I no longer stay at the hotel but I still go to the public bar and injoy my time there also the staff are still very welcoming and friendly as all the people who go there to
If you are French customers, do not go there! We only asked for 12 cookies after waiting in line. The waitress asks us to wait and then completely ignores us. Then with her colleague they take the orders of the customers behind us as if we did not exist, and make them go through the cash register. I then ask if we can just have our cookies to leave afterwards, but they ignore us and continue to take the customer behind us who wants cookies in addition to her sandwiches, and the waiter gives her the last M&M's cookies we wanted. We left immediately!!
I decided to have dinner at the hotel because I arrived tired and it was a pleasant surprise! I was very well attended to and the food was excellent, at a very good price! I had a starter of breaded mushrooms that were perfectly cooked and a main course of a steak cooked perfectly with peas and fries also perfectly cooked. There are good options of beer, draft beer and wine.
Excellent service and cuisine!
Delivery took 1 hour 45 mins and food was cold by the time it arrived at 23.45.
We could not eat anything except the 1 portion of fried rice.
The BBQ sauce on special fried rice/mushrooms/tub was so salty we could not eat it at all
The Banana Fritters looked like they were microwaved as the batter was still White, not golden brown like it was fried
We still have the whole lot in the tubs if you want it all back
Complete waste of £26.50
Ordered from here a few times but will never order again, not sure if it new folk in kitchen but the whole meal was a disaster
The location of the restaurant is exceptional, you couldn't pick a better view. We had a table looking over Princess Street with amazing views towards the old town.
Good service from Rory, I couldn't fault the food and we ate from the conveyor belt.
We went at lunch time on the spur of the moment without a reservation, the restaurant was busy and we just managed to get the last table. I would definitely book in advance if you intend to dine there.
We will be back.
The fish and chips from Creel Caught was grossly overpriced for a piece of fish you would expect to pick up at Farmfoods and low quality frozen chips. Even the mushy peas were awful. To say I was disappointed is an under statement when I saw the quality of the other dishes that my family had. Will be back at Bonnie and Wild but you can be sure I will be giving Creel Caught a wide berth.
