The best restaurants in North Wales

We booked at the last minute for a nights stay, the room was ok except no soap in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant was closed so we cannot comment. It served its purpose we just needed a bed for the night.

Have now been half a dozen times and its the same every time - slow to take an order, slow to serve the food unbelievably slow to get a bill and take payment. The foods good, the prices are reasonable but with 5 staff in the place during our last visit and only 6 customers the poor service is the reason we now go elsewhere.

Ordered via' just eat' It was late delivered. Driver couldn't find me even though i left clear instructions. Meal arrived£8.50 for 4 pieces of chicken in a Tikka sauce! ROBBERY!

My 1st time in St Asaph we popped into this lovely little pub the owners were very welcoming it had a great family atmosphere. Young kids there with there family brightened up the place great beer great service will definitely return

Pessimo, sporco, da chiudere. Appartenente un hotel ma in pratica un incubo. Molto vecchio e solo parzialmente rimesso a posto. Pavimento sportivo. Armadio con indumenti di alle persone. Un calzino sotto un mobile. Materasso sfondato.

I have just visited Costa (cafe) Plas Coch, Wrexham. I regularly go to this Costa, and always find the staff welcoming and friendly. Alicia, Maddie, and Scott, are consistently friendly , helpful and polite . even when they are very busy, and they still keep smiling! Was looking forward to our holiday the hotel looked great on the outside, then we arrived and….it all went wrong!! The hotel was shabby and in dire need of attention and the receptionist was foul mannered and obnoxious and when we found our room without help or direction the lights didn’t work I spoke to the receptionist who told me I obviously didn’t know how to work lights i must’ve broke them myself, we checked out within 5 mins of arriving, we had trouble finding somewhere else at short noticed this ruined our family getaway. We never complain but this so called hotel needed a response, it’s full of homeless and drug taking individuals who loiter at the entrance, be warned !!

We love this town and, after a long walk through the stunning country side we enjoyed two gorgeous ice creams here. Service with a mile and a nice atmosphere. Thank you

Absolutely horrendous customer service, no manners from the get go even with my polite greeting, when i asked for a few chilli flakes they abrubtly said 50p l, will not be visiting again tried to fight me after walking out the shop, dont appreciate getting spoken to like a naughty child, manners go a long way expecially with the public, will not be visiting again ever

Cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen! Sausage and egg bin lid was fit, sausage roll went down a treat as well!

Food was delicious, highly recommended the burgers and salt & pepper fries- chicken burger was so juicy and beef burger very tasty. You pay for the quality you receive. Still cheaper than a pub/ restaurant meal and set in a lovely location.

First time to this pub Saturday afternoon friendly staff I ordered fish asked what fish it was went to ask the chef he didn’t know just white fish As there was nothing else I fancied on the menu I took a chance My partner ordered lasagne and stepson ordered burger and chips After waiting 1/2 hour meal arrived Well what can I say the chips just looked like they’d been found in the bottom of the fryer or been heated up a dozen times As For me my fish well I just don’t know what to say the taste wasn’t right for one but it was the yellow soft gunk that was oozing from the middle that just said to me don’t eat unless your going to regret it Sons burger was just dripping in grease that put him off plus the chips from the bottom of the fryer same as mine that was probably fresh about 3 weeks ago Partners lasagne was dry and tasteless so overall First time and last time to this pub I did complain and they refunded me for the fish meal To be honest I shouldn’t have payed for any of that dreadful food Cause we just left 3 plates full of food but I’m a business owner and know how hard it is But come on Don’t serve low grade food for normal pub prices And me saying low grade food is being kind

Disgusting behaviour me and my missus sat down too get some money out our wallets too buy some donuts instantly greeted with you can either buy something or you can't sit down

Called in for a few beers on are way to watch football at wrexham, we where away supporters locals very friendly no issues
