Lovely, friendly place, staff are always smiling and happy. Tables and floor are always clean.

Got served by the most helpful barista called Izzy. An absolute joy to sit and read a book with a coffee in there 10/10 service and coffee!

Nice café, with wide range of cakes and treats and coffee is pretty good too. Lots of seating and very dog friendly (as expected) interior decor is clean and tidy and the café never feels too cramped. Worth a visit.

really pretty cafe, the service was good and everyone was polite and friendly enough, the bakery items were so good and literally melted in your mouth, the drinks were also good and the whole atmosphere and presentation of food was adorable

Love it in there as take my bichon frise in and loads of dogs in there so you speak to lots of people and there is 1 cake I love if not sold out crfwin Welsh muffin and croissant

Excellent cafe in Whitchurch. Plenty of seating inside and out. The coffee was superb, and the Welshcakes to die for. On a Saturday morning, it was very busy.

We came in around late lunch time. They were out of savoury vegan options and had only 1 vegetarian option. They welcome dogs, so a great spot to come as a dog owner if you're just after a sandwich, coffee or sweet treats. They serve things for your dog too. The food was tasty. Shame they are often low on veggie/vegan options when I stop by or I'd come more often.

Nice coffee shop. Bit pricey and the service can be a bit slow. Also, don't go here if dogs are not your thing; it makes (more than) a bit of a selling point of being dog friendly. Have never eaten here just had coffee and/or smoothies (but they are very nice). Seriously though, it's a nice friendly atmosphere in a good location and the coffee etc is worth the wait!

A big space with loads of seating. Serving Coffee, hot and cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches. Oh (if it wasn't obvious) they allow dogs and sell their own dog biscuits in aid of guide dogs.

It has a very relaxed atmosphere, the coffee is incredible and the food, well where can I start, just delicious.

On our latest visit I again asked for coffee extra hot but it was still only luke warm, it’s expensive to have coffee that’s not up to standard. The staff are very abrupt so that put me off going back to the counter as it was busy , I felt like they would of made me feel uncomfortable telling them . Also there was two dogs sat up on the chairs with their heads on the table , one was licking the table ….. not hygienic at all , I don’t mind dogs being in there but surly they should not be up on the chairs let alone licking the table. No one was clearing/cleaning tables so some poor person sat at the table after they had left , we were on our way out or I would of made these people aware of what had happened so they could of least asked for the table to be cleaned . This has really put us off visiting again which is a shame as we haven't long found this coffee shop and enjoy the food and cake , also the coffee …. When it is hot .

Always have a great time at Coffi Lab in Whitchurch. Attentive barista who helped carry my coffee to my table and lovely atmosphere.

First time at the coffee lab, and I would recommend it. One improvement suggestion would be the chairs as they are not designed for comfort.

Lovely little place ,great selection

It took ages to get served with warm coffee, not that the three girls chatting behind the counter could care less. It was only the intervention of the manager that changed a poor experience into a good experience by making us two fresh hot coffee's but with the attitude of the staff we shan't be recommending or returning to this Coffi Lab.

Nipped in for a coffee first time at coffee lab, normally a coffee#1 fan, loved the coffee atmosphere was great, service was a little slow though with people queueing a while to get served but worth the wait. Will def visit again and try a cake or two while looked great. Dog friendly, staff were friendly and continually smiling and welcoming. Great visit 5*

A fab, cosy place for coffee and dog watching. It is a very family friendly place, so it can get quite busy, so maybe not so good if you want a quiet spot. However you can tuck yourself away under the stairs! I've not really tried the food but it looks good!

Lovely coffee cakes and bit expensive

This is my regular Saturday morning cafe, where I hang out while I wait for my son to finish his orchestra rehearsal. It’s a lovely place, friendly and great service, comfortable and very popular. Great wifi too, which allows me to catch up with a bit of work while I listen to music or listen to one of my favourite podcasts! Delicious coffee - I try to avoid the cake temptation but the pastries I have tried are delicious! It’s also really nice that it’s a dog-friendly place.

The food, coffee and service was quite good but the place felt like a weird temple for a dog worshipping cult. Anubis anyone? I mean I'm not opposed to dog friendly cafes but is there a need to brand everything with dogs? From the name Coffee Lab (rador) to the cups, even the smoothies are named after dogs. And every thing festooned with cute photographs of dogs, even the toilets had naff pics of puppies. I felt quite sick at the levels of dog related kitsch. When did the UK become so obsessed with these creatures? I find it very odd.

Simply the nicest, tasting coffee, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere.

This is a welcome alternative to the usual commercial coffee shops we know. The service was good, tables cleared very timely and of what I sampled, coffee and toasties were great too. Definitely coming back.

Love this place. Great staff, lovely coffee and plenty of gorgeous food and cake options. Plenty of different seating choices and the only place I've seen and had a Turmeric Latte, which was stunning.

Interesting, I had a cake that was very cold in the middle (probably frozen). I'm not sure I enjoy the number of dogs, but it is clearly a dog friendly cafe, saw one member of staff pet a dog and then go back serving - revolting. Coffee is however good, the tea is also good and the staff are friendly. One star docked for the very cold in the middle cake and one for the poor hygiene of the staff member. Happy to re-review if I go back.

Local parking a bit of a nightmare! Cafe has loads of nooks and crannies and bags of tables, all clean and tidy. Healthy snacks (sourdough bread with most things) and lovely coffee - big range. Very pleasant and helpful service.

It is my little heaven on earth. Such a lovely vibe. Relaxing here after treatments at Velindre really boosted me. Lovely to watch the dogs and their owners...all so cute. The place is light airy spotlessly clean. The welcome is the best and the service is exceptional. The coffee really is very good and the cakes etcetera are so yummie. The decor is fabulous. Wonderful staff. Great place to catch up or do some work on laptop. The place deserves an award.
