Really nice cardiff coffee shop - great service and fast, good food and really close to Roath Park. One of the better local coffee shops in Cardiff. If you're looking for a family run Cardiff coffee shop to stop in or make your local, this is it.
Get away from it all. Peace and quiet with excellent service and lovely food.
Comfortable beds and everything you need.
Bit surprised there was no TV in the room but that just made us do more..
Will go back
Been ordering take aways over 5 months now, all good, except last Sat, chips on getting them home unedible, and hard as if they were stale and reheated, spoilt our meal for two, cost over £43.00. Also chicken tasted tough, also felt cooked and reheated. Other meals were very good, since beginning of year. VERY DISAPPOINTED AS WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN.
Reply would be appreciated.
Been eating from here for a few years and always been good (not award winning good but good) but the last 3 times it has gone down hill and tonight it was inedible dried up chips and sausage in batter that had obviously been hanging about for a while not sure why they would look at the chips and think they were ok to serve tbh and a really smelly fish 😣. Will be finding another chippy

Very good, tasty food. Bit on the spicy side. You must try the pakoras, very very good and generous potions. Thali to share is brilliant (bit spicy, but lovely). Don't forgot you need to heat it up yourself.
Very good restaurant with great food. This was a Friday afternoon visit. We chose the half lobster £35 ,the presentation was very good, cooked just right and tasted delicious. We chose a bottle of chardonnay £35 which complimented the meal well. For desert chocolate pannacotta £10 was very good. The service was good and friendly.
Honestly I don’t know which was worse, the service or the food. The fried beef was purely just fat and difficult not to choke on and the jollof rice has to be a disgrace to African people. Tasted like microwaved rice seasoned with some sort of tomatoes. A shame really, was looking forward to giving this place a go. My friends ordered the wings which I tried, to be fair they were pretty decent, so not a complete 1 star review.
Very disappointed
Order Tom yum soup with prawns asked to make it mild turned up with loads of Birds Eye chilli’s and full of tough ginger root
Prawns however were delicious
Then Prawn toast no prawns and looked like the crusts at end of bread
Main course arrived like warm at best
My partner had the honey duck which she said was delicious apart from the
Veg which was frozen the defrosted and served up
Second time I have visited thought I would give them another try after the last dreadful experience but not much changed
Other tables also sending back food that was Luke warm obviously warmed
In microwave but not stirred as base hot the rest like warm
