Mike's Ice Cream Parlour in Gwynedd

We love this town and, after a long walk through the stunning country side we enjoyed two gorgeous ice creams here. Service with a mile and a nice atmosphere. Thank you

I went here on Wednesday after I had finished lunch in the adjoining Bridge Cafe (see separate review). There was no one serving so I just popped around the corner and caught the attention of the young waitress who came around straight away. There were a limited selection of flavours to choose from. Some weren't labelled (or incorrectly labelled) so I asked what they all were. I liked the sound of the honeycomb flavour but this tub was empty so I opted for a small tub of mango & passionfruit icecream which cost £2.50 which I thought was over-priced and poor value for money. I even had to ask for a plastic scoop to eat it with. I went and sat outside. After removing the strug raisin from off the top (obviously transferred from the rum & raisin tub), I generally enjoyed the taste of my sunshine-coloured icecream.

To busy in cafe so could not get served. Shame but not staffed enough for a wet day in Wales. Could have been great but could not get served.

What a surprise to find a american style ice cream parlour in Blaenau ffestiniog. Great ice cream and great service
