Nipped in for a coffee first time at coffee lab, normally a coffee#1 fan, loved the coffee atmosphere was great, service was a little slow though with people queueing a while to get served but worth the wait. Will def visit again and try a cake or two while looked great. Dog friendly, staff were friendly and continually smiling and welcoming. Great visit 5*

Nice coffee shop. Bit pricey and with the slowest service in the world! (They have about 6 people working but only one of them ever seems to actually make coffee, while the others appear to stand around chatting. So, the queue to get served can be very long.) Also, don't go here if dogs are not your thing; it makes (more than) a bit of a selling point of being dog friendly. Have never eaten here just had coffee and/or smoothies (but they are very nice). Seriously though, it's a nice friendly atmosphere in a good location and the coffee etc is worth the wait!

A fab, cosy place for coffee and dog watching. It is a very family friendly place, so it can get quite busy, so maybe not so good if you want a quiet spot. However you can tuck yourself away under the stairs! I've not really tried the food but it looks good!

Excellent cafe in Whitchurch. Plenty of seating inside and out. The coffee was superb, and the Welshcakes to die for. On a Saturday morning, it was very busy.

It's an OK coffee shop but nothing special. Didn't have anything to eat so haven't rated the food. Lots of dogs.

Nice coffee, service was okay. Loads of dogs which is great, but a few songs jumping up on seats which isn’t very hygienic. Food is quite expensive.

The newest venture from the founder of Coffee#1. A big space with loads of seating. Serving Coffee, hot and cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches. Oh (if it wasn't obvious) they allow dogs and sell their own dog biscuits in aid of guide dogs.

Lovely coffee cakes and bit expensive

This is my regular Saturday morning cafe, where I hang out while I wait for my son to finish his orchestra rehearsal. It’s a lovely place, friendly and great service, comfortable and very popular. Great wifi too, which allows me to catch up with a bit of work while I listen to music or listen to one of my favourite podcasts! Delicious coffee - I try to avoid the cake temptation but the pastries I have tried are delicious! It’s also really nice that it’s a dog-friendly place.

The food, coffee and service was quite good but the place felt like a weird temple for a dog worshipping cult. Anubis anyone? I mean I'm not opposed to dog friendly cafes but is there a need to brand everything with dogs? From the name Coffee Lab (rador) to the cups, even the smoothies are named after dogs. And every thing festooned with cute photographs of dogs, even the toilets had naff pics of puppies. I felt quite sick at the levels of dog related kitsch. When did the UK become so obsessed with these creatures? I find it very odd.

Simply the nicest, tasting coffee, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere.

Went here and had the caramel latte and I have to say I've been to a few places and had them but OMG this has to be the best I have tasted I would highly recommend you trying this with their pastry cakes 😍😍😍

Love this place ❤️ I went in on a day I wasn't feeling myself but felt 100 times better leaving..the sourdough toast & coffee was fab & more importantly speaking to some customers with their dogs certainly helped 😊 I will be back..

What a fantastic and friendly place full of lovely, well behaved dogs. The coffee is excellent, the hot chocolate delightful and the cinnamon roll is out of this world..

This is a welcome alternative to the usual commercial coffee shops we know. The service was good, tables cleared very timely and of what I sampled, coffee and toasties were great too. Definitely coming back.

Love this place. Great staff, lovely coffee and plenty of gorgeous food and cake options. Plenty of different seating choices and the only place I've seen and had a Turmeric Latte, which was stunning.

Lovely cafe, great coffee and dog friendly!

Interesting, I had a cake that was very cold in the middle (probably frozen). I'm not sure I enjoy the number of dogs, but it is clearly a dog friendly cafe, saw one member of staff pet a dog and then go back serving - revolting. Coffee is however good, the tea is also good and the staff are friendly. One star docked for the very cold in the middle cake and one for the poor hygiene of the staff member. Happy to re-review if I go back.

Local parking a bit of a nightmare! Cafe has loads of nooks and crannies and bags of tables, all clean and tidy. Healthy snacks (sourdough bread with most things) and lovely coffee - big range. Very pleasant and helpful service.

It is my little heaven on earth. Such a lovely vibe. Relaxing here after treatments at Velindre really boosted me. Lovely to watch the dogs and their owners...all so cute. The place is light airy spotlessly clean. The welcome is the best and the service is exceptional. The coffee really is very good and the cakes etcetera are so yummie. The decor is fabulous. Wonderful staff. Great place to catch up or do some work on laptop. The place deserves an award.

Nice for people with dogs not so much for me like a quieter atmosphere. If you go early as I did this morning nice ambience. Efficient friendly staff. Enjoyed my tea and toast. Lots of space and nice decor. The branch in Llandaff also wirth a visit.

This was my second time in coffi lab in Whitchurch and I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness. I unfortunately chose a table with a screw missing so as I leant on the table my drink spilt over. The staff were so lovely and brought me a fresh drink and were so apologetic. The food and coffee were great. Will definitely be going back again as it is also extremely baby friendly and very spacious for a pram with plenty of seating.

Fabulous place great drinks great food you can bring your dogs in but obviously you need to keep them under control very easy to get to loads of seats,very clean place very friendly staff and they will bring you order to your table to save you waiting, they do take away too, looking forward to my next visit i totally reccomend everyone popping in you wont be disappointed

Delicious coffee! Highly recommended. We’ve been here LOTS of times. Always great service from the friendly staff. Nice vibe inside and there a seating area outdoors for those sunny days. Food is great, plenty of savoury and sweet options……we often take our dog and she LOVES having a cheeky treat from the dog menu.

Always welcoming and positive experience every time i’ve popped in. A great addition to this end of Whitchurch. I will always be visiting, it’s definitely the best coffee place in Whitchurch.

I have been to Coffi Lab in Llandaff and I had a great experience. I was so excited to find out that it has opened another shop in Whitchurch where I live. I went there on Saturday and it did not disappoint. Friendly team, great coffee, tables cleaned quickly and a great buzz there. A lovely addition to Whitchurch

Nice but very slow to clear the tables , was there for 30 minutes and didn’t see anybody clearing the tables
