staff always friendly and helpful.

It’s a great environment to meet up with friends and business meeting catch up..by the way, I recommend the pineapple smoothie ;)

Esquires is great for having a social with your friends, getting work done or getting a drink on the go! Always do the best food and drinks, I recommend an iced tea with strawberry syrup every time Staff are great, they’re always so welcoming and friendly The atmosphere is always the best, I love that it’s dog friendly

The iced mochas are to die for. Lovely warm welcoming space, tastefully decorated and speedy service. Deffo better quality coffee than your run of the mill chain coffee shops!

Service was not very friendly, quite expensive also; £7.20 for an oat milk latte and a can. Not terrible but could be improved.

The food and coffee are good, but the service consistently disappoints. Whether it's takeout or delivery, there's always something missing. When you call to let them know, it's the same old apology and a promise to get it right next time, but it never actually improves. Today, I just wanted two takeaway lattes, which seems pretty straightforward. However, the confusion started when two people ahead of me ordered the same thing. It seemed like they thought both orders were for the same person, so they didn't make mine. Even after people who ordered after me got their orders first, the staff claimed someone stole my order off the counter. I was standing there the whole time, and no one did that. Everyone is nice, but the constant mistakes really bring down the overall experience. Considering the cost and the service, you're better off going to Gregs just two doors down.

Ordered eggs Benedict. Eggs came out almost raw. Sent it back to be redone and they came back out in the same raw state. They forgot the coffee and the scones were stale. Not good T all!

The breakfast ist delicious. Nothing to complain. Highly recommended. During our stay in Cearphilly at Travelodge we visited this Café almost every day. The service was also great. They even opened earlier on the day we legt, so we're able to have a good breakfast again. Thank you!

Came here for breakfast found it quite expensive the eggs benedict are more expensive than The Ivy….. Food was acceptable, chai latte wasn’t great. Was expensive as stated above. It’s local to us so will probably come again.

Was staying at a horrible hotel (Bryn Meadows) and even though I paid for breakfast, there was no way I was having it there.. I was pleased to find this place, open early, lovely selection of foods, fresh orange juice and really nice staff and atmosphere with lots of real plants! Really enjoyed it! Everything I had came with a price tag, but I was happy to pay ecause of the quality, atmosphere, staff, etc.

Cafe was clean but very noisy. Radio was too loud. Menus not on the table and not easily visible. Poached eggs were very small. Bagel was nice but expensive. Disappointed with the cake. Won't bother again.

Very expensive - granola bowl was just yogurt, some frozen berries and some shop brought granola. No nuts or chia seeds as advertised! £6.95 for this!! Found the coffees very expensive and weak! Wouldn’t return!

Bought two pieces of cake to take out, charged £10.50, got them home , very small slices and stale , disappointing.

Such a shame that this establishment allows dogs to sit on the seating while eating/licking the plates & tables. Absolutely disgusting 🤢 Won’t be visiting after what we saw today

Great atmosphere from this great quality coffee shop. Awesome cakes and great food, including nice cooked breakfasts all day. Would recommend. Only a couple of minutes from the local lake with ducks and wildfowl so a good place for a walk, finishing with a coffee and cake! Like it so much I visit way too often!

Visit here regularly for coffee and cake or sometimes breakfast/lunch. The eggs royale are superb! Friendly staff, clean and can always get a table.

We had stayed in the Travelodge after a family get together the night before, so needed somewhere for a decent breakfast before heading home. What a find this place was. Just around the corner, with parking available. Great menu, helpful friendly service, top quality coffee and mugs of tea. The service was quick and the food delicious. My wife and I had the full English, while my 90 year old had just a round of toast with butter and jam. No fried eggs option, so I had poached and my wife had scrambled. The breakfasts were just right, with enough to satisfy the appetite without being over facing. The cafe itself is clean and modern, with good seating inside and out. The toilets were clean and fresh smelling. All round, this was an excellent experience - highly recommended.

Lovely interior, nice coffee but to pay £7.40 for two coffees is ridiculous. Shame but I will frequent other places before going here purely just for that .

Have been a few times for coffee. Tried here for brunch as a couple. we both had the eggs benedict and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend.

An absolute gem tucked away in one of Caerphilly’s hot spots. Decor is on point and the food, ambiance and drinks are top quality. Just what Caerphilly needs and to cater for everyone so attentively during a pandemic - gets 5 stars from me!
