This KFC is now permanently closed. Clearly some of the reviews below are of a different branch as they refer to the drive through but this branch was on a pedestrianised section of the High Street so, for obvious reasons, has never had a drive through.

The experience was terrible I ordered two oreo krushms and received 2 chocolates milkshake because the girl had shut the machine of all I wanted was to drink of the supple nipples of the krushms machine and all I got was chocolates milkshake it was mildy revolting I had chicken aswell but don't get me started on that it was the worst fast food experience of my life I cried like a child all night like it was my fault somehow but my mental health team says it wasn't I'm glad to say I got over this within a couple weeks but as Sandra says its not to forget but to realise you are a bigger man for getting thru that

It was really bad experience. Uncooked chicken and chicken wings were red inside with blood pooping out. Never had such a bad kfc experience anywhere .

Hot food as it was cooked to order.....bit of a wait but not excessive.

On this visit had to wait 15min for my order as there was no chicken on the racks at 3 o clock they should have chicken ready. Delivery driver had to wait over 10min.

The food was cracking. The guy out the back is in charge, the newbie, bless him, messed up a few orders. The tables weren't too clean but the toilet was. The atmosphere was OK coz there was reggae music out front. It's a chicken shop on the High Street - the chicken was good - what more do you want?..

They had no bargain buckets and did not want to serve us at 8.50. So left. My son was so upset.

NOT HYGIENIC. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER. WORST KFC. They literally have nothing.

The floor and tables filthy, asked the staff to wipe the table they reluctantly spray a cleaner and wiped half one table we where a party of six and had three tables ,bins where full ,will never go there again absolute rubbish in every respect

The food is always good but the problem is the place is always dirty the floor is disgusting and the tables aren’t always clean. There is a massive queue always and there is a massive crowd waiting to get their food. There is only 1 toilets and you have to ask the cashier to get the key to open the door 😡. And the bin is always full

RIDICULOUS Closing time....., I know, although during the week,. BUT to close at 9.30 PM 😕😳?!!. How I MISS the KFC of the 1990s.....

Worst KFc, waited over 20 mins. The food was over cooked and unrecognisable as Kfc. Burnt and very greasy. Items also missing. Disgrace to the KFC brand.

Ordered coleslaw unstead of gravy but get both, ordered regular but get large drink instead.

Absolutely shocking length of wait for order. Staff seemed clueless, no customer service skills, will not visit here again for food, will go Holyhead KFC next time which is 25milea further but be quicker than waiting!

Would give zero stars if I could. Visited just before 9pm, was refused the use of the toilets and was told its closed for the night and we didn’t have to get food from there if we were unhappy about being denied toilet access. Noticed we were denied because they had just cleaned them as the floors were all wet… Also we got drinks in cans instead of pouring in cups because the counters were also cleaned. We still proceeded to get a take away which took 40 minutes after all the attitude initially… Poor service and bad attitude towards customers… denial of service and request made too Would not recommend at all

We waited for the food for 40 minutes, we got cold fries, we paid for a Coca-Cola which we were not served, we had to ask, the place was dirty, I do not recommend it

Drive through is a joke - twice I've been screwed over by this place. Queued only to be told when you get to the window/speaker that it's cash only ! Then you have to sit in the queue for another 10minutes just to get out of the place with no food !!! Can't even be arsed to stick a sign up on the entrance to the drive through. Suggested it to the service window only to be met with a gormless look and them trying to give me someone else's order 🤷‍♂️

After waiting 20 mins for our order, only 10 people in the place! wouldn’t want to go there when it’s busy! Ordered 2 x 3 pieces meal deal all we got on both was chicken drumsticks! When I approached them his answer was “ that’s all we got” if this is the case it should specify this on software when ordering, I would have changed our order! I took a photo of the meal on screen and it showed 1 drumstick and chicken breast and a thigh, for what it costs these days get it right! Was very greasy.

Arrived home with food missing from the bag. Staff member on drive thru needs more training in customer service as he was opening his window, handing the food over and closed it back and I was totally ignored. he was very rude!

Dirty tables and bin overflowing food luke warm my first and last visit

Went there drive through,,waited,,waited,,as only me and one car there,,finally got my 10 pieces of chicken and went home only had 6???never go there again,,,

45 mins in the drive through to watch them try give out our order to 3 different cars. When we finally got the food it was no joke colder than if I'd popped it in the fridge, moreover got 50% of the order randomised, who even orders coleslaw. Futhermore whoever's on shift got selective hearing as they don't answer the landline, busy consulting the crystal ball as to what to replace what you actually ordered with. KFC usually peng, this time I've left feeling hurt, embarrassed and with a low libido.

35 minutes in the queue for drive thru m. What a joke! And all I get is a lacklustre 'thank you for your patience ', oh and another 5 min wait for my food! I only wish I could give -ive ratings.

I visited the KFC in Bangor Gwynedd today with my daughter and was pleased to experience the fantastic customer service from the staff there. It was clear that they were all rushed off their feet, but Diane and another lady serving at the time went above and beyond to make sure that my order was perfect. They always had a smile on their face, despite the busy atmosphere, which made for a pleasant experience. I can't thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. I think it's easy to forget how hard these staff work in such a busy environment, and I wanted to take some time to thank them for their incredible customer service. Diane in particular was a delight to interact with, and her friendly demeanor and willingness to help was greatly appreciated. In conclusion, the KFC in Bangor Gwynedd is a great example of how a fast food joint should be run. Their staff are always friendly, helpful and hard-working, and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Diane and the other lady for making my visit a pleasant one.

Not a very good visit - Dirty tables, but empty tables! Had to clean myself to make room for the children to sit. Waited 20 mins to be served , whilst one staff member was on her phone observing the fries cooking, and the young gentleman on his own on the till. And Dirty toilets!

Looking for somewhere to eat in Wales is difficult, kfc was open all day everyday. Fair to good food.

Stopped by just to have an krushem, was fairly full, the floor and empty tables were mess. Spillage on the floor ,salt and chips everywhere. Looks terrible, personally I wouldn't have a meal there. We took our krushem out and enjoyed it on the bench. The cashier looked bored, hardly eye contact, no smile. Not great customer service

Though I'm a lover of kfc I found the flavour lacking but the service was great

Personally, wouldn't bother. If you do - make sure to park up and check what you get, because they never get it right. I've had children starving at home because weve come back with the complete opposite to what we ordered. The quality is usually outstandingly poor, but sometimes it is quite nice. It is never consistent. We have given it many chances and tonight was the final one - were over.

This was one of the nicest KFCs we have had for a long time. All the food was served nice and hot. Lovely crunchy fries and crispy chicken. Service was with a smile and very speedy.

Caernarfon road kfc 1st time I ordered 3 box meals and only got the burger and chips (non of the extras that made it a box meal) and waited forever for it. I as a customer was explaining to the staff that the order they click to say complete wasn’t complete as they originally gave me one of the so called box meals and didn’t see the other two up on their screen. Then I had to get someone’s attention to say they hadn’t done the drinks - no joke 45mins for them to put the order together that was missing half of it anyway. 2nd time I ordered fillet tower meals - no tower in any of them. I wont be going back there again, if the kids want a kfc Again I’ll head onto the high street branch instead

Amazing taste, my family enjoyed the meal we ordered. Pocket friendly as well

30 minutes for my order!! For my eat in. 2 wraps of the day, 1 boneless banquet. Drive through orders prioratised by the looks of it. Pity the staff,flat out with only 4 at the restaurant side. Sort it out management!!

Bins overflowing. Toilets are dirty. Floors need sweeping. All tables are dirty from previous people eating. I told knew of the staff the bins are overflowing, she said "I know, we are really busy at the moment". They were busy, but it only takes one member of staff to keep on top of the front of house. Needs better management.

The hot wings are my best, i call it chewing sticks.

Sweaty staff, always check the bag - 3/4 times I’ve been here over last 2 years missing item. Massive box but once opened tiny portion. Got asked what sauces did I fancy? Only had ketchup available anyway. Overpriced. Oreo Krushum tiny

Ordered via drive through a party share box,excellent service,food tasted OK..but not great.. an hour later we all experienced churning bellies,stomach cramps,diohrea and vomiting...will not return!

Awful had a Chicken fillet meal with only 9 chips enclosed, husband opted for chicken xinger meal which was put in the bin absolutely horrible piece of chicken (my dogs eat better stuff than this) 🤨

Absolutely shambolic , I went here yesterday with my boyfriend had a sit in meal and I was so excited for it but little did I know hours later I would be paying for it . I had a rice box and so did my toilet later that night , I have not stopped throwing up and having the runs since I will not be returning , absolutely disgraceful will never be returning again ! Absolutely awful sevice. Unreal!!! Ordered through uber and order turns up with no drink. When I call to ask what's going on I'm asked how far away I live because the delivery driver probably won't fetch it back. Horrendous

I am getting fed up of ordering from here, everytime I order from UBEREATS there’s always something missing from my order. CHECK THE ORDERS BEFORE GIVING THEM OUT!!!

Second time we have been recently and second time the wait has been 30 minutes.. Not really fast food is it? Meals were lukewarm and not very nice. Avoid avoid avoid.

Absolutely SHOCKING!!!! Staff completely clueless, 35 minute wait. When food arrived it was cold, drinks order mixed up. A complete shambles, come on KFC get your act together!

30 minute queue. Missed food of the order when it came to pay. Thobbed of to the next window to sort it out. Unhelpful staff and just chucked a few chips in the bottom of a bag. Used to look forward to kfc but never again will we be going to the new one by tescos in bangor.

Nice service, tasty and I was well served but the wait sometimes could be a bit long.

UPDATE 13/3/22 - Gave this restaurant a second chance tonight and wow I didn't think things could get any worse than our last visit but how wrong was i. Even less chips, chicken soaking in oil, missing corn of the cob absolutely disgusting wewill never visit again absolutely shocking standards and chicken tastes like fish. the place needs closing down! Exceptionally Long waiting times for food, chips portions are non existent only a few chips in the bag, dips missing. So disappointed especially when the place has only opened. Not off to a great start to be honest

Both Orders were short. Just thrown in on big box not separated box fell out when openedbag in car Sauce wrong staff member who served said she was feeling really ill I mean jeez stay off with all this covid. Defo not going back there (new drive thru near Tesco) or any other again. Absolute rubbish.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m just shocked with the service we received tonight, told my order at the drive through to the speaker, went to the window to pay, and they didn’t have my order, had to tell my order again like three times for them to finally get it, someone had driven away without paying and that order was stuck on the till and that’s why it was confusing for them, which i totally understand and i was very understanding of it, got to the pick up window and again he didn’t have my order, so told them again my order and finally got the order, had to ask for the krushem, so i though ah never mind, mistakes happen! Finally got the food and was missing my main meal burger so had to park up and go in, waited there for like 15 minutes and finally got served, they gave me the burger and apologised, arrived home and food was cold but i thought ah well atleast we are finally eating, after going through most of my chicken pop corn i noticed one green, I don’t know if it was mold or not but it’s not something i want to eat, I’m hoping this place gets better, but I’m not comfortable going again!

Although im a KFC fan, you can feel that this place is not so clean. Also, staff never listen to your requests and they are usually not so helpful or patient! I did not like how the staff treated their customers

First experience went pretty poor, long wait, cold food . So not to disrespect the shop went back a couple of weeks later for a drive through. Queued for about 15 minutes, left waiting at the order station for 10 minutes before anyone came on the speaker, took 5 minutes for the employee to get the order right as he couldn’t understand English , got to the serving hatch and saw our meal left on a internal serving counter for 10 minutes before being served, asked the employee just to check the temperature of the meals and had attitude, then had a excuse of being really busy…. There were 4 customers inside, and 4 cars in the drive through line, she then gave more attitude, by which point patience had gone asked for a refund and then more attitude and drama as it took 3 employees to figure out how to give a refund, we left as another 3 drivers refused to pay and drove straight out. This place is a joke, the staff need training and kfc seriously need to look at this franchise as it’s possibly the worst establishment ever!

All around awful. Portion size smallest ive ever seen. Quality was sub standard to normal kfc restaurants. Window Staff friendly though

First time going when it opened was a dodgy start, but I put that down to just having opened and having those teething problems. The burgers were great. Second time I went I thought it would be much better. How wrong I was. As soon as I saw a Manager from the Bangor high Street restaurant I knew the food would be substandard. The fillets in the tower burger were dry and well over done. A minuscule drop of tomato sauce and mayonnaise. To top it off I had to put it all together again as they just threw it in the box. If the KFC bosses even bother to look at these reviews. You guys need better management in this restaurant before it has the same reputation as the high Street.

Dove from pwllheli especially queued for about 20 mins ordered then told can't pay with cash only card due to them not having any change on the premises.Word of advice TELL PEOPLE THAT YOU DO NOT EXCEPT CASH ON WEBSITE TO AVOID MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH CUSTOMERS PAYING WITH CASH WHEN THEY ARRIVE AND ORDERED AT THE DRIVE THRU.Thank God there was another KFC on the high street paid with cash there.

Very disorganised with parking, drive fruw full and when you need to get out of a parking spot you have over cars blocking you in, plus my food was cold tock it back and they refused to give refund I demanded my money back and never got.it, so left there hungry, not recommended.

You know its bad when KFC's fries were the best thing I had in my so called original boneless meal. I don't know how chicken can taste like fish but somehow those wizards have managed it.

Went to this kfc at 10.30am, as that was the time they officially open. Waited at the drive thru, even tried going around twice but nobody served or responded to us. When they finally did almost half an hour later, we were told the till wasn't ready, would be "in a minute" to which they then closed the window on us. Then told us 5 minutes or so and closed the window again. We waited until we lost patience with nobody bothering to tell us anything - awful service, unorganised and rude. Absolute shambles.

40 minute wait for food, not great but it was busy after all. Staff were all very polite. However, when we got the food home quite a few items were missing, try explaining to an 8 year old child that he has no food despite him being the reason we went there🤬

My partner was missing his boneless banquet meal and drink! When he starts to to check the bag staff member says everything's there. Should have checked anyway.

There comes a point in which such terrible quality ceases to disgust you and instead amazes you. 2 tower burgers missing the key component - the tower. A boneless dipping banquet missing any of the dips or gravy. Ice cold chips and rubbery dry chicken again stone cold. Does this place have a management structure? Please train your staff if they're not too busy in Year 9 extracurricular activities. Thanks x

I am going to start with 'If I could give the restaurant 0 stars I would due to my experience today. I visited KFC Bangor in the Gwynedd area approximately 13:40-14:00 with my friend. While in the queue (keeping in mind around that time it is bound to be busy and there's a line). I asked one of the female staff members who was wiping tables if I could use the toilets and she looked at me and informed me that I needed to ask for the key at the till. I responded with ok thanks no worries which is not an issue whatsoever. I waited in the queue for another 5 minutes and I was just about to order my food and then ask for the key when a group of girls sat next to the till asked the same woman for the key to the toilet to which she responded with 'yeah sure no worries'. She left everything she was doing and brought them the key to use. I then asked the staff member why she informed me that I had to ask at the till but then gave the girls the key who asked after me. Her response was absolutely despicable and shocking. She looked right at me and responded with 'oh whatever whatever'. Someone behind her I couldn't see stated something which I did not hear and the staff member responded with 'I know everyone wants to have a go at me' and all I stated in a calm manner was 'I am not having a go at you at all I am just trying to understand why you've treated me differently to the others in the restaurant'. To which she responded with 'yeah yeah whatever whatever'. At this point my friend saw red and stated this is disgusting behaviour and I am not having my friend spoken to in this manner I want that lady's name and as he said this she shouted from behind the till 'CHARLIE'. When the manager arrived he asked what happened and myself and my friend relayed to him what had happened. My friend informed him that this was racial discrimination at it's finest which I also believe that it was. I was the only person that was a minority there and of colour. I was absolutely horrified and I am scared to go back in there. Unfortunately although the manager was lovely he didn't do much. He gave me a popcorn chicken box for free and 15% discount on my next visit which I feel does not take away how I was treated. I do not come to public places to be racially discriminated against. I hope to hear back from yourselves as to what can be done about this because I am extremely hurt and upset by this as is my friend we did not expect this to happen. I am not the type at all to use the race card but unfortunately I was discriminated against and I won't stand for it. My friend is a Caucasian Welsh male who saw what happened and I even asked him if I was in the wrong when I knew fully well I wasn't and he informed me I was discriminated against. KFC needs to careful or provide further to their staff in order to know how to handle the public and if they do not meet the standards they should not remain within the establishment as this looks bad for the business as a whole because unfortunately I will be informing everyone I know of my negative experience.

Just been and ordered the gravy triple bucket meal. Very disappointing no popcorn chicken in it, hardly any chicken, won't be going again

Looks and smells amazing. Very clean and the toilets are always clean. Would definitely recommend.

We visit this store Sunday 7th Nov.. We where going to sit in, but noticed all tables where dirty, spilt drinks, empty packaging so decided to take away. The floor was also littered. Our food was cold, greasy and tasteless. Worst KFC I have visited!!

Great staff. Went there late Sunday. And although they where mad busy, they where all smiling and polite.

The zinger popcorn box I ordered came inside a snack box which they half filled it only had around 25 pieces I spent 5.99 on this and received less then half of what I was supposed to very disappointed and won't be buying this ever again the popcorn itself tasted stale. Didn't expect KFC quality to go down this bad.

Order from there a few times with uber eats 3 times its happen now where there is food side or drinks missing 2 times its happend been at work they told me to pick it up when I can't no money back eather

Really friendly young woman who served us. Food was served quickly. Only down side is that the place is so small it gets very cramped.

I think this place is the dirtiest KFC I ever been. The floor was sticky when I visit them. And the staff are just like "meh" I know its tired to stand up all day. But its nice to be nice.
