My wife was given three course meal for two as a gift. Only a small choice of items on the menu 4 starters, mains and deserts but this wasn’t a bad thing as the food was outstanding. Portion sizes were just right. Service was also great. £11 for two bottles of water and £45 for a decent bottle of wine. My desert wasn’t as expected and didn’t really work, lemon drizzle cake with Eaton mess cream.
Great service , friendly and lovely atmosphere. Value for money
Always feel welcome when we come here
Clean….. and beautifully presented food
(Ate too much but still got to take my left overs home!)
Definitely worth a visit just for the Sag Aloo
See you again soon x
Went here last week and bingo was about to start, we was made very welcome and really enjoyed ourselves
The staff were lovely and all customers were very friendly too and joined in somewhat with the numbers being called 😂😂
Friendly professional and great from the moment we arrived. They put my friend's bike in the back, gave us iced water and a window seat and fresh tasty tacos with a smile all in the first ten minutes!
We hired Snails for my mums 70th birthday party and Fran & the team did such a good job of making this a special occasion. Snails were reasonably priced when other venues we contacted were super expensive, all we had to pay for was a buffet for 25 people.
The buffet was good, the staff on hand at the party were super friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend Snails for a private function.
Stopped over in camper van. Quiet but good fire. Limited beers and kitchen initially closed. Two more locals turned up and they wanted food, so kitchen was opened. I then ordered Rump Steak. Have to say it was both welcome and delicious.
Very quiet and safe stop over, and there was a warm welcome in the pub. Just be aware that out of season food might be a bit hot and miss due to too few customers to make it worthwhile.
I can’t comment on food as haven’t eaten here, it’s a lovely ☺️ place to drop by whilst walking your dog. Tables
Outside but dogs are also allowed indoors which is good for “sunny Rhyl”. They have lots of doggie treats too, accessible toilets. Fantastic location too on seafront with good views.
Had a roast beef take away ! It was the best one I had , tender beef , lots of it , loads of veg and tub of gravy . Good price - will 100% be a returning customer ! Had to phone them to tell them ! It beats all the roast dinners I had recently in Usk !!
We went to the Oak tonight as a family to celebrate my son's birthday. The food (curry's mostly as it was curry night), were delicious. Real chips too. Paula served us tonight and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed, she welcomed and looked after the children needs too. Rob also as always is very helpful and keen to make eating her an enjoyable experience. Lastly a shout out to the young lad serving us who was also lovely. I think that he is learning off the best. Thank you guys. We appreciate you.
