Went there for breakfast. (Google says it opens at 8 am). Called there at 9am and waited until 9.20 no sign of life in the store. When I asked the shop next door he said he's not sure when they open. Somebody passing said "They pick there own opening times".
Left disappointed and hungry. Won't be returning as it sounds like you can never be sure whether they'll be open or not!
Been here before the DONUTS have always been nice but today after our walk the DONUTS where horrible misshapen over cooked not round in anyway and uneatable whoever the guy was cooking these needs further training cause he hasn't got a clue and it's unlikely we will be the only ones never to return .
Ordered via' just eat' It was late delivered. Driver couldn't find me even though i left clear instructions. Meal arrived£8.50 for 4 pieces of chicken in a Tikka sauce! ROBBERY!
We booked at the last minute for a nights stay, the room was ok except no soap in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant was closed so we cannot comment. It served its purpose we just needed a bed for the night.
The hotel itself really needs modifying, it's old unprofessional and if you have mobility issues then don't bother.
We booked in with 2 dogs for 2 nights, dog charge £12 per dog per night, I can deal with that. But before we even got the keys, there was a £50 deposit for any damaged caused.
When we got in the room, they should have paid us £50 to let the dogs stay in the room.
Burns in the carpet.
Tiles adrift in the bathroom.
Electrical Socket coming away.
Toilet seat broken and hanging off.
Reception area a dump.
Hotel Signage was better on Faulty Towers
Took a good 20 mins to get out deposit back for the dogs.
Only good thing I would say is that the location was good.
Think I'll go to a travelodge nxt time.
DISGUSTING….. tables full of disgusted trays containing dirty cups, plates ect, I counted in all 35 trays full of dirty used cups ect waiting to be collected off tables, people had put them on chairs and even on the floor , no staff member clearing them , I witnessed at one point an elderly lady was expected to carry two cups and saucers , two teapots and two milk jugs to her table because they had ran out of trays. This costa is so poorly managed it is an unacceptable disgrace.
My 1st time in St Asaph we popped into this lovely little pub the owners were very welcoming it had a great family atmosphere. Young kids there with there family brightened up the place great beer great service will definitely return

Absolutely horrendous customer service, no manners from the get go even with my polite greeting, when i asked for a few chilli flakes they abrubtly said 50p l, will not be visiting again tried to fight me after walking out the shop, dont appreciate getting spoken to like a naughty child, manners go a long way expecially with the public, will not be visiting again ever
We love this town and, after a long walk through the stunning country side we enjoyed two gorgeous ice creams here. Service with a mile and a nice atmosphere. Thank you
Was looking forward to our holiday the hotel looked great on the outside, then we arrived and….it all went wrong!! The hotel was shabby and in dire need of attention and the receptionist was foul mannered and obnoxious and when we found our room without help or direction the lights didn’t work I spoke to the receptionist who told me I obviously didn’t know how to work lights i must’ve broke them myself, we checked out within 5 mins of arriving, we had trouble finding somewhere else at short noticed this ruined our family getaway. We never complain but this so called hotel needed a response, it’s full of homeless and drug taking individuals who loiter at the entrance, be warned !!
Food was delicious, highly recommended the burgers and salt & pepper fries- chicken burger was so juicy and beef burger very tasty. You pay for the quality you receive. Still cheaper than a pub/ restaurant meal and set in a lovely location.
