Delivery took 1 hour 45 mins and food was cold by the time it arrived at 23.45. We could not eat anything except the 1 portion of fried rice. The BBQ sauce on special fried rice/mushrooms/tub was so salty we could not eat it at all The Banana Fritters looked like they were microwaved as the batter was still White, not golden brown like it was fried We still have the whole lot in the tubs if you want it all back Complete waste of £26.50 Ordered from here a few times but will never order again, not sure if it new folk in kitchen but the whole meal was a disaster

Tried two different dishes they were good but would not choose them again . A personal taste though .

Peking ribs was nice and the spring rolls. But the chips were overly salty. Sweet and sour sauce was way too sweet. Tasted more like a desert. Had two tastes before throwing in the bin. Chilli/garlic was alright but quite bland.

Used to be great, not anymore, terrible food

Disgusting hot & sour soup was like mashed tasted vile,Thai curry watery and very bland, give this place a miss in future, overpriced

Never ordering again my order was wrong the food was vile I don’t normally complain but when I’ve spent £40 on a Chinese and it comes wrong I had more onion in the chicken curry my partner and my children didn’t even eat it waste of money

Was good of them to call me as the just eat app had missed the delivery costs for today but all was well spoken and meal was great as usual. Also wished me a merry christmas so shows this take away is more customer compliant :)

First time ordering from here the food was lovely and plenty of it . Only thing was we ordered chicken wings in chilli sauce but not to our liking our fault but we tried them as it was something new . Over all we both enjoyed our evening meal.

chicken rice was excellent, noodles were soggy and i couldnt eat them. order was already supposed to take an hour and ended up taking two hours.

ordered LEMON chicken. got sliced chicken with sweet and sour sauce. called restaurant and was told it my fault as I never asking in the comments for LEMON sauce with a dish called LEMON CHICKEN. anyway they sent a replacement but we had already ate some of the lemon chicken so the guy took the replacement back to the shop its it April fools day today lol

still waiting on my food at 0030 when food was orderd at 2230 the night before ????

This is the only constant place to get crispy duck from always lots of meat on it every time. 10/10

They ran out of an item on the order, but called us to discuss options - we then received a comparable item we chose tailored to match what was originally ordered. All arrived hot and well packaged, all was delicious - couldn’t fault if we tried

Took them 2 hours to deliver and when they told us it was finally there, it took the driver another 15 minutes to find the address, even though it‘s right at the main street. Food wasn‘t really good either.

I love this place. Fantastic food and excellent customer service. Dumplings to die for. I ordered two portions = 12 dumplings, they only had 11. They called and offered a few spring rolls and some prawn crackers to make up for the missing dumpling. Can’t argue with that :) thank you, my meal was delicious.

food is great as is service but delivery was poor on my last delivery a dish was open and contents was all over the rest of delivery

Chips were dry and the whole meal was cold. Never ordering from here again.

Food was ordered at 16.46pm and estimated delivery was 18.15 to 18.35 and just eat said food was delivered at 18.40 and it wasnt. Made 2 calls to restaurant who said the food was still being cooked and will be out soon. Food arrived at 19.00pm

Chowmein and satay chicken was extremely Salty. Sweet and sour sauce was too sweet it was unedible and honey chicken wings were soggy. Order was delivered 3 hours after ordering, 1.5 hours after expected delivery time.

We usually love Chinese. But tonight was ridiculous food was an hour and a half late - so 3 hours from order to delivery. Very very disappointed food was only warm when it arrived.

Still waiting for my order which should have been with me between 8.10 and 8.30. It’s now 9.03. Not good enough.

Two and a half hours late Waited ages and had multiple useless phone calls Curry sauce exploded all over the bag and has stained my kitchen counter It was also cold

Usually my go-to Chinese. Although the food quality is good most of the time, delivery times are shocking. Estimated time is always 1hour15-1 hour 30 which is rarely met. Tonight I waited 2hrs 30 minutes for my order.

Says it’s been delivered when it’s not been

I ordered our meal about 7pm so it was disappointing for it be delivered 20 minutes after the scheduled. Plus the food was cold when it did arrive.

Delivery was an hour late. Food was okay, mixed vegetables was just onions and bean sprouts with a couple of pieces of broccoli and sauce was wrong. Chicken and noodles were okay but cold.

Probably the best Chinese takeaway I have had in a long time. Everything was perfect and the food tasted amazing. I will be definitely be ordering from those guys again! 10/10

My experience is I didn’t get to eat the food because when I took it out the bag the box split and all the food ended up on the floor because the box was so wet, £25 I didn’t have to waste and now also need a carpet cleaner due to the curry an bbq sauce staining my floor!!

Not really worth the money. Sauce in crispy beef was too watery

I don’t give reviews normally, but I really enjoyed the food from this takeaway. Dainty spring rolls were tasty and crisp, and sweet & sour king prawns were succulent and delicious. The nicest takeaway I have had in a long time.

I always use this Chinese even when before we had an issue with the food. I ate one chicken wing, and went to eat another and the chicken was off. It was smelling and had a terrible sour taste

First time trying this one. Fast delivery and very tasty. Noodles a wee bland but maybe that’s because I had peking ribs and salt chilli chicken first. Peking ribs were fantastic

My usual Chinese takeaway seemed to be shut this week, so tried this for the first time. The food is delicious! Nice chicken breast in the satay, and big juicy king prawns in the Chow mien. 100% will be using from now on!

Item late and missing items from order!

Missed Taste of China when it was closed. Although they deserve a holiday, with days and hours worked. Food is fabulous, and always tasty. Owners and staff very nice and polite too.

Was very disappointed in my food today. Ordered for collection for 5.50 and had a message to say was ready at 5.35, had to run out the door only to notice I forgot cash so had to come all the way home. By the time I got my food it was freezing. It sat there the whole time. If it was ready for when I asked it for everything would have been hot. Lucky I love this Chinese and order a lot but if this was my first time I definitely wouldn’t order again.

Food was absolutely gorgeous tonight. Everything was cooked perfectly. For a big order it was made in time, everything was fresh and hot and not one thing left from anyone’s plate. Will defo order again.

Took around 1 hour & some food just warm like the chips & curry sauce . It was delicious though .

Salt in both dishes was delicious and killed every others flavours. You shouldn't change your previous recipe (where was a thousand times less salt). I understand that "salt & chilli" dish have salt, but whole salt cellar is too much.

Good food always hot when delivered

Sweet & sour chicken ball sauce without a doubt the best I’ve had. Chicken balls lovely but rather chewy and not enough in 1 portion(compared to others) . Chips are very good if not the best quality. Due to delivery time, sometimes a little colder than would like.

2.5 hour wait for food was not acceptable, orders should have been suspended by the restaurant. We ate so late it ruined what would have been a nice meal.

More expensive than most local, but generally really nice. Delivery is always longer, phoned a couple of times to ask where it is. Used a few times but understand its just busy. Last order spent over £50, 2 items missing, they weren't keen to redeliver and just wanted me off the phone, but eventually did deliver very quickly and the driver was very rude. Unfortunately its not a place I will use again due this recent experience. 😔

Would not but from here again ordered the special noodles and got noodles and all pork two deliveries the same in one night

Used this takeaway serval times & was never disappointed. However this time Waited 2.5 hours, Chips were rock hard, dumplings undercooked & did not taste fresh. Work be using again unfortunately.

Food usually great, little disappointed this time

Every time I order from here it’s always late. Over an hour late tonight, my wife ended up leaving for her work before it arrived. Food was good, just a shame about the time it takes. Delivery driver was just a drop and go.

2 hours 30 mins late and shocking customer service from restaurant

Asked for ASAP delivery and settled down to wait the estimated 60-75 minutes, so was very impressed that the it arrived early. Fantastic food. Will order again (probably many times!)

Foods decent but order it a couple hours before you want it

You got me the wrong drink i have order coke cola you have give me diet coke telling me you have not got any very disappointment you could have phone me and let me know but nope you made a mistake

They got the order wrong. I ordered chicken fried rice and they delivered chicken curry.

Fried rice was very bland and dry Chicken satay sauce was think lumps and gelled Chips and Singapore rice noodles were lovely

It came very very late we waited ages and it said the food was delivered we called after 1 hour and they said there just making the food now.

Took almost 2 and a half hours to deliver. Like warm when it arrived and didn’t taste great.

Food was not good. Rice was too salty. Curry sauce was as thick as wallpaper paste and the salt and pepper shredded chicken lacked chicken. Salt and pepper shredded batter I think. Poor show.

UNHAPPY to say the least , regular customers and our dinner had to go in bin, very disappointed with service and the quality of food for our sunday dinner. Doubt we will be ordering food again from here!!’

Ribs were too well done. Chicken wings batter was a bit to tough. I won’t use another Chinese though. Staff very nice and so friendly.

Sent us the wrong chicken dish chicken looked like it was swimming in oily water as sauce , chips were burnt and scraps . Zero filling in the veg spring rolls . Tried to call restaurant no answer waste money really disappointed

Food is always tasty and hot on delivery. Reasonably priced and good choice of dishes.
