i am absolutley appalled with the service, one of the employees with ginger hair was stood right infront of me eating chips with no gloves behind the counter and didnt wash her hands before preparing my food, i have no problem with employees eating while on shift however id rather it not be done right infront of my face from MY food that i had to take home, additionally, i ordered a tub of irish curry sauce, im quite a germaphobe so i like to watch my food be made and im glad i did because when she was potting it up a bit dribbled down the side of the tub and she proceeded to lick it off her finger in the middle of preparing my food feel this is highly unacceptable this chippy has gone out of control. i was going to make a complaint then and there however i wanted other customers to be aware and all the workers completely dismissed me, not even sparring a glance at me, i will not be returning and will be telling family and friends

It was okay nothing else, it arrived cold and there wasn’t much sauce with the curry was expecting abit more for what I paid.

This is a fantastic food location with a lovely atmosphere. The road on which it is located has a lot of strong contenders for great food with a wonderful welcome, but we can confirm that the breakfast and coffee are superb. We will be back, both for more breakfast but also to try the lunch and dinner menus, the latter of which is a Texan BBQ focus 🤤

Absolutely amazing, went for food and some drinks . Very friendly staff. Food was great . Highly recommend. Be visiting again .

Nice, clean, reasonably priced cafe with good choice of drinks. Limited food menu but my order of sweet chilli chicken on pitta bread was tasty and warm. Music being played was quite loud but we could still talk. Nice clean toilets too. Would go again.

Expected high standards. Was in for a shock as I did not feel that the staff were attentive to even cared to ask us how our food was. I mean it’s good they didn’t because it was terrible.

Mi marido y yo amamos el pescado con patatas fritas de Youngers y viajamos una distancia para obtener F & C de ellos durante años. La calidad nunca vaciló. Lamentablemente, parecen haber cerrado, lo que es una gran vergüenza. Su listado de Google dice que están cerrados temporalmente y lo ha hecho desde al menos octubre de 2024 y su sitio web ha dicho que vendrá pronto desde entonces en esa misma época.

Not as nice as it used to be. Only 2 people eating there when we visited. Long wait at the bar to be served.

What an amazing 21st birthday party my daughter had last night.The room looked fantastic balloons amazing food excellent and all the staff helpful, friendly and worked so hard to keep the night alive. Everyone enjoyed every second.

I stayed for just the one night mid week in March and really enjoyed the stay. The New Court In is a pub with a number of rooms upstairs and there's a separate entrance if you're arriving late or leaving early. It's located in the centre of USK with all the amenities a short walk away. You can park outside on the street for free. The staff are fantastic, friendly and welcome you like their best ever guest and the rooms are comfortable with decent bedding and a really comfortable mattress ensuring a good night's sleep. My room was compact with a small ensuite and typical in size for buildings of this type. Tea & a pod coffee machine or on hand and you get fresh milk in a little thermos rather than the uht stuff that is common, this was a nice touch. Food was very good indeed - home made burger and gigantic onion rings was my choice for dinner and there's a home cooked breakfast in the morning with proper thick toast that's actually toasted and hot! Tea comes in a pot and you get a mug, another nice touch. You have to preorder breakfast the night before so it's pretty much ready when you get down in the morning. It's a great place to stay or eat. Try it you will not be disappointed.
