THIS PLACE HAS BEEN CLOSED DOWN AND NOW BEEN USED TO HOUSE ASYLUM SEEKERS

Cancelled a booking without any explanation for 2 weeks time, despite being paid in full for just under a year. Left me and the other half having to pay above the odds for a last minute replacement room elsewhere. Disgusting behaviour to leave such short notice, since discovered the hotel closed in August of 2023 based on other reviews, yet no decency to update until now. Will be seeking legal advice on compensation.

Migrant accommodation now, owned my Mears Group. You could try to book something but, you know, it might not go well depending on your expectations.

Terrible! Scam! Don’t book! We booked through travel agency on June and the room was terribly smelly. We feedback it and the hotel agreed to refund and we found another hotel on that day. But we still did not get the total refund now. It’s been half a year and the hotel just provide all excuses to avoid giving us back the refund. Even though I exactly have the email that they agree the refund. Any way that I can seek for help or I can claim to a court?

Booked a room for the 12th of September, been sent an email from them with the subject line ‘reservation cancellation'. I hadn’t cancelled it and why would they have to, so phoned them to be sure and turns out they had to cancel a few reservations because they were overbooked, even though I’ve had this room booked since May. They left it up until 2 weeks away to let me know and now rooms in Glasgow are extortionate so I’ve got to get a bus back to Aberdeen at 1am. God knows how awful the service would’ve been if I actually ended up staying.
