Subway in Wrexham

Utterly dreadful customer service. One person serving and the app charged us then deleted our order. Took over 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches

again the crisps were missing. if you dont supply them, why ask to add them. this is the second time!

Absolutely appalling I have been sent the wrong order entirely and have been sent item in with I am intolerant to very poor service i request my money back

restaurant left a note on the sandwich explaining that they had no more mariana meatball and instead subsided it with bbq meatballs this was a disappointment to me and will not be ordering again

thank you for putting 2 fruit shoots in and not just leaving the bag without a drink (I'm gonna guess they were out of oasis)

Cold sandwiches, in one of them was missing the lettuce, I paid for something and in the end a have to eat bread with chicken just. Really dissapointed.

Footlong chicken tikka was not in order, instead there was a beef footlong which was not on order

Took almost an hour to arrive despite only living 5 minutes from the branch, which also meant the food was cold by the time it had arrived.

Poor selections of meats/salad always slow/rude staff dirty work areas and untidy dining area , online orders always take priority to customers standing around waiting, overall the worst subway in the Wrexham area

Wouldn’t let me give no stars so had to give 1 I asked for meatballs Mariana but didn’t have any but had other meatballs which I said was fine then they said it comes with crispy onions and certain salad which I said I didn’t want I told them I wanted lettuce and onions and southwest sauce only to be told I couldn’t do that as it was a set sandwich when I never asked for a set sandwich and told I couldn’t add the sauce I wanted I told the girl I didn’t order a set sandwich but she was having none of it shocking customer service won’t be using it again

food was stone cold, left items off the order. very poor.

Philly steak absolutely vile, that was not steak looked like dog food, asked for no peppers just lettuce because of an allergy and I had peppers 🫑 waste of money. you have to be at subway to get what you want otherwise it's chucked together without care.

I can't understand someone taking 20 minutes to make a sandwich and still get it wrong even though it's a set menu sandwich. staff need better training or changing

Ordered a tuna salad, no tuna on it and no dressing!!

I’m n a lunch break first of all the woman was very unhelpful refusing to let me add anything to my sandwich, this certainly isn’t the subway way. I could only swap items of salad, add crispy onions or another sauce which is ridiculous. I was then told I couldn’t have a fountain drink because they’re swapping brands. So in that case I’m forced to spend the extra money for a bottle. Terrible customer service and the worst subway franchise I’ve ever been to. Don’t bother all you’ll get is unhelpful blunt attitude.

Food was cold and meatballs weren’t cooked they were hard

Subway got the order wrong. Apart from the toasted sub being crushed and smushed and missing all salad that I had requested the screwed the order up so completely by putting the peppers, onions and American cheese on the sub that should have been ham, grated cheese lettuce and cucumber. This caused my autistic son to refuse to eat at all as he had been set on the specific sub he’d asked for. Whoever made the food clearly can’t read or genuinely didn’t care what they threw together

Seal on bag was broken therefore could not eat as instructed on label

First visit to Subway for years and was quite impressed. Enjoyed the subs and will probably visit again

Poor service, refused to make bespoke sandwiches, very condescending and dismissive. Tomatoes were also days old as was the tuna. I refused to pay for the sandwich she would not make the way I wanted. Greg's next door was GREAT!

Food was cold, not so bad for the Subs but someone ordered wedges and not great that they were stone cold. Food must have been prepared to far in advance of delivery time.

Food was delicious and good size portions will definitely order from here again!

Just awkward telling me what a can and can't have on my sandwich AVOID

I love my subways with jalapeños. I was astonished when I was told I wasn't allowed to add any to my BMT even though I was willing to pay for them. Why are they rationed? You can buy a jar from asda. I'd have happily paid a quid for 2 or three of them. There were loads of them. The whole idea of subway is to build your own roll. Sorry but this is crazy. I'll go to Gregg's next time.

Doesn’t know how to tell the time, got there 15 mins before shutting and they told me it was shut already

This is a review for ALL Subway shops, not just this particular one (they're all the same). The food itself is always nice enough. You can have what you want, make up the sandwich however you like. You may get the odd jobsworth who will hesitate on giving you extra cheese for example but what's new there? I always found that they don't seem to toast the sandwiches quite long enough, doesn't hurt to ask them to toast it twice though if you actually you know, what it like toast. However! My absolute biggest complaint by a mile is the cross contamination. I a vegetarian and the last thing I want to see is the staff picking up pieces of meat and then dipping their hands into the veg/salad afterwards. And every store does it. I've even seen them drop pieces of meat into the salad and not even think twice about it. How hard is it to put the salad in first and THEN the meat with a glove change afterwards? I don't think that's asking for much. In short, it is a good place to visit if that stuff doesn't bother you. But if you're a vegetarian then this really isn't the place for you.

As always delicious food, my meatballer was missing meatballs(BUT) they had attached a note to let me know this and replaced meatballs with ham, to that person: you actually made the sandwich better! No complaints.

I always order from Holt Road even though there are closer ones because this subway always goes above and beyond. They always have all items in stock and its made to perfection. Thank you!

Really disappointing new franchise at Holt Road, Wrexham. It has no idea about customer service! I've recently made 3 visits to the site & have only come away with 1 meal. On the first visit, about 2pm on a Sunday afternoon, the female staff member didn't have any available cooked bread for another 25 minutes & today at 7.15pm the female staff member said they were closed. The website said it was open until 8pm, the lights were still on & all the food options were still on display under the refrigerated glass counter. Really! Does this franchise want to sell food to the public? Moreover, is the franchisee (of what is ostensibly a sandwich outlet) aware that their staff can't organise the cooking times to ensure a constant supply of bread &, secondly, that the staff are closing early & so reducing their profits? I've visited 3 times but I won't be making a 4th visit. I'd much rather go to the Gresford franchise where the staff are friendly & actually appreciate your custom. Date of experience: 05 June 2023

It didn't turn up I was really hungry and disappointed I would like all of my money back

Lady delivering said she couldn’t find my address spent 10 minutes on the phone listening to breathing whilst she wondered around the estate. Had no issues with just eat. Changed order without discussion (drink choice)

Only problem I had was that items I didnt ask for were put on the sandwiches. Like on one I asked for just onions and it came with tomatoes on it. They need to double check what is wanted and not wanted and also write on the packaging as I asked for 3 bmt one with no salad or sauce, another with salad and sauce and one with just onions. Had to open them all to find the correct ones. Other than that food was good.

Visited twice. Both times absolutely shocking service, a good 15 minute wait for a sandwich, when there's only one person in front of me. And when I ordered my footlong steak and cheese, there's no steak? No lettuce? No red onion. The bread has been burnt and hard on top and both times they haven't cut my bread. It's just a shambles of subway. Poor management and poor training as no one seems to know what day it Is.

They got my entire order wrong we asked for 7ups they gave us ice teas they made our subs with left over bacon from breakfast and got our cookies wrong it’s not like they was similar drinks or cookies

What is the point of this subway!!!!! It is never open
