The best restaurants in North Wales

Very good breakfast and as usual superb value for money. Service was prompt and the food hot. Place was fairly busy and clean and tidy.

Rm226 checked in on the floor that we’re in right now is like haunted, facing the hillside cliff,no proper heater. I have requested at the reception to change the room but they want extra payment per day! Receptionist are quite inconsiderate and not valuing their clients. I think we’re the only guests on this floor, I was sad by the lack of consideration and attention on this matter. No wonder why reviews are extremely negative. Just for this time, adding more later about foods, drinks and services. I will make my stay more relaxing for now

During our holiday we visited Conwy for the 1st time for the castle. After the castle we needed lunch and this place looked lovely. Even the window sign saver deal £5 for fish and chips looked inviting. So in we went and sat straight down. Moody looking lady came over to take our order I said 3 of the saver fish and chips please. She said can only have that if we order drinks with it?!? So we ordered drinks which was a Fanta, orange juice and hot choc. The Fanta was £2.95 and it was a can!! There was nothing on the window saying have to purchase a drink with it! We didn’t want to make a scene but spent the rest of the time stewing about it. The food arrived hot and fresh but tiny portions. About 10 chips and a baby fish. Big blob of tartare sauce on a huge plate. We were hungry, ate it all and just wanted to leave. Our £15 saver deals ended up being £25 with drinks. We’re gonna email the company. Pretty sure that’s just a ploy to sting the holiday makers. Really unfair. Don’t bother going in.

This KFC is now permanently closed. Clearly some of the reviews below are of a different branch as they refer to the drive through but this branch was on a pedestrianised section of the High Street so, for obvious reasons, has never had a drive through.

Rip off for drinks don't go in 4.50 a can

Sort your heads out your serving to the public. Soggy hardly cooked chips, wrong pizza, frozen cake that taste dirty n drinks were wrong too but least they weren't dirty and grim.

The staff were very rude. Slow customer service!!! All they did was chat and chat and chat when we were standing by the till to pay! The chips were very cold when we got them it was wouldn’t recommend!!!!

Don't order via the app. They got the order completely wrong and made 6 inch subs rather than the foot long that was paid for. They put it in a bag so we didn't notice until we were too far away to return. Phone number doesn't work that is listed on Google.

Lovely food as always but chicken wings have changed not spicy

Disgraceful attitude from staff. Extremely rude and offensive. Tables cluttered and not cleared of dirty crockery. Will not visit again.

Great medium pizza so we had two.Dont waste your money on papa john, its not nice pizza. Dominoes stuffed crust is the way to go !

Portion size great Chips crap curry you could put wallpaper up with it its that thick

Cold when delivered. Hardly any toppings. All spread out, scrimping for sure. Cheese didn’t taste like normal papa johns and light on tomato base. Really poor, avoid and use somewhere else in the town.

On a recent visit for a days cycling at Oneplanet Llandegla, we decided to call into the onsite cafe for lunch. Menu looked interesting instead of boring sandwiches and salads Anyway, I decided to go for the Moroccan Flatbread….something different. This is where it went wrong. The kitchen and preparation area is open for everyone to see. The person who was preparing the flatbreads was using a dirty stained tea towel to hold them whilst adding the filling. No plastic/rubber gloves were used, and said person was rubbing their had all over their clothes whilst prepping food. This put me right off ordering food from this cafe. Can the cafe owners take note and quickly improve their food hygiene.
