China Red in Flintshire

We go most Sundays, been doing so for years….. wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. We are not alone in our approval as the place is always busy…

I don't think I have ever had a bad meal from here. Order often and the staff are lovely. Food is quick & as ordered. Wish them all a lovely christmas

Switched to China Red a few months ago, and so far about five out of five takeaway meals have been great….fast, friendly service, reasonable price, and hot, tasty food.

The Salt and Pepper Chicken used to be fantastic. Had it tonight…..Terrible. Soggy batter and a few limp onions. What a shame!

I went to My local Chinese take away China Red last pm In search of a Sweet and Sour Chicken dish with chips and a side portion of boiled rice. I opted for the ‘deep fried balls’ rather than the ‘Cantonese’ option, whatever that is. What I got was a portion of chips , a portion of rice, a bag of chicken balls in batter and a small cup of sweet and sour sauce. This amounted to a do it yourself meal. No box with sauce, peppers, tomatoes and pineapple to make it a meal! The chicken tasted like it had been boiled before being fried in batter and had no texture whatsoever. So disappointing, and to think this cost me £9:30!!! I won’t be going there again even if it is my local take away!!

I have had several meals from China Red when I have been in the area, and I have always enjoyed them. Excellent food, friendly staff and quick efficient service. Thank you China Red.
