Never gone out of my way to write a review before but I feel like this place deserves one. After a long night shift at work, I ordered from this place via Deliveroo. The app stated that the restaurant uses its own drivers, and the order would take about 45 minutes. However, after waiting over an hour, I tried contacting the restaurant over 13 times, with no response. I even tried another number I found on their direct website, but still no answer. After TWO HOURS of trying to contact them, we just gave up and went to bed. The next morning, I noticed a missed call at 5:30 AM, which was about two and a half hours after my order was placed. While I understand that delays can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of communication. No updates, no apology, and no way to cancel the order because no one was answering the phone. To make matters worse, when I contacted Deliveroo for a refund, they told me they needed to reach out to the restaurant first to confirm whether the order had been delivered. It turns out the restaurant falsely claimed they had delivered it. Despite providing proof of my multiple attempts to contact them, Deliveroo still said they couldn’t refund me because the restaurant insisted the order had been delivered. I’m sharing this to hopefully save someone else from this hassle. I really hope they improve their communication and customer service in the future.

One of the best places to have your late-night meals. Heavy filling, customised desi wraps, burgers and also they do traditional fish and chips as well. They cook Indian food for events and also group orders for small gatherings.

We ordered for the New Year Party on 1st Jan. Sai was extremely helpful and made a very good Chicken Dum Briyani, Chicken 65 with saalan and raitha. It was so flavorful and tasty. The quantity we ordered was for 15 people and it was sufficient for 18 people. This is the 2nd year in a row we have ordered with this firm and they haven't disappointed us! Tasty, Quality food for appropriate price!

From the first bite, this Indian-style pizza was nothing short of a revelation. The crust was perfectly crisp and thin, with a light, buttery texture that held up beautifully against the toppings. The real magic, however, was in the flavor combination. Instead of traditional tomato sauce, the pizza was generously spread with a vibrant, tangy tikka masala sauce—rich, creamy, and slightly smoky, with just the right amount of spice to kick things up a notch.

Got a delivery chips overcooked, fish a weird yellow colour. Really poor food. Delivery was good and timely and was warm when arrived.

We did pre-order lunch takeaway on Christmas Day for 35 people but only got food for 20-25 people. Very disappointing portions , they did not give mirchi salan for biryani , no sugar in the kheer and when phoned they simply said they forgot to put sugar ( not sure how they thought it is ok ) , even raita was not sufficient for 20 people . Very disappointed and stressed with the fact that we had to experience this on the Christmas Day , few main people haven’t had a food since it’s not sufficient. Starters were just over one kg chicken fry for 35 people which is just a joke. I would never recommend these people if you are hosting a big party , even if you place order just make sure you personally check the portions and if possible have one of those guys to come and serve the food so they can see what their quantities are . Even after complaining there is no action or even a sorry note , collected full money . They have spoiled the most important day of the year .

Ordered a half pound cheeseburger and chips and this is what I revived absolutely disgusting no salad no cheese the meat and bread tasted off the chips where absolutely stone cold and were inedible what a disgusting place to eat from should be shut down !!!

Been coming here for years and always amazing food. They have everything from pizzas, donor, fish & chips and biryani. Great portions, quick service, and consistently amazing—highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. When you come and visit, ask for Krishna :)

This was actually my second choice - there's another fry bay up the road, but it was shut. I had a fish supper and it was perfectly and freshly cooked and very tasty! I think next time I'll try the Masala Fish, as it's first on their fish menu. Looking forward to it.

Ordered fish supper and a half pizza crunchie and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes… went back to the car and wanted to check out the food so had a look at the fish and the batter was disgusting. Was crispy on the outside but mushy and uncooked on the underside and the fish looked dirty like it has been wiped on the floor. Took it back and asked for a refund and was told they couldn’t give me a refund, then was told I would need to wait two hours for the manager to arrive… stood my ground and after a quick phone call gave me a refund. Glad I took the food back, probably avoided some bad food poisoning. Definitely avoid this place, the atmosphere is weird and the food is disgusting and by the looks of the other reviews either undercooked or burnt. Staff were unprofessional and immature. There was 1 other customer while I was in, the McDonalds across the road was packed full of people after Rangers Vs Man Utd at Murrayfield. They need to be shown how to cook chippy food to a basic level, keep the place clean and hygienic and how to act professional and friendly at work.

Just straight up disappointing, ordered from here multiple times and each time the order has arrive *at least* an hour and a half late. The food quality is nowhere near good enough to warrant this, not to mention them messing up my drink every time. I'm sure the only reason people still order from here is due to it being open past midnight.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The chicken burger was an absolute delight from the first bite to the last. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, with a crispy coating that added the perfect crunch. FOOD POISONING- My husband and I got food poisoning from the fish and chips. The service was very slow and the food didn't even taste that nice. So overall, we will never be going back there again. I haven't been able to eat or even look at Fish & Chips since.

Worst chippy I’ve ever had. Food came 2 hours late and was cold and horrible. Genuinely the worst chippy I have ever had. Pita didn’t even come with the kebab. Steak pie was soggy and badly cooked and forgot all sauces etc.

This is the most disgusting meal i've ever tasted in my life and I mean that, it was horrid. I don't know what you would call those but they are not chips. I couldn't even finish the meal and I paid 15 Great British pounds for it. That is one and a half hours of work for me. It took long enough to come to start off with for it to be of this quality. The person who made this should be sentenced to eating their own food multiple times over. I promise you they wouldn't survive. Please it is with urgency that I ask you, if you're that hungry that you have to resort to purchasing from this establishment just go to sleep or take the time to make the food on your own.

Wrongly took my order so it wasn’t fulfilled and then waited for it to be corrected (adding chips) and paid the extra money. Got home to wait it and it was still wrong (wrong size of portions) and the chips weren’t edible being half burnt and half raw. Absolute joke

Ordered through uber eats at 2am but the restaurant have their own delivery partners. order arrived at 3:10am after much unnecessary hassle. order was due to arrive between 2:20am-2:40am. after 2:20am the uber app was telling us to phone the restaurant if it hadn’t arrived yet and so we gave it till 2:30am and decided to phone. As the call was answered, my friend started by saying we had placed an order blah blah blah and was very bluntly cut off by the man on the phone and told our order was just being handed to the driver. Fast forward to 2:40am, food still not here (the restaurant is about a 5 min drive) but we didn’t think too much of it as we thought they may have had another order to drop along the way. got to 3am, still no sign of our order so we phoned again and were met with the same rudeness, being cut off and talked over. We were told the delivery driver had been to the address and tried to phone us 3 times however it is my dad’s (who was at home asleep for work in the morning) number that is connected to the account. For that exact reason, we had went and sat down at the main entrance of our accommodation (massive windows and doors with windows that lookout right onto the street) when we had placed the order and not once did we see a car pull up. we were told by the restaurant man that we had to wait a further 30 mins, which obviously I was understandably not happy with. and so he told us to phone the delivery driver. The restaurant man also told me to “wait” while he started having a conversation with someone else when i was in the middle of speaking and trying to sort the issue, and so i hung up because he was taking so long and we were trying to phone the driver. Once connected to the driver, he was telling us how he’d already been to the address and we explained the situation and told him that he definitely hadn’t been to the address. I even put in the delivery notes “it’s the student accommodation on the corner” because I know the area can be confusing for delivery drivers, not my fault if he’s ignored that. after a few minutes of going back and forth and not really getting anywhere, the driver abruptly hung up on us. The restaurant owner had phoned me back and I let him know I was not happy with him or the delivery driver and the way they were speaking to us. Honestly, it was so frustrating, I could not get a word in. And the annoying thing is, we never even phoned with the intention of complaining or arguing, we simply just wanted an update on the order but the way we were spoken to and how it was handled was completely wrong and unprofessional. When the delivery driver eventually arrived with our order, he got out the car, never said a word, couldn’t even look me in the eye and handed me the order. Attached is a photo of the ‘chips and cheese’ we received. I had another picture but It’s somehow deleted, but the chips underneath were completely black. Overall, I am completely disappointed with the service provided by this restaurant and their delivery partners.Their attitude was shocking. luckily we were able to get our money back through uber. First and last time ordering from this place.

Wow, I couldn’t think of a worse place to eat than this, my chips looked like they had been homemade and they weren’t made by a person that knew what they were doing. Honestly if you want to keep an establishment you have to know how to treat your customers, this food felt like disrespect.

Sometimes there’s food that looks really bad but tastes really good. This wasn’t it. You can’t serve this to people, it’s wrong, it’s immoral. Honestly I wouldn’t even believe it if it hadn’t happened to me. Please just look at the pictures.

I don’t believe this is the food that they decided to bring to my establishment, my place of slumber, my own house, it’s not acceptable. The chef or whoever made this food, cannot cook. The food that I had was horrific, chicken, pink on the inside, pizza, stale; something you’d see at a school cafeteria tastes better than this. Awful. Not sure if this place has just been taken over but one of the worst chippies / kebab places I’d been too Ordered a chicken hoagie which ended up being a doner wrap. Came with chips that were cooked in burnt oil and inedible. Will only make this mistake once. If it wasn’t far to drive back I would have gone back and asked for a refund. Just left with inedible food instead

I placed an order today on my way home, I paid, the app says : thanks, we are on it, and 20 minutes later I got a text message saying that my order is cancelled and I got a refund. I checked again the app and some miracle happened, “Not taking any orders today.” Please update your opening hours, because it shows everywhere you are open right now, but it’s not true….

Wow the batter on the fish is made from old soggy sponges I think.. Response to the owner since they messaged. Bit inconvenient coming back to your shop as your out of my way. Also based on other reviews looks like your batter has been an issue for a while. I’m not sure what you’re doing with it but it would appear that the consistency is too thick. I ordered a couple of things fish and sausages and both were the same. Genuinely the worst batter I’ve ever seen in my life and I wouldn’t want to waste my time for 15 quid coming back to your shop.

Lovely place, friendly staff, amazing food, good quality food

Came across this place by sheer luck and it really was spectacular. The portion sizes are huge. To give you a rough idea, the pita bread took up the length of a fish n chips box. The food tasted absolutely beautiful and was still roasting when it arrived and the guy who delivered it was such a lovely guy. I have recently just moved back from Spain, where there is a kebab shop on every corner, but I can honestly say this was hands down THE best kebab i ever had. Silly little things like the chilli sauce being just the right heat and the garlic mayo so tasty but not at all overwhelming. If you find yourself looking for somewhere new to try and reading this comment do yourself a favour and stop looking. 100% recommend and 100% will be back.

The food was terrible oven junk that could be bought from a supermarket the batter was not even cooked all the way through the chips was a mix of random different supermarket chips, and not a very hygienic environment for t food to be prepared in, would go somewhere else for chippy food

Looks to be under new management again. Not a fillet of fresh fish- frozen rectangular block of fish a la giant fish finger. Chips - meh and hardly any at all. Only plus point- cooked to order. Go to the Gorgie Fry or Fountain Park Fry. This place feels like it really wants to be a kebab place but there was already another shawarma place close by. It needs to decide what kind of food it wants to offer and then get good at it. I will not be back.

Went in tonight and the staff there are lovely. Offered me a wee piece of pakora (for free) while I waited on my food being made, chatty and lovely folks there! Food was tasty too! Chips and curry sauce were great, my partner had a sausage supper and he enjoyed it. Only reason I've marked down atmosphere as 4 stars is it was very quiet, no music or anything to help ease the wait time, otherwise it is a lovely place with lovely staff, and good food!

We got the mixed (chicken and doner) kebab with fries. The food arrived within 5 minutes and the staff were really friendly. They even gave us a complimentary biriyani with it. Highly recommend!!!

So recently had seen one of the reviews and was curious to know what it was all about and then had a fish supper, like the previous review stated it wasn’t any frozen fish, it was a fresh box that they receive every alternative day The masala fish is a must try so are the kebabs!!!

I bought lamb donner with garlic nan & salad very first time from this shop & it's the best food I have had, the portion size, the freshness of lamb donner, nan & salad with sauces all were superbly tasty so highly recommended. Next time I will try biryani from these guys. Thank you 😊

Ordered a veggie chip wrap from this place and asked them to surprise me. I was floored by a simple chip wrap, to get a huge wrap, piping hot and fillied with veggies and sauces. Tasted oh so delicious! If you want to try something new or want a spin on the regular chips! Try this the next time! 👌

Ordered two fish suppers and our whole family got food poisoning from the fish. Chips were oven supermarket chips and the quality was not good. I also noticed the fish was grabbed by hand when being placed in the packaging. It’s hard to believe this place has good reviews because even if we didn’t get food poisoning the quality was terrible. Messaged to notify them about the food poisoning on Facebook and asked for a refund but unfortunately they didn’t respond.
