Stopped in today for a beer and hot chocolate, lovely cafe right on the front, great staff, drinks and view, dog friendly too! Can’t comment on the food as they only serve Thursday- Sunday(I think)Highly recommend

Really lovely cafe tucked on the front near the travel lodge. Don’t follow Google maps location is not correct. They had good coffee and a nice place to sit in or outside weather permitting. Must try the homemade cakes.

Good beer,the only fault was the cigarette butts stubbed out on the tables

Called here for food on Friday evening. Had pizza and loaded chips that tasted like something that you'd have at 1am after a night out. Totally rank and devoid of taste apart upf cheese. Staff seemed amused when we told them food was terrible. Aside from food, the place is nice and great location.

It is a nice looking place. The service was poor, swearing bar staff and they ran out of glasses. We ordered food (pizza and some kind of chips) but the choices were limited....this was the worst pizza I have ever eaten - great big thick crust with an overload of grease. The chips came in a box, also loaded with chemicals. It was disgusting. It is rare I leave anything, but I could not stomach this. I told the feckless girl on the counter, who seemed disinterested and offered no apology. I will not return. Stay away unless you want a heart attack in a box - fast food at slow pace and no quality.

My friend told me this cafe was nice, well it never let me down. We chilled out side and chatted to so many people. The parmasan cheese fries were delicious And I'm definitely coming back x

Great place, good choice of drinks, cozy inside or great to sit on the front and do a bit of watching the world go by.

Just had an absolute belter of a meal. Such big portions and such excellent value for money not over priced at all. Highly recommend. Food was delicious

Walked from Lyons Robin Hood park beach to the cafe via the impressive NR5 cycle path. We had ice cream which was delicious. The food did look very good and there were many beer choices on tap.

Atmosphere is so chilled and new loos immaculate

We had a margarita pizza. Thick stodgy crust with little or no nutritional value in any ingredient included. Impossible to find any proof of a tomato in it. Cute bar but I presume it’s a case that f give the locals what they need to keep them happy.

Pretty cool Surf bar and Cafe , fantastic views of the beach at sunset,, free parking after 6 , i recommend the fresh Pizzas there fantastic but the seem like they can never keep up with pizza orders, 95min wait and it wasn't really that busy so we ordered from somewhere else for food. Drinks are expensive for the area aswell.

Lovely place to stop for a drink and an ice cream on a nice day. It was really busy and the staff were great . Will definitely be back

It's a lovely place to hang out by the beach when the weather is great. However £3.50 for a takeaway coffee cup is a bit much!!!!

Lovely place, very cosy, staff are friendly and helpful, the pizza's there are delicious 😋 good selection of alcohol, they serve ice cream with lots of different flavours, my only fault is last time I was in there for food, I had ordered my food and they gave me a buzzer to let me know when the food was ready to collect and after watching a while I went and checked on my food and the person said that it had been ready for a while, so I said that the buzzer didn't go off to which they replied not all of them work and they don't know which ones do and don't work, apart from that everything else was great 👍

Lovely place to visit, very relaxing. We stopped for an evening drink after a dog walk on the beach. It’s a great location, but can get very busy, especially in the evenings and weekends. The service can be slow at these times, although there seemed to be plenty of staff in the bar. After waiting to be served for what seemed ages, at the outside hatch, I navigated a very busy bar area. Staff pleasant and helpful.

6£ for a pint of cider now. Must be busses from London arriving. Surely not for the locals . One customer lost here.

Stopped in for a drink as we were walking down the sea front with the dog. We has a couple of bottles of pop, dog ice cream and a very milky cappuccino

Family get together ,most of the meals ok,but the fish & chips were not good ,fish was over cooked & very little fish to salvage.Very disappointed

Brilliant small bar offering a variety of beers and spirits. Great friendly staff and good atmosphere. Food served from outside area is excellent good value for money. Visited end of September so was quiet but it gets very busy in the summer.

It was a nice sunny day, breezy but just right to sit outside this pleasant, laid back cafe/bar and have a drinking looking at the seaside and listening to Bob Marley on their sound system. It brightens the sea front up lots.

We found this bar by accident and we were so glad we did . It’s a lovely bar inside and there is nice seating are outside they have a brilliant range of fruity ciders and plenty more alcoholic drinks all the staff were lovely it’s very clean inside we will be coming again

Lovely view of Rhyl sea front. Coffee wasn’t brilliant and there could be more freezer ice cream choices. Service was okay. Would be happy to return though.

We love this place and don’t visit enough. Called with friends on a Friday teatime and it was packed. We all ordered food- fries, burrito, noodles and chicken flatbreads- everything was delicious. Great choice of beers too and friendly staff. The best place to go in Rhyl.

Really great pizza dough and toppings. Kind of confusing to order food/drinks separately, but otherwise very nice selection, especially pizza and the Greek wrap.

I stopped at The outside cafe on a lovely morning walk with my dog. The menu is quite variable but i chose a breakfast bap that was well presented and so tasty.

Visited for a drink on arrival at Travelodge. It is a step away from Travelodge rhyl. Went inside very nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere. They sell ice creams too and were very busy on Sunday afternoon. They are doggy friendly too and had a large bowl filled with water for our furry friends. You can sit outside too. They do some food at various times but we just had a drink. Cloudy lemon cider delicious.

Super location. Service ridiculously slow, people so frustrated walking away!! I am local and felt management need to address this issue. If not, much business will be turning away when season becomes busier ???

This is a great little café. The staff are efficient and very pleasant. Well worth a stop - I will be returning soon. Try the blood orange sorbet - delicious.

Delicious Saturday afternoon lunch , nice selection of Gins to choose from too. The staff are super friendly at this cute and welcoming café & bar. Popped in for a take away Latte on my way home and it was nicest coffee in Ryhl ..

Excellent beers on tap and a wide selection of ice-cream available - very dog and child friendly inside and outside. The menu sounds great but we only stayed for a drink - highly recommended if you want great beer and a friendly atmosphere.

The food here was excellent and reasonably priced. There's a good choice of food and drink. We sat inside and there's plenty of outside seating also. Highly recommend if you're in Rhyl

I had my 50th birthday here and what an afternoon/evening we had. All the staff and Simon the owner we're great and looked after us all with excellent service and humour. Best bar on the North Wales coast. Thank you all 🍻

Love this place. Atmosphere is great and it has a cozy little feel to it all.

So nice you wouldn't know you were in Rhyl. Don't know how they do it but the atmosphere feels like you are in a beach bar somewhere more synonymous with warmth and sunshine without it feeling phoney. Only stopped for a pint of Guinness and a rum and coke, all good managed to get a seat though it was busy.

Been a few times, comfortable place, cosy with log burner, Coffee is good, we have eaten a few times and food is good. Enjoyed a breakfast bap today.

Great place to people watch but more importantly, it's dog friendly. No sitting outside in the cold gulping your drink before it goes cold. Very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Huge cups of your desired tea,hot chocolate ( don't know about the coffee as we didn't order it ) . Food and ice cream is available . All in all, it's a lovely place to go too.

Very rude staff and extremely bad service! Completely ignored our large group at the serving window. When we were eventually served. They got our order wrong several times. When I told the girl the order was wrong again. She walked off down the bar to another work colleague and had a rant about us thinking we couldn’t hear her. Her attitude stank! Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour hence the one star review. I may go back again in the near future to see if the customer service has improved.

Absolutely amazing visit to the Kite Surf, I’m local and been here many times before however I felt I needed to leave a review of how fantastic the Staff Lewis and Amelia were and the food was absolutely to die for! Thanks to Chris the chef… all in all a 10/10 visit! Well done to Simon and the team!

Always our favourite place to stop for an ice cream/coffee. Today was our first time having breakfast here, and so glad we decided to! The food was delicious, a very unique twist on a breakfast bap.

Unique place, nice choice of drinks and food

Had a brew here, hubby had a pint. Nice to sit and watch the sea and the world go by.

We just stopped for ice cream, it was very difficult to know what was available or how much it would be as there was no signage. I imagine it's all inside but they were only serving through a hatch. I asked for chocolate dipped waffle cones, and the server had to go hunting for them. The ice cream served by the scoop is nice ice cream. We had flakes too. The server only found a stand for the ice creams and had to wash it after I asked as I wasn't going to be able to hold them all and pay...she should have let me pay first. Lots of outdoor seating, but since the inside appeared closed to the public, it meant we couldn't use the bathroom or wash our hands (although I didn't ask).
