Nice cafe with good food and friendly staff

Good place for breakfast or coffee outside if its a nice day. Staff very helpful and dogs welcome too.

Excellent service, excellent food all served in a great location. Ideal stop point for my cycle ride along the coastal path. The staff were friendly, funny and added to the whole experience.

Been here a few times after parkrun. Staff work really hard and will always find space for people when it's busy. Great food and coffee...love the trimmed bacon which I normally struggle to find anywhere else👍

A real gem of a Cafe, amazing food and drinks and really pleasant staff and a nice bustling atmosphere. It gets very busy at peak times but is well worth a stop if you are passing through or enjoying a stroll around the park. Dog and child friendly too.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch of Jacket potatoes today. Food was delicious 😋 & the Staff were great & very attentive. Will definitely be returning

The poached egg is, in my opinion, one of life’s wonders. It’s rare to get a good quality one when you’re out and about. Turns out, the magic happens here at the Pavilion Cafe. Danielle’s Eggs Benedict was spot on. Best in the North, I’d say. The large vanilla latte was an excellent accompaniment and little Fleetwood throughly enjoyed his doggy sausage. Bacon bun with lots of tomatoes has become Caroline’s favourite weekly staple. Top service from Sam and Billy and we look forward to experiencing Terry’s poached eggs next time, which sounds like a dodgy metaphor but totally isn’t. If you’re looking for a relaxed, clean and friendly place for great quality food, you’ll find no better.

Lovely place indeed, ordered 2 cheese and tomato paninis, a coke and a drink. Server quick, payment quick when served so out of the way.Lovely friendly staff. Delicious food, served with salad and crisps. Defo coming here again and advise anyone else to pay a visit to here.

Lovely little cafe , had a couple of coffees.. which were nice, needed a biscuit with them, so bought a small twix.. £1.80!!! Very expensive! So will avoid snacks there in future, but overall a nice place

We have been calling in for a coffee for quite a while now, very disappointed on our latest visit today. We had missed the morning rush so we were very disappointed that when our drinks came they were luke warm. We didn't complain as they appeared to be short staffed.

Ideal pit stop on the coastal path or a location for lunch as it is accessable by road too. I stopped for a spot of lunch as i had come down the cycle path from Five Roads. There was a small que to get served which is a testament to the quality. The menu was varied and the setting was very pleasant. The tuna special baggette caught my eye. I was served by the lovely Leigh-ann (sorry if spelling is off) with a big smile. The food was delicious, tasty, arrived promptly and didnt cost the earth. I must add the whole staff contingent looked happy and as if it was a fun place to work. This was reflected in the whole place having a nice buzz both inside and out where lots of customers were enjoying the hospitality. A thouroghly pleasant experience that i will be coming back to.

Only the second time, visited since the refurbishment, and its lovely the food is great and the service is brilliant, totally recommend 😀

Great place, nice food, the waiting staff were lovely, but the fact that everything had to be ordered through one person walking about with an iPad was a bit nuts. I couldn't just go up to the counter to get a bag of crisps for my very hungry 5 year old, I had to wait for the waiter to serve me on the iPad. Other than that though it was nice.

Lovely BUT won't go back. How to run a cafe that stands in the way of making money... I don't know who designed the process at this cafe, but on a Sunday in a park it's a majority of people with kids and dogs. I wanted to pop in and get a takeaway coffee (which they do serve) but I was told by the cafe bouncer (yes there is one) that I had to sit at a table, wait for a guy to come and serve me with an ipad and then I had to wait for others (with food orders) to be served first. I didn't bother. Eventually after the walk we sat down. The food took 45 MINUTES, this was an order of 2 x eggs on toast. 45 ms in a restaurant is just about acceptable but in a park cafe with kids and dogs it was mental. We went up to the counter to buy some crisps to keep my daughter happy in the huge wait for food and was told in no uncertain terms I had to sit back down at the table and order with the waiter for just a packet of crisps!! So you are unable at any point to be able to order at the counter or just pick up say a can of coke or a packet of crisps on the go, you have to sit at a table. They are massively missing a trick here, if they had a small window hatch where they could serve ice creams and coffees and crisps etc to people that were on the go then they'd make a hell of a lot more money doing it this way which causes people frustration, massive waiting times and loses them money IMO. just because things were always done that way doesn't mean that they should be done what that way forever, and I've never seen this process in a park cafe in my life. I actually feel sorry for the for the young waiters and waitresses. The manager I'm sure will vilify my review but before he does perhaps he needs to consider his process may be flawed and not all the people that come here and go through the same thing...

Came for lunch with friends recently, and the food is absolutely beautiful! Friendly faces serving you, welcoming atmosphere and overall just a lovely place to be. Definitely will be returning very soon to try more of the amazing food!

Visited for lunch with friends and was warmly greeted by a pleasant young man who attended to us swiftly. The choice of food on the lunch menu was more than ample and the end result was delicious and very generous portions 😋 everyone in the group had different and all agreed was fabulous. The price was very reasonable too. Will definitely be returning to work our way through the menu ..have no bad words to say as from start to finish was made to feel welcome and all the staff were very attentive .

Really nice food, the service was also brilliant. I had the springhead special chicken burger, perfectly cooked, along with the skinny fries, I'd definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back 👌 We went for evening food, but they're open from breakfast time too, they are also top notch.

Went for the Breakfast. Place is nice, clean and tidy and i'd describe it as half way between greasy spoon and posh farm shop with some outdoor seating. Value for money shouldve been average however they won't do swaps or let you order your own individual items, this isn't a busy city centre place and can't justify this approach IMO. So between the family I paid for four items I didn't get, which by their pricing is £4.80, for this reason I won't be back.

Visited the Pavilion with some friends for a bite too eat at lunch time. Great variety of food to offer on the menu with something to suite everyone’s dietary needs. Great customer service served with a smile. Portion sizes spot on and not over priced! Shout out to Jess with the cute milky designs on the Latè! Will defiantly return!

Tried The Pavilion for the first time today & can happily say i'l be going again, the food and service from the staff were spot on. Was sat inside because it was raining but plenty of seating outside for the warm sunny days.....perfect for a spot of lunch & a nice cold drink after a stroll round the park.....fresh water for ur thirsty pooches too! :0)

The Pavilion was disappointing. Just a sandwich or a panini on a plate. The tea came in mugs no lemon and we had to ask for hot water.

Shame it's a lovley place food nice ,the ordering system is awful ,even takeout coffee took 35 mins to come ,seen so many people walk out ,such a shame ,we used to go all the time , found new place to go but not open on Sunday 😔,time to look elsewhere for Sunday breakfast.

Always good friendly staff and quality reasonable priced food. Usually you can get a seat inside no problem unless a particularly busy weekend in the summer, but there is also plenty of outdoor seating too, weather permitting. Onsite toilets and wheelchair friendly premises. Free parking in the main park. Cafe is situated between the tennis courts and the skate park and is well managed and open good long hours even on a Sunday. Be nice to improve the atmosphere with a little music in the background and uplighting. I go here regular and will continue to. Thank you everyone.

Food disappointing and tasteless. Server forgot part of our order - one tried to blag it was on its before the original server admitted he'd missed it off the order, despite reading it back to us.

We stopped here after a walk along the coastal path. The food was great and really good value. The staff were very friendly and service was really quick.

We had 4 dogs and 5 adults. Great food GF options available. We opted to sit in a wee foyer bit as we had many dogs, but still dry, clean and fine. Price good Food good All good 👌🏻

My Husband and myself visit this cafe as it was dog friendly and had a few decent reviews. Oh how disappointed we were. We only ordered 2x ham and cheese toasty and 2 x Teas. The result for the sandwich was awful. The ham so thick we found it hard to chew and whatever cheese was used it hadn't melted and went rock hard as the sandwiches started to cool. Very fatty bread. We're on holiday here for 9 days but certainly won't be back we thought it may be a little cafe for morning breakfast so a big let down

called in for cuppa but ended up having a meal. meal was made fresh to order and nothing was to much trouble for the staff located on the cycling path between llanelli and burry port also fab park and a playing field for children

Popped into the cafe today, we were greeted by very friendly staff (Leanne) who went out of her way to look after us, especially as it was so close to last orders! Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Also passed on local knowledge for our future walks. Good to note they also sell doggy ice-cream. We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a take away order from here recently. We ordered sausage and mash which contained hard mashed potato, no peas or gravy which was advertised on the menu. The lasagne we had was very dry and very tough to eat. The steak pie was enjoyed by those who had it but that was the only highlight of our takeaway. Would not recommend getting a takeaway meal from here in the future.

The notice says open until 2.30 but we were turned away at 2 pm as the staff said they had to clean although they did offer a take away. As it was cold and damp we had hoped for a seat inside as only 2 allowed indoors and it was empty

Wow....what a place! I take a fair bit of impressing and we were asking a lot trying to find somewhere family and vegan friendly on a rainy day in August. We were given a lovely welcome and reassured by the superb covid secureness with nice little ‘pods’. They catered really well for all of us with hearty portions and were more than happy to put a vegan breakfast together for me. Such a good price for what we had and everyone found it super yummy with not a morsel left over. It certainly set us up will for the 3 plus hour journey ahead. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. What appears to be a fairly run of the mill sports pavilion cafe is very deceiving inside. I am pretty sure no one will be disappointed.

The service at front of house was good but the staff behind the scenes weren't great. After reviving a cappuccino made incorrectly and a comment made by the back of house staff, we won't be returning.

A lovely little cafe offering a wide range of food from coffee and cake to jacket potato and main meals. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the location next to the coastal path and a fantastic playground is ideal. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped in to the Pavilion Cafe whilst wandering around the adjacent park. Had a straightforward good value cooked breakfast which was cooked and served by helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Staff & food amazing. The milky coffee is the best we have had in our week here and I normally have black coffee!!The Breakfast is the best for miles. The poached eggs...perfect,the sausages amazing, and even have gluten free bread. Just wish we had sampled the lunches. The staff could honestly not do enough for us. Added bonus is it is in a really good children's park & football field. With the Welsh Coast path behind it, the cafe is a good landmark. Highly recommend.

We had the most lovely breakfasts here and were even able to sit outside in the sunshine, the food was presented nicely and really well cooked and didn't cost the earth, even the staff were friendly a great find.

We called at the Pavilion last week with our two grandchildren after using the adjoining park. A warm welcome and good food which is prepared fresh for you at a reasonable price.The pavilion is a regular for dog walkers, cyclists etc who use the coastal path, we would highly recommend a stop here.

Brilliant location just off the Sandy Water Park Cycle path and close also to the main road with good parking facilities. This cafe offers a huge choice on its menu and will suit a majority of tastes. I was a little worried when we visited as they were packed out and I asked how long the wait for food was. I was assured that there was hardly any wait and true enough the food arrived within 15 minutes freshly cooked. The local council have installed a huge new children's play area immediately alongside the cafe which MUST have boosted trade massively. You can have a coffee or snack whilst watching your little ones in the extensive play area. A great cafe which we will visit time and time again.

i use this place on a regular basis as i cycle to Llanelli from Burry port and back. its about half way and the food is good reasonable with an extensive choice

Our second visit to this nice cafe upon cycling along the path . We had a very tasty meals their and the staff were very friendly and helpful even tho they were very busy . For the cost of the food I would say it’s amazing quality far better than most pub chains we have been too plus there is a nice park outside for children to play in . We would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

My husband and daughter and myself regularly visit the Pavillion for an early dinner/breakfast whichever takes our fancy,i always go for the Chicken Curry chips n rice,always lovely,nice friendly service and nice location,nice park for the kids to play i and nice airy views , but beware of letting children wander because of the exposed railway track.

The prices are fair, not too costly. But it is very popular and you can struggle to find a place to sit especially during peak lunch times.

My family has visited this cafe on numerous occasions throughout different seasons.

My husband & I have stopped at this cafe a few times especially when walking along the coastal path. I have a wheat allergy so usually have an omelette but they do gluten free bread and cakes so there's always plenty of choice. The girls are always very pleasant and waste no time cleaning the tables. My parents also like this cafe and we always recommend it to other people.

I ate here with a group of people who were doing a sponsored walk, starting from the cafe, there's plenty of parking, we went off on our walk and came back to a warm welcome . There are a few disabled people in our group who were treated with respect, unlike another established restaurant that we have walked from previously. We all had a delicious all day breakfasts. Excellent service from staff that look as if they want to be there! We will definitely return.

This friendly informal place is great for lunch, an all day breakfast or just coffee/tea & a snack after an exhilarating walk along the millennium coastal path. The reasonably priced food is good, served promptly and with a smile. The steak and ale pie, fish & chips and fish cakes were excellent. Good portion sizes. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and their authenticity and sense of humour are so refreshing. Not to be missed.

Brought my friend here for a quick snack for lunch after walking my dogs. We had a sausage baguette and a bacon sandwich with coffees. It was very busy but we were served promptly and food delivered to an outside table quickly. Importantly for me was a large, filled water dish for dogs. We also noticed a play area for the kids, lots of grass and an occasional view of trains going past . Lovely!

Typical beach-side cafe with the usual cafe menu. Service was quick and cheerful and the welshcakes were.. well.. welshcakes...

Fancy food is all well and good but sometimes you just want simple wholesome food at a sensible price and served with a smile. The all day breakfast is served all day. Simple! A wide ranging menu provides plenty of tasty alternatives, many of which are home cooked. At home. Simple! And all available whenever you want them. Simple! All in all, well worth at least one visit... it would take weeks to sample everything that's on offer. And you can take that as a challenge!

Typical cafe food but really well presented. I enjoyed a tuna brown baguette with a very fresh salad garnish. The obliging manager allowed us to leave our motor home in the carpark while we wandered into Llanelli for a couple of hours. Big open grassy area to walk a dog. Overlooks the estuary.

Called in here for breakfast midweek and kind of wished we had driven right past.We had 2 large breakfasts and coffee. The coffee was very nice but the breakfast was just average.Cheap sausages and bacon and frozen chips and the thinnest bread ive ever had for toast.Very disappointed with it overall.

Attended this morning for a coffee stop on our walk and we were tempted by the smell of sausage and bacon. We all tucked in to baguettes and pancake stacks and they were absolutely delicious- piping hot and tasty! Incidentally the cafe is in a prime position overlooking the estruary and cycle path with a car park adjoining with if you feel less strenuous. Will definitely be returning...just need to walk the calories off first!

We eat here regularly, they have a varied menu,the food is very good value for money and the service is excellent.

We called into this cafe late afternoon while walking the Kidwelly to Llanelli section of the Wales Coast Path. We only had ice cream and a mug of tea but the ice cream was a delicious locally made ice cream and the tea an excellent brew. The amazing thing about this cafe is that it appeared to be a real community hub with older people enjoying a hearty meal and grandparents buying ice lollies for their grandchildren enjoying the super play area after school. Alongside the locals were walkers and cyclists taking a welcome break. All appeared welcome by cheerful, hard working staff in this no frills, genuine cafe.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good food and drinks. Does get very busy very quickly though as it is very popular.Only drawback is that the baby changing facilities are in the disabled toilet and consists of a scruffy mat to put on the toilet floor. Sorry this is not on in this day and age. The drop down ones on the wall are relatively inexpensive and a lot more hygienic. I would also doubt a wheelchair would be able to get to the disabled toilet through the ladies toilets, with the doors and angles. Also what if it is a male in a wheelchair? He would have to go through the ladies to go?? Not a good idea.

Found this great little cafe on our first walk down the costal path, first time just stopped for coffee, the menu looked very inviting so the next time called in for lunch really good food, and in the summer you can sit out side on the benches.

This very good and friendly, independent little cafe, is situated close to the coastal pathway/cycle route. It is an excellent lunch stop, which is reflected in the constant local clientele. There are even copies of the national papers to read! We had bacon sandwiches, a cake and an excellent mug of tea, but I was seriously tempted to the 'Welsh Breakfast'!

Can get busy especially at weekends due to proximity to cycle track. New children's playground right outside. Sit outside with dogs /bikes. Or inside. Freshly made breakfasts snacks and lunches . Staff are great and the food is excellent value
