Had a lovely evening, I recommend this place to anyone Food cooked amazing and hot The the service was good Lovely all round. Ps if there was one thing that I'm not a fan of is this chips in a Bowl thing that's going on every were I go, to me it just Doesn't look good sorry is why it not a full all stars.

This has been one of my favourite eateries since it opened. A big thanks to John yesterday (Sunday 3/11) for help with our booking. After more than a year since our last visit, we were very pleased that standards haven't changed. Excellent food, Excellent service, and excellent all round. See you again soon 😃 Colin & Ally

Great friendly service and lovely food.

Had a table booked for 5pm, it was really busy. Great atmosphere and lovely surroundings, been here quite a few times before as the food is really good and reasonable prices, I think the service was a little compromised by the fact that they were so busy, but all in all another really enjoyable meal and a great time we had. Looking forward to our next visit..

Chicken was dry, cabbage was raw, gnocchi was like rubber and the entire dish was bland. I have enjoyed meals here in the past and hope it was just an off day. It would also have been nice to be asked if I enjoyed my food.

First time visiting here, and i would definitely return. The food was amazing, and the team was lovely they couldn't do enough for you.

Very good pub dinner! Sunday roasts are fabulous and a HUGE portion. Service is friendly to the mix of locals and tourists. Nice warm environment with a mix of antique and modern furnishings and decor and a wood burning fireplace!

Lovely food and good service had to wait a while for a drink we ordered but guy who served us quickly realised and dealt with it Only downside it was very loud and no music , which i get a busy Friday night but music would of been better

On holiday. Easy to book a table online. Pub was busy but table was ready, staff were very friendly as were the locals. Food was superb.

Excellent food and excellent staff and lovely scenery.

Unfortunately the truffle gnocchi was burnt and crispy, and there were only three individual pieces, not what I’d expect for almost £19. We sent the meal back and they agreed to replace it however the replacement wasn’t much better. I think they are over cooking it every time. The sea bass was also over cooked and greasy. When we got the bill there were no deductions for the inconvenience. Overall not a great experience when we were celebrating an 80th birthday.

First time I have visited this restaurant but I hope to return soon. Lovely setting, beautiful old furniture. Extensive lunchtime menu with several vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly staff with attentive but not obtrusive service. A great find!

Lovely food but when stating on menu the beef is served pink, it would be nice if it actually was when served.

Visited on both a Wednesday and Thursday evening on wet days in late September and on both nights it was pretty busy, reflecting what a good pub this is. Food is good, nice selection of beers and drinks and staff are very efficient and friendly. Even when busy the food arrived in good time. Would highly recommend and definitely return if in the area.

I cannot praise this place enough! I have visited a few times with my hubby and always had an amazing experience. Welcoming staff, lovely warm ambiance, gorgeous food and excellent service. Last Sunday I visited for Sunday lunch with the family. There were 11 of us in total including two toddlers (one of who has a wheat allergy) From the moment we arrived we had the most amazing time. We were out in the private dining room and the staff coped so well with all our demands despite the fact it was very busy. Nothing was too much trouble, every order and request was brought out quickly. All the food was hot and do tasty. Also the menu for my grandson with the wheat allergy was amazing. We’ve never been anywhere that has handled that so well, we were blown away. A massive thank you to all th staff who worked do hard that day!

Went here specifically for gluten free options on the menu - a good choice and excellent food - the boar, pork and parsnip pie was wonderful. A real treat to have so much gluten free choice - would definitely recommend and will return!

Staff polite and helpful in catering for dietary needs

Great place to eat with views to match. It’s a stop on the Offa’s dyke pass and dog friendly so plenty of tired feet and sleeping dogs. We’ve been here a couple of times before with the dogs, but this was our first time eating! The first thing to say about this place is the views are spectacular, there’s numerous seating areas across 3 levels to enjoy the views and they are not to be missed! The people working here are all so friendly and professional. Now let’s get on to the food, I had the braised shoulder of lamb with dauphinois and rosemary gravy, the bone easily pulled away from the meat and was so tender and tasty, portion size was spot on and the vegetables lovely, my better half had the black bomber cheddar quiche with crème fraiche new potatoes, alongside a side of onion rings. The quiche was served warm and was really tasty, the side salad included grapes, pea shoots and apples, a dressing would have topped it all off, but it was still delicious. The onion rings were light and crispy. Would highly recommend and we will be regular visitors

Steak, very chewy and not tasty Fish and Bombay potatoes not great and portion was tiny. This is the second time iv been here and both times did not enjoy the food and it’s expensive so you expect better. Probably won’t return.

Waiter was excellent and attentive. We ordered lamb shank, sea bass and fish and chips and all were great and good size portions. Very nice atmosphere too.

Fantastic pub with good range of beers, excellent food and helpful, polite and efficient service. Extremely busy but very well managed.

My son is coeliac, but the options for children and adults were phenomenal. The waiter and kitchen staff were so reassuring that I didn’t even get to ask my usual questions because they answered them before I asked. They went out of their way to ensure everything he had had been checked, without me asking. A very comprehensive list of all the allergens in their allergen book and QR code. To top it off, we had coffee to finish and they all come with a GF flapjack. The pub is set looking over Welsh hills, 2 gardens, and one balcony seating area. An absolute gem if you’re in the area!

Really great pub, menu is large with a lot of options - they really take into account allergies and food issues. Service was top notch - highly recommend. The lamb was amazing!!

Lovely brunning and price pub. Probably the best one I’ve been to. Several well kept ales on. Has the original pub at the (old) front with couple of snugs (even retains the original well inside the modern part ) and a good modern extension with cracking views. Allows stopovers with prior agreement. Some interesting chatty locals too. Highly recommended.. 🍻

Never ordered food going next time I see my sister who lives close by, it's an absolutely stunning place beautiful setting a lovely pint an a hot summer's day & just stunning gorgeous menu & thd food looks amazing I'm definitely going back xxxxx

We had the most amazing meal on Saturday 10th August, Zak did a brilliant job of looking after us and was very attentive with ensuring drinks were replaced when running low etc.This was my 1st visit and I loved it, would highly recommend to everyone as I think the prices are great for the exceptional service.

Food and staff excellent but shame that dog owners aren't asked to control their barking dogs. There were three dogs when I visited and they set each other off intermittently. They were allowed to bark right through my meal which spoilt my visit. When I complained to two members of staff they just smiled at me as if it was my problem.

Vegetarian food was not well cooked. Other dishes very good but in substantial.

Little gem of a place. I had the sweetchilli crisby beef, delicious. My kids had the kids burger, it was big enough for an adult. The kids pasta could of been slightly bigger, but it went down a treat. The sticky toffee pudding was something else, with chunks of toffee. Delicious.

Excellent when four of us went apart from two wines not being available. Few days later we went in a party of sixteen. Excellent food and all 16 meals arrived together. Service with a smile.

Had a lovely meal with the better half tonight. I took one star off because initially the sausage appeared to have gristle, but has it turned out, it was just one of the sausages and only one end. My shoulder of lamb was lovely from start to finish and is highly recommended. The young gent who looked after us did an excellent job. The venue seemed popular but was not overcrowded and had a range of groups and couples. The outdoor seating offers excellent views of the rolling countryside and to Snowdonia. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or even passing through.

/We went to the Dinorben Arms on 5th November 2022 with my husband and my father in law as it was his 100th birthday. All the staff were so amazing. Food was perfectly cooked, and when it came to our dessert the staff all came in a line carrying the said desserts and singing Happy Birthday to him. He was delighted it really made his day. It is not our first visit and certainly won't be our last. For great view's fantastic dedicated staff and perfectly cooked food, with plenty of choice all in a very lovely interior look no further. If I was to mark this business out of 10 it would be 11. Thank you all & well done. E E

A dog and child friendly pub is hard enough to find, let alone one that has great, attentive staff and tasty food. Will be going back next time we are in North Wales.

We stumbled across this place on our holiday in north wales, and we are super happy we found it. The staff here were absolutely fantastic, every single one was so friendly and helpful. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. The view from the roof terrace is amazing! We will be back! Thankyou!

Food excellent let down by barking dogs is supposed to be a restaurant Not the most attentive service money taken but basically ignored whilst doing so Shame really took the edge off what was a really nice meal

Nice place with spectacular views from the outside terrace and some of the window tables indoor. Staff are polite and friendly. Make sure you prebook your table if you would like to enjoy the view from inside :)

Really great pub, one to visit. We are here on holiday and the staff were very accommodating as we walked in without a booking. Good range of non alcoholic drinks to choose from but also stocked local alcohol. I have some dietary requirements so I was impressed when the barman handed me a special menu listing all the allergens. My husband and I ended up having 3 courses for a very reasonable price. All the food was excellent. The pub has many outdoor areas as well but the ones upstairs looked so nice, great in the summer so hopefully we will be back to enjoy them at a later date.
