The best restaurants in Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

Booked this in November and find out the night before our booking that it was closed indefinitely. No communication from restaurant regarding the booking

Saturday afternoon dinner for 2 mates. I will begin with the explanation for low marks. Price is absolutely far too expensive for what was received. A pittance of a starter at £19 for 2 consisted of 3 small pieces of pakora and another minced lamb finger pickup nugget which though hot in temperature and high in taste was simply a pittance for a starter. 2 main curries were each over £20 but were almost cold in temperature and quite bland in taste. At that price you could expect at least some rice but that came separately as did the Nan bread which was thin, crispy and small. If that’s your expectation of an £80 lunch then feel free to visit but in my opinion a better lunch could have been gotten elsewhere in and around Merchant Square. Isnt hindsight a great concept.

Pollo milanese came served with rigatoni not spaghetti! Spaghetti bolognese was meatballs not mince! Lasagne very small portion. Felt ignored by the staff for long periods. Won't be going back!

Aparecimos sin reserva. La camarera no podría haber sido más servicial. Estaba ocupado, pero dijo que había una mesa disponible en treinta minutos. Cuando volvimos nos reconocieron inmediatamente y nos mostraron a nuestra mesa con una vista al balcón. El servicio se mantuvo fantástico durante toda la noche. La comida era a la vez se veía y sabía increíble. Recomendaría este restaurante a cualquiera.

We booked dinner at this lovely pub given the excellent reviews. Good choice of beers and the best steak pie we've ever had in the UK! The place was quite crowded and noisy, but fortunately they reserved a table for us that was a little out of the way. The service was fast, the staff polite and kind. Advised

King mixed kebab, £11, Monday 12.30am absolutely delicious, perfect chicken and lamb tikka with a well cooked naan, donner also better than most. Very good mixed kebab.

Had £5 Souvlaki voucher code, no issues redeeming on arrival. Quick friendly service. Lamb meatball souvlaki was warm and delicious. Quick lunch, no fuss

food served as for. poor people I ordered chow main with chicken, they gave me just pasta with onion reheated from the microwave, it definitely wasn't fresh pasta because it was pungent, and the soup was even worse. it was made from a stock cube, no taste, no nothing, they added pasta and sold it, it's a shame, you people don't have any taste for a penny, you used to make very good dishes, now what you make is not suitable for eating, after all you can only eat pasta without meat The one I ordered was some kind of circus.

Friendly staff and good service and food

Seems now you just wait for Just Eat etc to get their deliveries first, and the guys all hang about it's not a good look. I actually waited over 15 mins for breakfast today. Normally you get quicker.

I didn't have anything I went for the board game evening , the atmosphere was good, next time I go I will have the food it looked good.

Ordered a jolibees on uber and what arrived was a disgrace as if it was slam dunked in the bag wil NEVER order food from here again absolutely abysmal

Had a main and a starter, couldn't finish either, but that's not a complaint, more of a compliment! Good food and drinks for a great price, service is on point as well.

Just went to the drive through. We ordered a bacon mctasty meal and a qtr pounder with cheese meal. We live just two streets away from the Helen Street branch. The whole lot was cold by the time we drove there. At that distance, it must have been cold when they bagged it. Cmon McDonald's, turn the heat up a little. And, what's with the foam milkshake? It's terrible.
