1 had the large breakfast, 1 had smashed avocado, poached eggs and bacon. Both breakfasts were generous portions, and the bacon was particularly tasty. We also ordered a latte and a cappuccino , both were just as we ordered them. Lovely surroundings, clean and bright dining area (loos were clean too), and in the cafe, upstairs farm shop and downstairs gift shop staff were welcoming and helpful. We are looking forward to a return trip.

We have visited Parc Y Bocs for some years now and have always enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Last Saturday however the Eggs Benedict was very underwhelming. Small eggs, small muffin, and the smallest drizzle of hollandaise sauce on top. Such a contrast to previous visits. A new skinny chef maybe, or just dissappointing shrinkation? Spot the breakfast on the plate. Lovely location and facilities though.

The food was absolutely amazing, i genuinely said wow when I tried the Victoria sponge and I don't usually like cake that much, it was so fresh it was high class. The burger was amazing too, someone in that kitchen knows exactly what their doing, we will be back very soon we can't wait to try the cake again, there's ton to choose from. Food wise this place is a gem, if it stays as good as this for much longer it'll win awards and become more expensive so go there now. we went just to the cafe so I can't say much on anything else, it all looks good though and it's a very clean place good for all ages.

Went for a Sunday Lunch with friends who live in the area. We hadn't booked but they were able to fit us in. One of our party didn't eat gluten or dairy another had intolerances to onions, garlic and mushrooms. This info was given to the young man who did well to help us. We ordered our mains and desserts. Mains arrived and we all enjoyed the food. We waited for a while, 20 mins, for our desserts to arrive. They didn't so we had to chase then up. All in all food was nice and service was ok. Because it is a large building the atmosphere was lacking.

Shocking experience. Food poorly prepared but just acceptable although we waited over 35 minutes for some of our order to arrive . Meals missed so some had to eat, then 3 meals we didn’t ordered got brought to the table. When our remaining meal was brought it didn’t have the chillies removed as promised. A short time later the same dish still with the chillies was brought back. Not sure if the place was overstretched, incompetent or were actively trying to wind us up. Terrible, we won’t be returning.

We were taken here because it's a d friendly eatery. Because it's dog friendly, inevitably lots of visitors have dogs with them, some single, some in two's, three's or more. When we stay at my son's home, everywhere we go has to be dog friendly so that can be a bit restrictive. However, this restaurant is clearly happy to embrace canines of all shapes and sizes, and with a seating capacity of over 100 you'd imagine there would be lots of space. You'd be wrong. It's a very popular destination. The hall is spacious and pleasantly furnished and orders are taken at the servery and delivered to your table. A bit of a wait when busy, but not unreasonably so, and a wide rage of foods available from cakes to roast dinners. The array of cakes is impressive and the food is well prepared and served, and the coffee good. Not a discrete little venue, but non the less, a good place to visit for food and drink.

Lovely food with generous portions, service lacking at times and insufficient information on the menu. Service- ignored when we first entered the building, told someone would be over to take our order, no-one came so we used the online ordering with no problems (the online system however doesn't allow for customising orders e.g no bacon on burger) Menu- certain items had an incomplete description which resulted in over ordering e.g PYB burger comes with chips which it did not say so we ordered sides of fries which were completely unnecessary. Some of these issues would have been non existent with quality service. This sounds like a moan but it's really a recognition that with a couple of tweaks this would be a five star review

We have been to the restaurant before pre-pandemic and were big fans but probably won't be going back again. The servers are friendly and helpful but the lunch we had was really dreadful. On my plate alone, the food was undercooked, chewy, stringy and overcooked. We had a wait of 40 minutes and there were only 3 tables in the restaurant at the time. A very expensive experience for a carvery. Small portions served, i.e. one half of a single roast potatoes no other potato choice, 3 very small, thin slices of meat, limited vegetable choice, what I would classify as a child's portion and would not label 'Roast carvery'. Desert's were good but again small portions. Limited and expensive choice of small bottled wines. Total cost for 4 adults £120

The experience felt odd, a bit like eating in a staff canteen, but with efficient waitress service. That's down to the noise - with no soft furnishings sound just bounces around the Scandinavian style restaurant and when it's busy it's deafening. It also means you get to listen in to your neighbours conversations whether you want to or not ;) That said, the food was good and reasonably priced, and the service was efficient. Will go again no doubt, but it's not somewhere I'd bring friends, unless they have kids - Parc Y Bocs has an excellent children's playground and disabled facilities.

The childrens play park was good and it was free which was a bonus. the cafe/restaurant has lovely cakes but is quite expesnive. In the shop we were greeted by items reduced from Easter and Christmas which was a bit down market. The prices for welsh cakes and biscuits was double the price of the coop for an identical product. Whilst i would expect a mark up this was definitely over inflated. The chickens were lovely but there was no food to buy to feed them. It felt like it needed an injection of imagination

Visited Thursday with parents and daughter, took 25 mins to be served. Only wanted teacakes and coffee, the teacakes came after about 15 mins and took another 10 for the coffees. Visited again on the Friday, my mum and daughter went into the park and I went upstairs to get a take away coffee, the guy was very rude and told me to go to the outside shop with I explained was closed, his reply was quite bluntly well it shouldn't be. Another lady said the guy that was working in it was on lunch. The guy serving upstairs said I'd have to wait for one as he was busy. I stood aside and waited 10 mins there were rows of trays lined up that were still there when I told the guy I'd wait for the outside cafe to open after the other man had had his lunch. We spent an hour in the park and it still hadn't opened. The park is amazing its just a shame the staff are particularly rude.

What a great place whether stopping for a coffee, picking up local produce, pet supplies and pet food. Or gifts. GREAT friendly staff. THE TOPPING ON THE CAKE IS THE AMAZING CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA WHICH IS FREE . LOCALS KNOW IT WELL BUT TOURISTS WOULD FIND A GREAT STOP OFF BETWEEN KIDWELLY AND CARMARTHEN .My family can HIGHLY reccomend this classy shop and cafe. Staff are welcoming and helpful. It is also very dog friendly as is owned by the big animal /Pet food company Burns . The pet supplies section excellent and there is lots of locally produced food items and gifts to purchase. Well work a visit if your in the area. Open all year too

Proper local, football and horse racing, great atmosphere and a great pint of Guinness. What more do you want?

Dropped in for a drink & supper while on a walk from the nearby campsite. The locals & staff were very friendly. The drinks were cold - perfect. The food was home made & very tasty. If we find ourselves in the area again this is a definite stop for refreshments.

Not been here before, what a lovely venue. Food was delicious, well presented and served by a lovely friendly server. It is rare I leave food but I could not of eaten another bite. The lovely gentle piano music in the background was so nice and relaxing. We eill definately be returning here.

If you like a nice beef steak then look no further! The chef buys his meat from a small Swansea butcher and it’s both great quality and well cooked at an amazingly low price! It’s a pub as well as a restaurant so whether you are looking to eat or just have a beer, it’s great! The only downside is that Doombar is the only ale they keep, you would expect a local welsh beer.
