I’d give it minus if I could wasn’t fresh whatsoever 🤔 could only stomach one bite seafood chow mein and half a chicken ball won’t be back!!

Got a chicken curry. Not chicken breast probably chicken thigh they use. The meat was wee and bitty with fat on that I could taste and tough bits. After hearing horror stories about Chinese takeaways involving cats and dogs that's all I could think about when eating it as it didn't taste like chicken from a normal Chinese curry And they cut the onions into slithers thin and long so not crunchy. The staff are very nice and helpful but the food one star

Food is absolutely terrible, full of grease and tasteless, would avoid this place

This was the worst chinese I've ever had. I stay 5 minutes away and food was concealed like it had been driven all over. The beef blk bean was yuk the curry was so sweet and weird.the chips were over cooked. Spring rolls and rice were ok. but 30 pounds for it to not be eaten. I won't be back.

over a hour I've waited and no food has arrived and it says it has been delivered and the shops not answering the phone

Not sure if this restaurant has changed chef or something or just a drop in standards, but food quality is terrible not what it used to be.

Rice was stodgy, chips were hard, chicken was chewy- we had a few mouthfuls and threw it in the bin.

Lovely owners, friendly staff and great food. I recommend the Roast Duck Fried Rice, honestly the best I’ve had

rubber chicken and watery sauce ,never had a curry so bad,don't waste your money ordering from this place.

The food was far too salty to eat therefore a photograph would not show this....it's an ingredient content! It had been prepared with too much salt added at the time of cooking prior to delivery!

Have been going here for years never had a bad meal yet always friendly and welcoming.

I’ve used this Chinese for years and this has to be the worst food we’ve had! Really disappointing!

Salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken balls were appalling only thing I could taste was a mouthful of salt seemed to have no other flavour at all the chips were soggy and bland

Chips were soggy- i left specific instructions on how to get to my buzzer but the driver “forgot his glasses” so my chips were soggy

The best sweet and sour chicken I’ve eaten in years. Sauce was sweet and sour in equal measures with loads of flavour. The chicken balls had loads of white chicken in the middle and super crispy outside - delicious. The shop followed my request for boiled rice. With takeaway prices rising as they are everywhere I’m happy paying for good quality food. Thank you.

Considering that the takeaway is 5 mins from my home and delivery fee £3.50 food was cold and chicken balls were doughy.

Best chinese have ever tasted. Their crispy chicken satay is delicious, as was everything else. Will be back again!!

We have previously ordered from this place before but tonight was awful enough that we will not be ordering again We contacted the takeaway and the staff couldn’t give 2 hoots about our feedback and just hung up the phone.

First time trying got to say I'm not impressed 8.50 for a chow mein I was expecting it to be outstanding but it wasn't had alot nicer for cheaper it was edible though Soup not so great Lovely delivery driver

Unfortunately, several stuff about the order made me unwell and I had to bin most of it. Not sure if anything was actually wrong with the food but it didn't taste/smell and feel okay to me, which is a shame.

Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed so decided to order from here... wish I hadn’t bothered! Curry was so salty, chips were ok, spring rolls were ok. But to top it off I spent £25 to be told I need to order from their website to get free prawn crackers! Will not be back 👎🏼 Please don’t waste your money and go to Kenny’s or Golden Buck! (If open 😛)

This food is terrible, curry sauce is like water and the chicken balls I bought are very greasy and overcooked.. When I took off the dough to eat just the chicken it was very very salty. Im never eating from here again.

The Singapore chow mein wasn’t nice,it was very very greasy and left a coating to that wasn’t pleasant to eat. The curry sauce was nice snd spicy and the prawn crackers were good,it’s a pity the main event wasn’t nice. It was a good portion size. But nothing like a genuine Singapore noodle dish.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just received my crispy kung po chicken and gagged at the first fork full, truly disgusting, sauce was off so badly it was brown not a nice red colour as it should be. I informed the restaurant and was told more or less tough luck thats what you ordered !!!! Ill never be back, makes me shudder at what their kitchen must be like. yuk !!!!

Food is lovely from here, down side is they offer free prawn crackers and veg spring rolls with orders over £25, twice now we've ordered over £25 worth of food and not got the freebies, if you want your prawn crackers order some because you'll probably not get them as a freebie

Had a chicken chowmain, portion of sesame prawn toast & prawn crackers, the whole lot was delicious. sometimes crackers can be a hit or a miss but they were great too. Fist time using this place will certainly be using again. ❤️

The best Chinese and Malaysian takeaway in the area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The prices are exceptionally fair. The food is great, I have been coming here for 10 years. Highly recommend.

Portion size was very good. Quality of food was very good. Well prepared and cooked properly. Driver was friendly.

Considering how how much you pay for nearly £29.00 pounds the restaurant doesn't even consider giving you something for like any other restaurant where they do give you something over a certain price but other than that it's lovely food thanks.

Not for me I’m afraid. I ordered pork fried rice & the pork was very fatty & chewy, not at all enjoyable.

70 minutes is long enough of a delivery time but to take up that entire amount, then still be another 15 minutes late is just embarrassing

We ordered the Szechuan beef and it was absolutely disgusting we couldn’t eat it at all! The sweet and sour sauce was also extremely bad! The only saving grace about this order was the chicken curry and even that was slightly above average.

Food was delicious, as always! Can't fault New Lucky Star.

Chicken curry was absolutely boggin n am not even kidding when a say it both tasted and smelled foosty. Said no onions in beef curry. Surprise surprise use canny read cause there was ONIONS IN MA BEEF CURRY.

brilliant size portions got a special satay and tub was bursting with meat . the only down fall i would say is i spent £20 n didnt get free crackers which i thought i would get so didnt order any gutted as we always have with part of our chinese meals. but would deffo order again

The food was delivered late by an unfriendly driver. The food itself had a few good elements (chips) but the mains were abysmal - no flavour, soggy texture on the "cripsy" chicken. Sad- this is a local to us, but will never order there again.
