McDonald's in Wrexham

Just visited the McDonalds in Wrexham town centre with wife and three grandsons. I can honestly say that this is the dirtiest, filthy excuse for a fast food outlet. Floors filthy, windows filthy, toilets filthy, staff just hanging around doing nothing. The food we ordered was slow, had to wait 20 mins for food. The manager kept asking one of the staff to make pancakes but was being ignored. My wife had to get a spray bottle and cloths to wipe the table before we ate anything. The restaurant looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. If a large company like McDonalds can’t employ some cleaners then we are all doomed,I just hope senior management from their head office or the States reads this, as if it were me I would be totally embarrassed at the standard of their restaurant. I have been to many McDonalds all over the world, Spain, Egypt, Greece, Germany, Dubai and all of these have been a pleasure to visit. The Wrexham restaurant must be the worst in the whole world. I will never go there again.

Wow, just wow! Mind blown my son accidentally ordered a quarter pounder at the till when they gave him the price he realised he ordered the wrong thing and asked for change his order (no money had been handed over at this stage) the lady said no she couldn't so my son thinking they were right gave her the last of his money leaving him with nothing to get home! She happily took his cash which is wrong, my son knows now this was wrong of them but staff don't care!

Staff try hard here to keep customers happy. Very busy

Very busy during midday hours, staff are rushed off there feet , food is rushed , ordering food on the computer is a nightmare an never prints recipes so u have to remember ur order number if u get to see it on screen

Wrexham McDonald's must be the only place in the world where you order something and get something completely different...delivery is even worse...imagine ordering a kids meal and only getting chips...order sausage pancakes and just getting pancakes.. order 4 hash browns and get 2......my mind blows

If I could give 0 stars I would, I placed a small simple order of 2 meals with some halloumi fries. For one the halloumi fries were missing and so were one of the chips, the chips that were in the bag were half full and cold. How hard can it be to follow an order, you look at a piece of paper and go down the list. It seriously can't be that hard!! Even a quick check everything is in the bag would be fine. If the "employees" can't even follow a simple order then god help them when they get a proper job. It's pathetic!!

I found the place was dirty men's toilet 🚽 was a mess one toilet cubicle wasn't working no staff cleaning just standing around talking 😕

Just seems to get worse. Big tasty with with large fries £8.88. It's a lot of money as the burger wax cold and bacon missing, not tasty at all. Not an enjoyable meal. Threw half of it away.

On few visits chips was barley warm ,the seating area down stairs starting to look bit tatty .

Becoming an absolute joke. Another order wrong. Mainly the milkshake was the completely wrong flavour and to top it off no straw? Management needs sacking.

Mcdonalds yumyumyumyumyum. I asked for extra pickles and they gave me 41 😰

Pretty poor, ordered, got delivery and food was missing, tried to call to tell them, 8 times no answer, ended up having to drive 4 miles to the store to complain. Bad bad customer service...

02/22/2024 at approximately 21.30, the whole cafe was in smoke from burning oil with a corresponding smell, I ordered a Big Mac Menu, fries with bitterness from the same burning oil, the cucumbers probably fell out of the burger even when it was put in the box, the tables are dirty, the trash cans are overflowing, Looking at the staff, one gets the impression that they are just counting the hours and don’t give a damn about everything else, in general it’s disgusting, the manager of this branch needs to think about it...

Poor service, staff didnt want to know. Gone really downhill

Terrible parking. Disabled toilet rarely works. Food OK. Gets rowdy at times with teenagers or drunks

Meant to be open 24hrs but we turned up at 00.15am after a 6 hr train journey needing food to have to lip read the line leader say 'We're closed' through the locked door. Strange??? They were serving food to 3 paramedics + delivery drivers in there though??? Don't advertise as being open 24 hrs if you're not!

I left a yellow jd bag here like 30 minutes ago if anyone sees it let me know or hand it to the employees

I love the chicken nuggets. There has been a couple of times where the tables were dirty from the previous customer and the waits for food are also quite long. Had a very nice server who was very polite, helpful and definitely needs a raise by the name of Reece.

Ordered through the mc delivery app, food was wrong again, ordered a double bacon mc muffin and a double sausage mc muffin, when they arrived they were both sausage, not the first time its happened and wont be the last, last time asked for no egg and an extra sausage patty and again it was wrong. No way to sort it out through the app, if you want a correct order do not bother ordering through this app

Food is good, customer service basically school kids missing a phone to look at and mostly non verbal. Atmosphere is basically overcrowded or empty, never in-between

McDonald’s is always manic due to being on a large retail outlet. Food is usually hot and well presented but waiting can be time consuming as some days you can have 30+ people waiting for orders. On these occasions I must say organisation is very poor

Ordered a takeaway and when it arrived yet again a full meal not in the bag and when you ring the number to complain they hang up on you not good customer service service at all £8 for a meal not cheap needs sorting out

Ordered Chips and a mcflurry, took ages to be brought to me( it was not busy) forgot to bring chips, the mcflurry was icey and chips were like warm

Food was cold and fries were undercooked. Staff can’t even remember to add a straw into the bag. Wouldn’t mind if this was a one time thing but this happens frequently. I recommend going to Chirk maccys instead.

Ordered via Ubereats as it’s safer. First time had a delivery guy waiting an hour so I had to cancel, second time we ordered from different McDonald’s (local in town which we stopped ordering from) food turns up, but it’s just a drink with a receipt on it for our food. Did the delivery guy take it? I don’t know, but this happens every time from the McDonald’s in particular, absolute theifs and disgusting behaviour from the workers, should be ashamed!

It's a burger bar. Friends daughter wanted a sauagage muffin or I wouldn't have been there. I can only rate food as she said it was. The other ratings are my own.

milk shakes great, fries great , burgers were over cooked , dry and thrown together, big mac was just about ok, double cheese burger probably the worse i've ever bought!

First visit, appears to be very popular as ‘every man and his dog’ decided to eat there that day. There was a wait for the food, it was hot and fresh. We did manage to sit albeit on high stools (not comfy) by the exit doors. The main thing was the food was good, and we satisfied our need to eat.

Very untidy. Tables not cleaned or wiped in the half hour I was there. Toilets were closed. Order machine printer wasn't working, and the order number just flashed a number, luckily I saw it. I won't go again.

Good food, chips are always a bit too cold but that's too be expected when you server thousands of people a day. They're always happy to replace the chips so that's very good service

Very slow to many 16 year olds that haven’t got a clue what’s going on they didn’t even put chicken nuggets in happy meal for little and they don’t even know how to close happy meal box what a shamble Mac Donald has become

A girl (didn’t get her name wearing a plastic belt metal holes short blonde hair) was very rude, brought food to the table and just slid it on the table smirking at us didn’t say a thing to us said thank you to her and she just smirked again very unprofessional behaviour

Hot and , additional dining was shut off as we left and yet it was still early? Otherwise a typical McDonald’s you know what your getting.

I think the employees of this establishment are allergic to getting orders correctly. This is the only explanation I have for missing items all the time considering there’s 20 heads back there and half of em just chat away. Check your bag before you leave

Food was freshly cooked, unlike some of the other McDonalds. Staff were pleasant, the restaurant was very clean and tidy

Awful. Visited on a Friday evening. Very few seats available, upstairs closed off. Toilets closed off. Orders muddled, drinks cold, items forgotten from orders.

Wouldn't call it fast food at all, waited 20mins, our food literally just got left on the counter as the guy who went to get our drinks walked off to serve on the till. Asked the lady dressed in a white shirt what was going on as the food was just left instead of just getting our drinks she just kept walking around asking who left the good even tho I told her who, we then received one of the drinks wrong which we noticed at home, no straws no sauce. My happy meals were then cold so I asked for a replacement, they seemed more preoccupied with delivery orders than people stood infront of them, one lady waited 15mins for 2 happy meals!!! I'll be driving to Chirk from now on atleast they have faster and better service and don't constantly get your order wrong.

Been my local all my life, never had an order correct, terrible service, awful atmosphere, filled with antisocial behaviour, will always be given a downgraded product or just something I haven't asked for at all. Would never recommend to any one

Missed food off an order yet again. Try and blame just eat but they don't pack the bag. Absolutely terrible service.

Place looked run down. Floor totally littered. Bouncer knocking/rattling his knuckles on table. When u got burger, it was cold, tasteless- cardboard has got more flavour. I ended up throwing up. Never again mo McDonald’s. Not paying for something to be sick from

Just ordered via Uber Eats. What an absolute mess of a meal. Food was cold, missing sauce we paid for (for the 100th time - how hard is it to put sauce in a bag?), no cheese on the burger, hardly any sauce or lettuce. If I wanted to chew on cardboard, I’d of ordered from Amazon and got more enjoyment out of eating the box. Having to provide my own sauce and heat up the food isn’t much of a takeaway is it? 50+ minutes to arrive and before you say that’s Ubers fault he was waiting for 30 mins before delivering. Next time I’ll order by pigeon, it’s be faster.

Just spent £40 on a takeaway for the family, the fries was white and soggy they wasn't edible at all and everytime we pay for dips they never come. Avoid this place it's a joke.

Absolutely fitting with Wrexham - scummy chavvy hole of a place (McDonald's, and Wrexham obviously). Cold disgusting food, full of people making up 25% of all DWP claims, presumably all living for freeeee in council houses paid for by the middle and upper class.

Grim. Food was ok, it's McDonald's after all. The self service machine didn't like being touched and wouldn't take payments. And was just full of people collecting just eat orders and homeless people on the floor outside. Won't be bringing the kids here!

Very dirty place, rubbish and food all over the floor and tables. Chips we ordered with meal were soft and badly cooked never had so bad chips before.I will not come back here again because I regreted as soon I've opened the paper bag.

Good for eat in or take out. I would recommend if dining in to eat upstairs because there always seems to be a large group of just eat and uber eats delivery drivers accumulated near the pick up area.

After I found hair on my fries, the paper from my sandwich was dirty of mustard (but my sandwich didn't have mustard),my order was to eat in but they gave me everything in bag like a take away,the fries were without salt,no ketchup at all...no,thank you! No more Mc Donalds for me. Very bad everything. 👎

Staff too busy making deliveroo and just eat orders. Normal walk in customers ignored. Waited 20 mins only for the order to dissappear off the screen. Has to get one of the staff off the delivery orders to find it. When I eventually got it chips were stone cold and milkshake like water. All drinks are made and left on a shelf. Seen some there for the full 20mins I waited. Wont be using this one again.

We arrived here late due to a long ride, pretty hungry it was our last resort. I've not seen so many deliver-roo and just people in one place. The worst Mcdonald's I've been to, very dirty, and the staff was unsure what they were doing.

I go there on a regular basis for coffee on the way to work, coffee is hit and miss. Sometimes cold as for the food , It's most of the time cold, they are more concerned about take out orders. No parking..Not the best McDonald's I have been to..

Wrexham McDonald's is shocking, if you hav not order a online delivery then your stuffed. I went in for a chicken burger with chips & 2 caramel flappe, my partner went to the Indian just down the to order a takeaway, they made it and she walked up the road to me with the food she order & stud with me for a nother 5 minutes for wot I ordered. Fast food wot a joke.

Staff are very incompetent and lazy, they can’t even read the orders properly or probably just rob the food we order.

We went for an early breakfast when the place had just opened. Food spot on and great service, we went upstairs because it was cold downstairs due to the doors being open, Maccy's staff brought our food up in no time many thanks!

It was pretty busy when we went in and opted to sit upstairs. Staff were very good at wiping tables, emptying bins and keeping the the toilets clean. Not so much fun for customers and staff were a group of boys larking about and trying to bait the staff. We needn't have worried as the staff soon sorted them out in a very professional way.

This is a hellscape of a McDonald's, beset by army's of eats apps drivers and youths, the staff are incompetent,

Service was appalling, they got the order wrong and when I told the staff the order was wrong he didn't believe me

Got a delivery and it was half hour late and all my food is stone cold. Not impressed.

Chips were undercooked and something was off about the burgers we had, ended up having food poisoning for 24 hours and relatives had hot flushes from eating off food

Wrexham McDonalds, full of children, aged up to 16 swearing and I mean swearing at the top of their voices and delivery drivers swamping the place. Felt so unwelcome because the place was so intimidating and instead of eating in we took it to the car where we felt safe. Never again Wrexham, never!

Have just had a delivery, this is the second 1 in just over 2 week, I have a crying 6 year old because they forgot her fries in her happy meal, the previous delivery we had a ham burger and McFlurry missing, we did not complain at the time but noted this on the order we have just received, And guess what no fries in a happy meal, it’s a joke tried calling them several times, rang out or phone was ended on myself, How are people suppose to ask for a refund or let them know, I am more annoyed that they missed something after mentioning it on the order, Shocking Wrexham McDonald’s,

To busy with kids pinching other orders that had been prepared for delivery, no queuing orders at all, and as kids were pinching orders, a young male staff worker then decided he was going to ask sitting customers to prove their purchases by providing a receipt instead of chasing the group of kids for the stolen goods, I mean come on McDonald's get you restaurant into order instead of keeping just eat happy, even if you had 1 delivery driver waiting 50 minutes for a burger anyway, focus on your paying customers who are sitting in your restaurant instead of the universal credit customers who can't get out of bed McDonald's in Wrexham has gone downhill for summer service quality and hygiene overall ( -1/10) we also had a child with a wheel chair and the restaurant is wheelchair friendly but with gangs of kids the self serve lay out and people's dum arrogance not to be considerate that they have legs to travel up to 2 floors we had to wait for 58 mins to sit down when upgrading this restaurant may be worth investing in a lift and no point in your disabled toilets iy is always constantly used by gangs of kids out side the restaurant it was more like a youth club, McDonald's use to be so focused on being family place it was the place to go now it is so focused on making money threw home deliveries that it seems to have lost it's family values as a restaurant but become a dinner place of chaos think ill just go to burger King at least their youths know how to urinate in a toilet instead of pee on floor and poo on walls

excellent service and friendly staff. The food was hot and we did not have to wait long for it. The tables were clean and staff were seen to be actively keeping the restaurant area clean. will definately visit again when next in Wrexham.

Disgusting place, one of the most revolting places you can find in Wrexham, if your not being ignored or pushed out of the way by staff your being abused by the rabble of wild teenagers who frequent the spot, they will smoke shout swear and throw things around to add to your experience. Oh and when asked what they're going to do about it the staff laugh and say what can we do? This is what happens when children are allowed to pretend to be adults.

Cold fries no ice-cream wrap with wrong sauce on it wrong kids meal and this is not the first time it’s happened good enough to take your money shame you don’t get what you order

That's how for Wrexham Mcdonald looks 3x boxes of chicken selects. This is every time with a bigger order, some items are missing. Like a pattern That's not acting unconsciously, this is done with purpose and that robbing money from people! Absolutely embarrassing from all workers!

i am a vegetarian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i ordered a chicken salad but they brought me chicken selects, that’s isn’t the end of it i am a teenager with diabetes and they brought me coke i could of died and the workers laughed me, the chips were bloody lovely but i had to run somewhere after, and now this is the end my coke had a select in it this is disgusting behaviour as i am a vegetaria get to chirk mcdonald’s ASAP
